@DarkStar_ :

You might want to recommend to your borrowers to switch to TALK[img] Talk with Images™ so that their images won't disappear after a few days.

Images have been disappearing across the Forum this week at an alarming rate.

Please sir it was all one silly mistake I did in transferring the usdt. I actually sent it to my address I used in receiving the loan instead of your own repayment address but at knowing the error, I have sent another repayment of 17$ to the real repayment address of yours and here is the
trx id: Internal transfer 136941877320

Here is the precious reply of Imgur.

All you have done is link to your own post in another thread which links back to this thread.

Are you trying to gain merits from this?

@joker_josue

Have fixed up the colour in this link:

I have submitted an application to binance $1 billion fund to carve out little funding for this coin. To put it back on track. To keep it vibrant. Need to establish a couple things first before giving you guys money. There needs to be a spending proposal by the community and a concise roadmap with milestones for quick evaluation before we can move up with this.

Interesting proposal.

We're over at Discord and Slack if you'd like to come across and make your case there.
725  Other / Meta / Re: Restrict newbies from posting in the lending board? on: May 13, 2023, 11:03:56 PM
(*) Timelord2067 would set his to: exclude($memberRank < 3), because that's how he wants it to work (even more restrictive, only wants to see posts from "Members" and above on the lending board).

Someone would have to walk me through how to do that, but the issue DireWolfM14 raises is newbies are total unknowns and as such are more likely to walk off with funds acquired in a loan than a user who has climbed the ranks through posting thoughtful posts that along the way are merited.  Lenders facilitating loans can see their posts and get a feel for the application whereas newbies don't have any credibility at all and therefore shouldn't apply for a loan.

Fiat banks don't give loans to children.  Street lenders (*cough* sharks) likewise wouldn't lend to children (not without collateral I would imagine).

Blocking newbies from my view isn't what I'm hoping to achieve in my support of what DireWolfM14 is proposing, it's blocking newbies from being in the lending section totally.

From recollection Owlcatz is next on the recipient list, so I'll be in touch in another week or so and can either forward to minerjones or send directly as need be.

Sounds good man, glad it made it there intact! Hit me up when ready, you can send direct it will be faster. Wink

Will do - IIRC you're on Keybase?
727  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 12, 2023, 10:10:30 AM
Wild idea: I'm downloading Imgur images that stopped working. How cool would it be if theymos can update all imgur.com links to talkimg.com?

Slight problem: I've downloaded 398 images so far, and it takes 92 MB. I don't know the exact number yet, but it looks like there are about 800k images in total. So give or take 200 GB

Given they are legacy images, downsize them to <100Kb each.  Might save some space for desert.
728  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 12, 2023, 09:57:15 AM
Just a small suggestion - would it be possible to have a "go up a level" button, or "home/directory" button to get out of an image folder, please?

I didn't understand the suggestion. Can you explain better, please?

I've created three directories A, B and C to split my images into three categories, Rugby, Known alts and others stuff.  (None are sub-directories of any of the other two)  If I go into any of these three directories I am no longer able to see the three directories and there is no directory tree to take me back to the page that shows all three directories.

This is what's know as taking a bet each way:

I'm getting in early with bets on the "underdogs of round eleven"

Penrith Panthers - Sydney Roosters 12 May 2023 20:00 Money Line Sydney Roosters @ 2.46 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.123 mBTC

I'm going with the Panthers for tonight's game but the two teams are evenly matched, so the Rooster's could well keep the faltering Panthers from winning. The Panthers need this morale booster win.

Canterbury Bulldogs - New Zealand Warriors 12 May 2023 18:00 Money Line New Zealand Warriors @ 1.68 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.084 mBTC

Kick off is in a few minutes.  The money is on the Panthers, however, my money from last week is on the Roosters.  I guess we'll find out in a couple of hours who is right.

In the earlier game, Auckland won comfortably 24 - 12 against the lackluster Bulldogs.

Now Nathan Cleary knows how to kick a ball:

It isn't looking to good for the Roosters:

Just giving everyone the heads up of a new tool for the Forum at large:

Basically, as a means to preserve images uploaded will be able to be viewed in twenty years, not twenty weeks as is the case with some image upload serves already in place.

I'm going to tryout the screen grab tool over the weekend - can the grab take the whole window spilling off of the screen?

Also, can height/width be set to take just a specific part of the page?

And perhaps a mini text signature that can be placed in the post

e.g.

TALK[img] Talk with Images™

Code:

The Star Casino(s) Group are the major sponsor of the Broncos with a Casino in both Brisbane and on the Gold Coast as well as Sydney. The sports bar on the Gold Coast had the game on the main screen yet the numbers watching weren't very large.  All high tables were full, but there wasn't anyone standing watching the game which I've seen in the past.

