I've been trying to stake a little bit, moving my (couf) 230 cloak between my addresses.
However, the wallet says estimated time 13 hours and i have moved them around 5 times with no result.
Is this normal? i'm just trying to test if the staking works right, is this amount enough or will it go forever before staking?

you have to move coins after staking occurs. If you move before you stake then dont stake. But coins max age for staking is 8 hours, right? don't i have to move them after that time passed or will it stake anyway? Progress with PoSA3 hasn't been as quick as we'd like. There are still some sections of code left to write, especially with message handling. We are also resolving bugs as we go. The code provided by Alty was unfortunately not 'good to go'. We have also reached out to Alty, DaSource and the PoSa3 dev (via Alty) but have received nothing additional of any value. Some crazy figures (25 BTC) have been given is response to questions about PoSA3 dev answering questions, which I'm sure you'll agree is absolutely ridiculous. We were initially told that 'a few things need wiring up', but it's apparent that most of the messaging system was never finished.
There are a number of us working behind the scenes. We are currently limited to a single developer who is offering his services for free, but we will need additional developers if our plans for Cloak are to succeed. We are also currently negotiating with a trusted freelance developer. I (Cashmen) can't pay for development costs alone and would appreciate any donations towards development. Any developer fees will be paid through escrow to avoid risks.
Once again, thanks for your patience and understanding. We are as frustrated as you are (with all the days waiting for answers from previous developer that never arrived). We remain as committed as ever, and will continue to forge ahead. We will continue to provide weekly updates and additional updates when we have breaking news.
We have been discussing an intermediate release while we complete and test PoSA3 and would like to hear the community's thoughts on this.

community updateA community update is probably long overdue, so here we are...
As many of you are likely aware, we have created a new Cloak testnet have have been through several rounds of private testing. We have been doing this privately to keep things under control while we ascertain the state of Cloak.
Our initial focus has been on PoSA3 and we've been through 10 internal test releases so far. Our tests have been successful in the majority, but have led us to discover a bug in the PoSA relay system, which we are now focusing on fixing. The issue relates to an erroneous transaction that is sometimes broadcast, which in turn triggers DDoS protection as peers receive the erroneous transaction. The core functionality of PoSA3 is working well (apart from this bug) and we hope to have it resolved as soon as time allows. Once we have resolved this issue, we will move on to testing and completing OneMarket.
In terms of outstanding work, we are also in the process of wiring up the PoSA Status page, which allows a user to monitor the state of their PoSA3 transactions as they are processed by the Cloak network. Our main priority will be to continue PoSA testing to ensure the transaction broadcast issue is fixed, which will allow us to open us the Testnet to the wider community for stress testing. We are also looking to source additional development resources, which I'm sure you can appreciate isn't easy, especially when we need to keep the inner workings of the PoSA system from being leaked/stolen.

6 days since alty jumped ship and basically nothing is happening. The list is whats going to happen, not whats been happening. Also it makes no sense to have a paid audit done when cloak is at such a depressed value. They(devs) aren't committed to CLOAK, just paid workers, paid with donations.

We working hard on solution...we study the newest posa3 code + we looking for finding/funding additional dev who can help our dev to finish the code = posa3 + one market. X11joe is still in business trip as i know so if he come back i hope he will support our work aswell!

Cloak - Next StepsWe have created updated Windows and Linux builds for internal testing and to ascertain exactly what work is outstanding. Our current focus is private PoSA3 testing, which is going well so far.
Here are the current plans for the future:
1. Developers will perform a preliminary audit of PoSA3 and One Market to determine any outstanding functionality, bugs or issues.
2. Private TestNet testing of PoSA3 and One Market. Cloak 'bag-holders' will be invited to participate in this process.
3. Developers will finish any outstanding work and resolve any bugs.
4. PoSA3 will be externally audited by a legitimate and proven crypto-security expert (chosen by the Cloak community).
As Alty is no longer involved in Cloak, we are hoping to fund the ongoing development with donations.
