Speculation:
An LMB -> Havelock transfer exploit was found, a user (presumably BTCApples, check the other thread) exploited it and sold it for a small amount at the time (2.8 mBTC/share). A little while later, the Troll accounts were causing the people to panic sell. They succeed.
Of course, whether TAT's fault or not, TAT was the person responsible for LMB -> Havelock transfers so he wanted to jump ship before he gets into legal (or more legal) trouble.
In the meantime, users (such as presumably BTCApples, (once again, check the other thread) and others) were stocking up on cheap shares.
All of this combines, left NEO no choice but to halt trading and launch an investigation.
Once again, this is just my speculation due to the info I was gathered over the few days. Thoughts?

I knew Danny personally even before NEO even got it's name - back when it was just an idea. I will not comment on his financial situation at the time as it is private information but I can assure you (by 'you' I don't mean source101 but to the people who believe him) that he wasn't poor.
'not poor' like 6 million means nothing and NEOBEE is just a game 'not poor'? His private financial life is not mine or anyone else's concern. I was vague on purpose on my last post. No, now you're specifically introducing motivating factors which we as investors deserve to know. What's his 'skin in the game'? If I'm just playing with an idea and stick a few hundred into it, I don't really care if it fails. If I throw most of my bank balance into something, I'll work my fingers to the bone to make sure it works out. Furthermore, this is not the sort of thing you expect of someone running a bank before they sit before a parliamentary committee (from his twitter account on 18th March 2014): "At parliament for the discussion on #bitcoin this is no Westminster but just as much sin has taken place in here" Is that really professional? Are we dealing with a real business that wants to 'make it' and change our world, or just some idle plaything for a slightly dumb rich kid? Imitating what other 'bankers' do is not a playing factor. Plus, you obviously don't know Cyprus. Half the people in parliament are on their phones at any given time anyway (unless there are cameras present, of course) |

A: According to the Cyprus Mail interview, yes. He has. But what about the money? Well, Danny was into Bitcoin and a believer for years now (which included mining them back in the day before ASICS) - hope that answers your doubts
How much clearer does it need to be made. Prior to neo bee, Danny had NOTHING. No money, nothing. He went to Cyprus with a suitcase, the borrowed money left right and centre to get by. I am amazed and I am disgusted by the web of stories he has come up with and he sure has some answering to do. The only people right now that know what's going on is him and he is silent on it. I am still wounding why no one has questioned why it was not Danny who fronted the TV interview seeing as though he has been the main front face of neo bee.
I can answer that he is not the Danny Brewster that died. Prior to Cyprus he lived in Doncastor, UK and his family are from Manton UK. The Mr Brewster I knew prior to Neo Bee makes it very hard to believe that he came up with this money to begin with as he went to Cyprus with a suitcase.
I am just shocked that you, as investors, have legit questions that are being left unanswered. People are justifying this by saying it should not answer to internet 'trolls'. Well what about answering to those who have money invested? Answering the claims that have been made, why the sudden silence? Would you not think that he would come out deny these things if he had nothing to hide?
No, he has media out the front of his house and is going back home with his tail between his legs because his company 'is not doing as well as he thought it would.

Final question, has anyone picked up the phone or gone into the office and spoken with Danny himself and asked what is going on. Why have you not reported to us, your shareholders? Can you please explain as you share holders are asking questions.
I am guessing no. Most likely he is not there. He and his fiancé have gone on social media silence while they get ready to fly out this coming Monday.

Guys sorry to say so but the NEO guy at 60 minutes now is quite rubbish (he just said that now you can buy nothing with bitcoin)
..which is absurd. If you don't like having bitcoin, you can buy NeoBee shares. If you were fortunate enough to buy in a month ago, you only need to worry about spending half as much as you used to. Problem solved the guy gives all the explanations about neo & bee looks like noone is running away I didn't want to be rude, its just that he is not an A. Antonopoulos Michael is a great guy, perhaps he should have been a little bit more on the offence, seemed like the old guy was hogging all the time. And he didn't say "Now you can buy nothing with bitcoin" he said "Now you can buy nothing with Bitcoin in Cyprus.....we want to make sure that our services are 100% secure..." and then he basically he suggested that he doesn't want to make NEO the next Mt Gox in the department of security |

I have been given information which is extremely close to Danny himself. I have zero financial interests with bitcoin, never have. I know that he went to Cyprus with nothing else but his fiancée to follow his daughter. He worked security at nightclubs around the Doncaster UK area prior to Cyprus, which makes it hard to believe where this money comes from. Yes, new account, never been a member here. I am posting for those who have been sucked into this "too good to be true" investment. Danny is leaving along with partner and his belongings and running. Decide what you wish to do next from this information but think of the facts.
Someone who posts several times a day on twitter has stopped since 18th march.
Has not answered anyone's questions
People are starting to ask what is going on and not getting answers.
I wish people the best and hope they have not lost too much with this venture. Chalk it down as experience. Danny will have it as another company that he has failed to get off the ground. That boy has champagne taste on beer experience.
And that is why the ignore button doesn't work. If you have newbies coming into this investment, you need people to point out how bullshit this is. At least make an attempt! This person is using elements of truth (ie how Danny came to Cyprus, and how he hasn't posted on his twitter etc.) together with fabricated lies (Danny leaving) to make the fabricated part more plausible. Fact: If you had zero financial interest, you won't be here. In fact, you have big financial interests to make the stocks crash so you can buy cheap. People, don't accept so called 'facts' that are not supported by evidence. |

Not all scams are short cons, where the operator grabs the money and runs. Those are dumb scams, run by short-sighted goofballs who eventually wind up in prison.
A good scam, OTOH, is *indistinguishable from a failed business when it winds down*. It's designed that way. It takes longer, requires more planning, and the take is only a persentage of the gross money raised, but the operator has *nothing to worry about from teh law*.
Why must this be constantly repeated?
He has a solid business plan and NEO will bring it a lot of profit, so why turn it into a scam if it is gonna make money anyway? (Greater money than if it was 'just a scam' |