As to the game, the Storm have won the previous thirteen games on home soil against the Broncos so they had the statistical advantage and backed it up with a tough nearly sixty minutes of game play keeping the score to ten points a side.  From the start the Storm's attack and defence edged out compared to the Broncos having a no try early on while both teams kicker missed critical conversions.

The Broncos fell to ten points behind then it became a matter of stalling with multiple scuffles burning down the final ten minutes.

I'm getting in early with bets on the "underdogs of round eleven"

South Sydney Rabbitohs - Wests Tigers 13 May 2023 15:00 Money Line Wests Tigers @ 5.43 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.272 mBTC
Canberra Raiders - Parramatta Eels 13 May 2023 19:35 Money Line Canberra Raiders @ 2.37 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.119 mBTC
Melbourne Storm - Brisbane Broncos 11 May 2023 19:50 Money Line Brisbane Broncos @ 2.11 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.106 mBTC
Penrith Panthers - Sydney Roosters 12 May 2023 20:00 Money Line Sydney Roosters @ 2.46 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.123 mBTC

If the Tigers win this weekend then their price will drop considerably for next week-ends game against the Rabbitohs (who are firming as a solid top four finishers this year)

North Queensland Cowboys - St George/Illawarra Dragons 13 May 2023 17:30 Money Line North Queensland Cowboys @ 1.43 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.072 mBTC
Newcastle Knights - Gold Coast Titans 14 May 2023 14:00 Money Line Gold Coast Titans @ 2.11 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.106 mBTC

At the start of round eleven, for the first time the Rabbitohs are firm favourites to win with the most money being placed on them at TAB.com.au

NSFW means inclusion and acceptance of others.

Book has now been received after a brief spin inside a vortex courtesy of the delivery people.

The first of two pages has been done and the book will be dropped off sometime over the weekend for the second artist to draw from their craft.

Each of the artists has brought skills to the work with one in particular doing something along the lines of what I would have done had I been contributing.

From recollection Owlcatz is next on the recipient list, so I'll be in touch in another week or so and can either forward to minerjones or send directly as need be.
735  Other / Meta / Re: Restrict newbies from posting in the lending board? on: May 11, 2023, 06:01:32 AM
OP could then go into his "Post Filtering" settings and under "Marketplace -> Lending" could enter an expression like: exclude($memberRank < 2) (where 0 == "Brand New", 1 == "Newbie", 2 == "Jr. Member", etc).
I've seen similar suggestions before. Why not make use of the self-moderation feature? It could even be maintained by a user bot.

I have no skills creating code.

How does the above prevent newbies creating their own threads seeking loans?  From what I can tell, my own recollection is that most newbies in recent times are asking for loans without providing collateral or with goods that are not crypto related which is contrary to the "unofficial" (wink wink they are official when we want them to be wink wink) rules contained in threads pinned to this section with titles such as "no collateral = no loan" or words to that effect.

These rules aren't enforced by the admin/mods, so either we get admin/mods who do enforce the rules, OR, we change the rules by banning the newbies and Jr Members.

Until then, newbies and jr members will continue to receive negative trust feedbacks and flags as appropriate.

Interesting replies, thank all for your input. It seems fairly straight forward now as to what will happen if I choose to delete posts. Tongue

Apart from the fact all of your posts are archived by third party sites, the negative trust feedbacks and flag(s) that you have amassed will always remain.

The same goes for your alts.

Your death threat against DireWolfM14 has been archived too.

Oh for fuck's sake,

I wouldn't worry too much - by his own admission he's only got one anyway...

This is just like few years ago when the various scammers started nonsensical threads about me and some of the DT Trolls decided to jump on the paranoia band wagon.  It passes.

Next week the scammers will find someone else who has uncovered their scamming to collectively Troll.

Don't let it get to you - hit the ignore button.

You're welcome.

I'll have dig around and see what they need to connect.

Awesome, tyvm.  Let me know if there is anything I can do!

Apologies for the delay.

https://delta.app/ Delta App allows you to track the price if fiat stocks and crypto prices and can choose from an array of sites.

Don't know if there is a fee to list, but it would help spread the word for your site.

About your channels, you should probably try to check the closing TxID, if you already have one and check it with a block explorer!

Zap doesn't provide that information otherwise I would have used the accelerator services (free ones) to accelerate the TX.

Each time I close Zap and restart it, the two channels revert to open, not closing so it doesn't appear as though a true closure has occurred.

Thanks for the channel links suggestion, I'll check them out.
