  I've noticed that the volumes of bitcoin trading, they are the same as in November 2017, when the price were in the range of 6-8.2k, and there were no "tothemoon".

What could change the situation? It could be a radical change on the market, and here I see two scenarios:

1) the worldwide legalization of the cryptocurrency and the expansion of the possibilities for its use, like, everyone has in his pocket telegram with gram pays or LN and use them as simply as apple pay, pay pass etc. There are also normal exchanges in two clicks with a low commission.

2) some kind of cardinal global changes that will force people to immediately invest money into the crypto, massively, and a real example is the new sanctions against Iran as a result of which the Iranians will begin to buy up BTCBTCBTC , because there is simply no other option to keep money, sanctions may be implemented against the Russian Federation and China, will turn off the swift transfers and destabilize the banking system.

   Considering how the world is not stable today, the second scenario seems more likely to be truth, the first one needs much more time and without pushing up  it will not be realized. Your opinion, guys?

The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  . Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity .

I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

There is an important field in coinmarketcap "bitcoin dominance" most people really look at it. Last year when bitcoin was rising to its peak,,its dominance was over 50%. The implication? Bitcoin was gaining value against most altcoins except some few.

During that period lots of altcoins value went down to almost zero, even some top 20 altcoin lost ground. Some are languishing in the lower half of coinmarketcap.

But as time went on in early 2018 the tide changed a bit, Bitcoin dominance went to as low as 36%. Bitcoin dominance have started growing again.

From all indication, it could hit above 50%, even 60%. This time around a lot more altcoins will loose most of their values to near zero, once Bitcoin ETF is approved bringing an explosive influx of institutional investors who will focus more on Bitcoin and avoid a larger part of altcoins even some in the top 10.

You have two choices to make;

1. Hold more of Bitcoin right now, and a few altcoins that have values that institutional investors can not ignore. It's a Herculean task to find these few coins, because even coins in the top ten will not be spared.

2. Hold Bitcoin alone until the coast become clear in a later date. There is this FOMO of seeing some coins going up and jumping into it. If you don't know how to play the game, don't get in.

 I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.
