81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What Is Best Course Of Action? on: August 05, 2020, 08:37:58 PM
Just a question to ask for advice. Right now with all the markets they way they are. Bitcoin is always in the upward in the market.  Of course it has periods of going down. But crypto market is doing quite well in these times.

I am asking what is the best course of action?

Should I just keep buying and HODL and keeping my Bitcoin for a rainy day?

Or is trading is back and forth to stable coins and trying to make more gains a good action plan too?

Need suggestions and advice. thanks
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pension Fund - Thoughts? on: August 01, 2020, 09:15:41 PM
thanks everyone for your feedback, yes many things that could be on this. pensions are a touch subject. However the case of fiat could be going flat for some, pensions are at risk though. Maybe i should look at different idea for a crypto project.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto Pension Fund - Thoughts? on: August 01, 2020, 04:38:11 PM
Came up with this concept of a Bitcoin/Crypto backed world pension fund.

Here I think this could work? look this over and give your feedback, suggestions, comments.

Crypto Pension Fund.
As this concept may already exist.  In some form or another.

The problem the present pension systems have so far are that they are only available to people with access to money and who are working.

I would like to see a pension fund system. That we will build from the ground up. Meaning funding will start from the bottom as well.

This fund will be intended for people who live in countries that do not have a system at all. Or no access to a private system at all.

Such ideal places be for people who live in some countries in Africa that have high inflation.
Bitcoin allows access to funds to anyone and everyone.
We do not have to get permission from bank or 3rd party to transfer funds to anyone in the world.

Our fund will be backed by Bitcoin. People can fund their accounts with any currency. We will have access to an exchange service. Therefore people will be able to use any crypto they wish to fund their accounts.

We will have the return in a few major cryptocurrencies. Such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and other currencies. Which at this time is not determined.

Of course with different countries around the world. There are many different rates of inflation for everyone. Now with this fund. This allows anyone have access to the fund.

As I am labelling this as a pension fund. This may not necessary be a pension for some time. Will take time to get funded and attention by other people.

However this is something that would function on the global scale.
As to the ways you can have access to the pension. The determination on that is not known yet. In some countries, it is determined by age and years of service.
Since this is more of a private fund. The requirements will be different.

Now even when the fund starts to get to some people in time. It may be small. Which all determines how much people are able to pay into. How long you can pay in to. Etc.

This factors will be determined in the future.

Now some countries may have a monthly salary of $0.77 USD a month. which can be seen as low.

For now well at least in situation like that. A person could get a pension of $0.25 a month. Maybe which would be better then nothing. Of course over time that pension fund be better. In fact if the funding goes well.

This pension fund could pay out better then some monthly salaries in some countries.
What do you think of this idea so far?
What types of places should a pension fund be accessible?
What type of requirements do you think would work for someone to get a pension paid to them?
Do you think there is a need for a pension fund to low income countries and people in the world?

Do you think a global funded pension is good idea?

I want to hear your feedback on this. As this will help plan this out. More feedback the better. Look forward to your thoughts.

86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What Money System Worked? on: February 02, 2020, 01:26:56 PM
I know this is not exactly in relation to Bitcoin. I may be in the wrong forum.
Considering with all the failures of the money systems in the past. That only benefit the government and wealthy.
I know there were systems that did benefit the people. At least were more systems that offered a fairer playing field. I know those systems did get shot down by the "powers that be"

What systems, would you all know of, that did work or could have worked better in the past? More less the non digital era of anything more less?
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / New Body Of Control? on: January 26, 2020, 07:57:00 PM
If we were to go to a 100% bitcoin currency system. The banks and governments would loose control of whole financial system. The present governments would loose control.

Therefore a new system would be needed to run each country. What do you think would be the new body of control?
How could this work?
What type of system would be put in place on this.?
I don't think the people can control themselves as too many minds and ideas of where things can go in a direction. Therefore you still need a council or kingdom of control.

your thoughts.

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coins or Utility Tokens? on: December 25, 2019, 12:49:10 AM
At present time in the crypto space. Yes there are more and more projects coming up every day. New coins and tokens. What would you rather see more of this time that be more useful to you?

Coin or a Utility token that can be earned by doing something else?

Why do you think a Coin is what you want to see?

Or Why would you want to see more Token projects?

or why you would not want to see either of both

Tell us your reasons why. this be neat
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 24, 2019, 03:54:48 AM
As the state of economy does at times really influence levels of crime and social aspects in any community.

Right now under the fiat system there is a major and growing sides of rich and poor.
With many times people who are "without" getting into trouble. Such as committing crimes. Getting into substance abuse etc.

If society or at least communities are able to become more independent and based their markets all on crypto. In which they follow the principles of crypto? as in prevent inflation and create an equal or at least more fair financial market. If that was the case/

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?

94  Other / Off-topic / Re: Less People To Save Earth on: December 09, 2019, 08:36:50 PM
in general they are not doing a good job at it so far lol
95  Other / Off-topic / Less People To Save Earth on: December 09, 2019, 05:59:28 PM
What are your thoughts on This Statement?

"less people to save earth"

with the ongoing environment issues.

all of this is caused by the present over population of the earth

one example there are over a billion people who live on coastal regions that depends on sea life for food. That is a lot of sea life just to feed some human.

How is that sustainable. It is not!!

truth is, we really need to shrink the world population. It is the only way for the human species to survive.  Too many people and it will all implode on itself.

This may sounds cruel, but it is the truth.

How many of you out there agree there are too many people and not enough resources to sustain current population model?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 06, 2019, 07:25:11 PM
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

your thoughts

100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Friends of Satoshi on: December 01, 2019, 01:32:03 AM
The think of the mystery is everyone just keeps focusing on Satoshi and who that might be.
No one is really searching for people who may have known that person or persons.

There are several people out there. Who do know who Satoshi is and did talk to him at least. Why are we not focusing on those people? the friends?
