XTB does have a nice ring to it actually.
Easy to remember and swish over to from XBT, once Bitcore takes over, heh.
Really close to BTX as well, BTX written in reverse even.

Right up your alley Vlad, anagrams, hidden meanings and mystery puzzles Wink

I think XTB is good to remember.

This coin needs more and better marketing, more exchanges, etc.

What is your price predictions for Bitcore (BTX) in 2018::::?

I think around $100
....

Looking at the dogs with $20+ billion caps...

Minimum $5,000.   Grin

$5000 for 1 Bitcore?!

Bitcore is faster than Bitcoin and has its own blockchain + it's even rare.

Hell yeah, if this happens.

Never sell all your Bitcore.

I think good times are going to happen, once

the airdrops are finished.

Bitcoin has its own blockchain and is just as rare.   Roll Eyes

BTX has better distribution, much more capacity, much faster, much more decentralized mining/security, and can innovate much faster than BTC and they also have their own funding so they won’t be beholden to banks/corporations to grow and innovate.

It’s all around a much better payment system than BTC.

Just look at this:

Bitcore:
Maximal Supply: 21 million coins
Maximal Blocksize: 10 MB (20 MB SegWit)
Blocktime: 2.5 minutes
Blockchain: own blockchain (NOT a fork!)

Blockchain Size: ca. 400 MB
Mining Algorithm: timetravel10 (GPU)
Difficulty Algorithm: smooth Diff64_15: 15%, 3 hours
Distribution: airdrops, claiming via snapshot (for BTC holders), mining
Maximal transactions per day: ca. 48 million
SegWit: yes
Replay Protection: not necessary

Bitcoin:
Maximal Supply: 21 million coins
Maximal Blocksize: 1 MB (2 - 4 MB SegWit)
Blocktime: 10 minutes
Blockchain: own blockchain (NOT a fork!)

Blockchain Size: ca. 145 GB
Mining Algorithm: sha256 (ASIC)
Difficulty Algorithm: standard BTC: 400%, 2 weeks
Distribution: mining
Maximal transactions per day: ca. 1.2 million
SegWit: yes
Replay Protection: not necessary

Bitcore = 48 / 1,2 = 40 times faster than Bitcoin!

I think Bitcore is too cheap right now.

The community is growing, there are active developers.
Guys,
I think instead of focusing on the price, we should focus on the technicality and great features of this project. Rest will come into place anyway. BTC was unknown in the beginning and now see where it is headed. BTX will do the same. You just have to wait and support it. Trust the Force Smiley We can not be millionaire overnight . It takes patience and perseverance.

Holders will get their profit ))

Blockchain is much more popular than in 2009.
So I think that Bitcore becomes faster popular than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin: 2009 -> 2017 = 8 years.
Bitcore faster than 8 years (2017 -> 2018, 2019)?

CMC has been correct this entire time.  Those coins waiting to get dumped do not count as circulating. Bothering them with endless tweets and messages accomplishes nothing but annoyance.

Correct.

All the menstruating vaginas need to chill and just enjoy the cheap accumulation.  Don’t hurry to cut yourselves short.

I think Bitcore has the potential to become a concurrent of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was unknown too in 2009.

Mini Announcement: Signature Campaign Update

Dear community,

Due to popular request we decided to open up 6 spots for bitcointalk users with rank Member.

We also would like any signature campaign participants to wear our promo-text below their avatar.

To avoid any volatility in payouts, we changed the model to pay a certain amount of BTX relative to a fixed USD amount.
If you already joined the campaign, your first two weeks will still be paid by the old model.

Thank you,
your Bitcore team

Special thanks to Hhampuz who has been doing a fantastic job in mainting this campaign so far.
PLEASE NOTE: The signature thread is currently being updated. Spots will be available soon. Please be patient.

What do you mean with a fixed USD amount?

Bitcore devs don't understand how critical is this cmc fact. They are ruining us..

You don’t understand how critical it is to let things happen organically.

Well said!

People, please do your research before complaining about cmc nor the dev team!

CMC is not biased toward other coins (no conspiracy theory please), they are neutral!
If they start to accept "pay for play" money from altcoins, they will lose all their credibility and their site will soon become not reliable in the space.

As I said earlier a few times, they use the public float accounting method to calculate the market cap of a coin.

Now stop talking about cmc and please move on!

If they use float accounting method then why don't they do it for BCH, BTG..?

Why every thing is against bitcore..?  The airdroped coins to bitcoin addresses are no longer in control of devs they know it.. Yet they are not correcting the circulating numbers.. They are absolutely biased..

I find this really annoying.

Another Fork has just come out - Super Bitcoin... Their marketing strategy is amazing.. Look at their websites...

Bitcore is great among all but weak in marketing..
However  It has also advantage too... I will get airdrop (free coins) longer if no coin is claimed ..  Cheesy

Start Branding, Marketing or Whatever ;just do it after next 6 months... Let me accumulate thousands of BTX...  Grin

Another "scam" Bitcoin fork created by a small group of developers that only see an opportunity to become millionaires overnight!

These forks do no good to the overall crypto space and quite honestly start to becoming a joke!

That's why I think that Bitcore should be at $250 (right now) and not things like Super Bitcoin that are only a lazy hard fork + a website.

Thank you devs!  Grin

I think Bitcore is more valuable than Bitcoin Gold / Bitcoin Cash (only 21 million max.).

I'll keep my money as far as possible from this project.

just on the basis of claiming to "Fork" bitcoin, but then taking all "unclaimed" BTX (like Satoshi's on his BTC) and splitting among people who truly didn't own them.

seeing as you technically already STOLE my BTX in november, why would I ever involve myself in this.

I will be warning everybody to stay away from this.

good luck ever getting listed on a big exchange.

What a bullshit.

~snip

Nice list, thanks!

The reason we expect the funds to possibly end even earlier is because if more people become interested in Bitcore and more BTX are registered for the airdrop, the airdrop address would be depleted faster.

@ QB Horse Thanks for your input: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.msg26378817#msg26378817
The declining airdrop model also offers some interesting possibilities.

We still reserve the right to change the current distribution model. We are discussing the best way for a sustainable Bitcore project.
If any concusions are made, we will let the community know asap.
Right now the current model remains.

Can we expect more marketing soon?

Without giving specifics I can say we are working on a complete marketing plan. This takes time and we also want to be sure to have the right timing.

Thank you for your answer!  Smiley

Hey folks,

I just made a small spreadsheet with my Airdrop end date prediction based on the current history and model of the Airdrop.
This is obviously not 100% correct but it gives me at least a better view of how it all might unfold.

Just saw this website

http://pieifo.com/pages/endefault.html

it shows upcoming forks and also some airdrops. About the Airdrop section though, when you click on it you'll see that it has bitcore, it it is listed as a "scam". IMO, this is total bullshit, why has bitcore got such a bad name? coinmarketcap being dicks and now this. Really shits me.

maybe devs can email them to try to explain why this isn't a scam.

Yes, agree. Better they correct this.

Pieifo did not do thier homework correct. They claim to be all about hardware forks. BTX is a software fork and they have no right to mention BTX nor call it a scam.

For claiming need to transfer BTC first to other adress then give private key on snapshot date. How else should you clain that it was your adress on that date ...

Wow, i was not aware there are so many forks on the agenda. Come on, serious Bitcoin pizza?  Cheesy Just more reason to take BTX serious.

Indeed.
