I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

I remember the surging popularity of the “Back to the Future” movie. We were just kids then and could only have imagined about such wonders of technology. This is all reality today. How could we have known 20 years ago, that the power of the computer could eventually fit into a hand sized gadget? That push-button phones would be gone forever from our lives and it would be possible to play computer games «without hands», but by using virtual reality glasses?

Yes, progress does not stand still, but does it develop in the right direction? What can we truly expect for the 21st century? You must agree: the current technological development, for the most part, is aimed at catching the «HYPE». New models of “iPhone” are being released; «smart» houses are being built; it is quite possible that in a couple of decades, cars will soar through the air, as in the above-mentioned film.

But what is the benefit of the new “iPhone” for the father, who works several shifts so as to feed his family? Will the prospect of the future like living in a «smart house» be interesting for the mother if presently she does not have the means to pay off bills for her housing? And most importantly: will our children survive to even drive a flying car, taking into account the ecological crisis and cosmic prices for medicines?


Let’s be honest: in today’s society, only humanity can surprise us. We completely forgot that a person should be more important than technology. In the first place should be his needs.
 The current situation of the economy, and society as a whole, very well reveals this. For example, Kate Raworth in her book, “Doughnut Economics,” touches very important questions and suggests changing our picture of what the economy is and how it works.
 The aim of economic activity, she argues, should be “meeting the needs of all within the means of the planet”. Instead of economies that need to grow, whether or not they make us thrive, we need economies that “make us thrive, whether or not they grow”.

Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

A couple days ago I transfered enough from my bank account to buy 1 Bit coin.  While waiting for the $ to make it from the bank to the exchange I had $75.00 invested so could use it to practice with.  Keep in mind that I had no experience with bit coin trading and my past day trading did not go well.

Today I saw that SC (Siacoin) was above 10% and volume was above 10,000.  It was also very active pumping up and down.  I did four buy and sell trades, not aiming for much more than 5% profit on each one and increased my $75.00 to $91.00.  It was a great leaning experience.  Also very humbling because on the first trade I made a mistake and lucked out.

Bitcoin with it's high fees and slow transaction times is hardly suitable for payments – spending the same fee whether you buy a coffee or send $100,000 is a joke and the promise of scaling solutions such as the Lightning Network hasn’t been fulfilled.[1]

While there's no shortage of old and new believers to keep the party going, along with plenty of developers working to create better, forked versions of bitcoin, I’m betting my chips on a more flexible alternative.
The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum,[2] bitcoincash, litecoin and more......
