1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: March 05, 2018, 05:02:27 PM
Which do you think is better and why?

Ethereum is well establish! been into crypto for years but neo now is getting more audience and attention as many ICO are seeing NEP5 a better place to have.
NEO will overcome ETH soom and i am pretty sure of that a year or 3!

First nice topic with right comparison. Two platforms Etherem and NEO. Behind
Ethereum Russian`s, and behind NEO Chinese.
Currently Ethereum is better as SantiPOGI say`s. Established platform with a lot
of supporters already. Many ICO`s are raised on Ethereum platform already.
But NEO is new, and for a short time NEO attracted a lot of attention. In couple
years anything can happen, and NEO can come closer to Ethereum, but to be better
it will takes more then just couple years.
Conclusion I have it both and I think both will have a bright future.
Worth noting that of these, NEO is one which is actively working on the centralization issue. Centralization is not baked into their code or structure, it can and will be solved. You can see how they're starting on this here, a number of organizations are contributing to the network: http://monitor.cityofzion.io/
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: March 05, 2018, 04:30:20 PM
You have to understand that the crypto market is very small and it can be manipulated very easily by whales and market makers. Banks and institutions coming making presence in the market makes short term outlook even worse. Nevertheless if you believe the crypto is here ti sta when looking long-term, I think your position is better than others who will be flodding in this year.
I like the way you are thinking. There's a lot of traps done by smart people who understand what drives human behavior and emotion. Don't fall victim, always think twice.

My favourite small market cap token with good potential: BPT (Blockport ERC-20 token). This token will be used on a hybrid-decentralized, social trading exchange based in Amsterdam, Europe. Beta version available this month.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: March 05, 2018, 03:33:30 PM
2018 has the biggest potential for cryptocurrency. We need to wait for market stabilization and not to panic when prices altcoins fall. I think the altcoins pump will start in mid-spring.
I think we are in BTC season and no coin (except random pump and dump coins) will "moon" right now. Let BTC do it's thing and forget about your alts for a while. There will be an alt season later, just give it a couple of weeks.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2018, 03:20:58 PM
I wouldn’t be here commenting if I don’t truly believe in cryptocurrency. Just because you cannot touch something like gold or paper money, doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent. Sadly, but that’s how most skeptics view cryptocurrencies. Too bad for them.

I'm glad that you're not a crypto skeptic, but I believe most people care about the money they think they can make off it. Lots of people claim about believing in true technology or decentralized currencies but at the end of the day money talks.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: March 05, 2018, 03:08:50 PM
Buying alts by using ETH pair is a quite good decision of such problems.
It's a good advise, but I ETH isn't so large amount for investment. Best to keep it focused on a few really good ones (that way if they do moon you'll make good profit). Otherwise you stretch yourself thin and don't really ride any of them.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: March 05, 2018, 02:35:33 PM
NEO and Ripple are my 2 picks for this year and biggest holdings. I am glad they are both doing well today and can see them continuing to go in this direction
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: March 05, 2018, 02:26:32 PM
It's getting depressing
All the blood in the streets that accompanies the daily ICX tears. Like somebody said, this smells like the time to further load my bags.
No hopeful posts on ICX, only despair and regret lately
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: March 05, 2018, 02:18:48 PM
I think so! Currently Altcoin and Token are very attractive!
2018 will be the next year so!
I'm looking forward to it because I only have Altcoin, no BTC or ETH
You are kind of freaking me out. What is it mean "no BTC or ETH"?  Huh Ethereum is one of many altcoins
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: March 05, 2018, 02:04:47 PM
Bitcoin is legal in many countries. I can say more. Most countries allow you to legally create a private currency. I can write 10 dollars on paper in marker and claim it as money. It will have no value but it's still technically money.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why 99% Alt Coin Will Fail? A Case Study on: February 26, 2018, 04:53:19 PM
99% dotcom companies failed in 1999 tech boom, however investors that had a diversified portfolio saw the $$$ overcoming all the losses on the few that have had sucess, in crypto it will be the same I belive.
I don't know the future, but if I had to guess I think it'll be slow loss of momentum as people realize that the majority of these projects are flashy websites and not much else. Cryptocurrency has utility as a CURRENCY and not a whole lot else in my opinion.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: February 26, 2018, 04:35:03 PM
I always said to myself that once my total portfolio hits a certain value I will withdraw and leave with dignity. It hit that value in December, but I couldn't sell... Next time it gets to that level, I'll withdraw it all like I said... I swear...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs on: February 26, 2018, 04:28:52 PM
Check out Skychain who are in their ICO at the moment. Skychain is a blockchain infrastructure aimed to host, train and use artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 26, 2018, 04:25:13 PM
I think, the casual crypto investor alike have a very small influence on the market. Whales can (through various methods) sway the market drastically by simply buying heavily into a project or dumping heavily. The crypto environment in theory should be relatively decentralized, however, that really isn't the case unfortunately. BTC, ETH, XRP are highly centralized, meaning a few have the power to manipulate the majority.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: February 26, 2018, 04:05:31 PM
we can't trade all amount of this amount very big-more than 100K$ by different coins together, some coins better hold, by some trade, trade is so risk if you don't know, because you may have 10 good deals and 11th will be bad and you lose all profit, better some amount hold, in my opinion the best option its have few deals per year
Yep, it always takes money to make money. Crypto is the perfect example of unregulated markets at work and what you can do with large sums of cash
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: February 26, 2018, 03:36:28 PM
I think Ethereum price will be 1200 dollar and more on two or three months later. If it will be 1200 usd it may increase 1500 usd. So we need the hold ETH Smiley
I think you are too confident. The market will experience a huge dip, all market confidence will be lost and Ethereum will never become bigger than it was in late December/early January
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: February 25, 2018, 11:31:14 PM
If you want to invest in crypto currencies, the most successful strategy will be to choose a token that you like, buy it and keep, regardless of market volatility. The long-term direction of price movement is obvious: the crypto market will grow, and most likely, the growth will be frontal in all tokens.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: February 25, 2018, 10:50:55 PM
Crypto is risky and will remain that way for awhile. The big rewards come with big risks. If you're this worried, then I would recommend spreading out the risk. Use the Ledger (or more than one), paper wallets, desktop wallets, etc. Go slow and only move a small amount to begin until you know what you're doing.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coin for investment on: February 25, 2018, 10:10:49 PM
I'm fan of NEO. They have one of the friendliest blockchains to create smart contracts and host ICOs. Also, the NEO community is well informed and very approachable when it comes to asking technical questions. The max. supply doesn't justify the price right now and I think it will boom as soon as China defines its Crypto regulations and clear some of the FUD that's going with the Asia market.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: February 25, 2018, 10:04:23 PM
I only make bounties for projects I like and invest myself, which is a way to earn as many cards you like on your investment, like ice cream on top of cake.
I'm a freebie lover too  Grin I realized that airdrops can not give a good income, than the bounty campaigns. Sometimes the amount of airdrops tokens is so small that there is no sense to withdraw their, the transaction fee is higher than its cost
