Are you able to make the % gained reflect Bitcoin price?  I can see the bitcoin prices when changing but not the proper % change.

There may be a delay with some of the statistics at times due to how everything is pulled and displayed.  It should be fairly accurate though.

Hi !
It would be nice to add tools for analysis of graphics like on the website www.tradingview.com that you can do the analysis on your website .  I think such a decision will attract quite a lot of traders . We need to take the best ideas !)

That's a great suggestion!  Thanks!  We will look into it.

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Nicehash and Monero a bad idea for new miners? on: February 09, 2018, 06:46:11 AM
Nicehash is still the easiest method for newbies to get BTC and the payout is higher in USD than mining Monero.

What are your rates ?

Negotiable depending on the subject matter and length of the advertisement.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is 1 bitcoin worth? on: January 29, 2018, 10:17:09 PM
I use these sites to follow BTC and main altcoins prices and find them very handy:

https://bitcoinwisdom.com
https://cryptowat.ch
https://coinmarketcap.com

If you need to know in some other currency - you can always convert and check the rate at https://currencio.co

Don't forget https://coincaps.net

The correct answer is that 1 Bitcoin is worth what someone will give you for it.  Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 29, 2018, 04:16:10 PM
Too many people's investment strategy is to buy crap for cheap and sell it for more to someone else. If you do not believe that someday the token will create profits greater than their market cap then you are investing with the hope of finding someone more naive than you to purchase it from you in the future. This is called the greater fool theory. Do not do this.

Hello checked out your site on Virustotal   http://prntscr.com/i5y1p0 I think it should be correct
Also missing the certificate of a secure site  ...
It is necessary to correct this situation . With best wishes

Thank you for bringing this to our attention as it only effected certain browsers. It has been corrected.

Does this means we are joining some kind of bounty campaign if we wear one of the signature?

No. Maybe if a stable advertiser is found a signature campaign could be a possibility.

Basically, what I meant was that it felt so zoomed in that it felt like how a responsive site would look on a mobile device, which is not particularly good for a desktop that can display more information at once.

Understandable. The main focus of the site is the list of market caps. Everything else is extra and we didn't feel like those options need to be highlighted in a way that takes away from the actual data people want to see. It is also designed in a way that the desktop and mobile sites are very similar, so you don't lose the familiar experience depending on which device you're on. Everyone has their own opinion what is best though, and yours will be reflected upon while discussing future updates. Thank you for sharing.

I like that this could potentially serve as an alternative to CoinMarketCap, as I have yet to see a site that comes close to its functionality. I do have a few words of advice I would like to give, however. I am no design expert, but the scaling on the website seems slight "off". It seems, at least to me, that all of the text, buttons, and textboxes are unusually big or are occupying too much space. Furthermore, it also feels like you are browsing a mobile website even when you are on a desktop computer. For example, the menu options to the top left are something straight out of a mobile website. There is already way too much empty space in the page, in my opinion. You could use the top navigation bar to put the links to the different parts of the website that are currently accessible from that menu.

Additionally, another reason I use CoinMarketCap is because of its well-documented API. Are you planning to release a public API to compete with theirs? A lot of online and mobile applications depend on data from CMC's API, as there is a huge developer market for a central API to use for all cryptocurrencies.

Did you go past the home screen? It seems like you're only describing the landing page. It is setup to display differently on mobile devices than on desktops.

There are no plans to offer an API at this point. Yours is the first request for it. It will be something we discuss after the next update is completed.

Generally I use CMC, but I also need different alternatives. I like the project. It's opening fast for the moment. But I did not find many altcoins that I followed.

If there were issuers that wanted their coin listed or enough users wanted to see a certain coin, it could be added in the future as more coins are being added regularly.

And why not the search form at the top?

Once I've added all the coins I want to follow in the search bar, I no longer want to see the search bar at the top.  The list of coins should be the main focus.

CoinCaps.net has partnered with NastyMining!
We hope to provide support for NastyFans seats soon and have already begun assimilating NastyFans services into the site.

It is convenient that there is data for 7 days, but it is a pity that a small number of coins.

More coins added constantly! Leave your recommendations in this thread for new coins to support in the future.

19  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Wanting to sell my 2 Funded Casascius physical coins V1 and V2 on: December 31, 2017, 08:03:25 PM
The current peel value of a 1 BTC Casascius coin is more than 1.22 BTC.

Here is an easy tool to check:
https://bitcore.cc/checker.php

This tool doesn't include all the forks/clams/etc or the amount would be higher. It credits the Bitcoin Diamond at 1:1 when it should be 10:1 so you have to multiply the Bitcoin Diamond amount listed by 10 to get an accurate calculation. You might also keep in mind that the Segwit2x fork is right around the corner with a current futures value of $270 each.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which cryptocurrency will be the most profitable for 2018? Poll on: December 31, 2017, 03:08:43 AM
I don't think that any of those listed will be in the top 5.
