641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leah McGrath Goodman offers more details on conversation with Dorian S. Nakamoto on: March 07, 2014, 07:54:19 PM
Dorian may have been unfamiliar with the term "bitcoin" but assumed that the reporter was using it as a reference to some other classified work.

2-bit guy now claims that foundation members had inside info and were able to get their money out while everyone else got screwed. He is threatening to release info on Monday. Interesting.

any bad news, or are we going down because low price going slightly lower is scary?
180,000 gox coins moving around

They are being divided up into smaller and smaller wallets until they reach the approximate value of a single frappuccino.

Then, he will be able to quickly purchase millions of frappuccinos ... one quick booster shot at a time.

It's the perfect money laundering scheme.

https://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/btc/usd/bitstamp/10-days

Why is the total bid sum different? Does Stamp have multiple API, spitting out conflicting data?

nop, it's cryptocoinchart system which sucks

Ok, so which one is accurate? The first link looks comparable to what bitcoinity reports.

Imagine all these coins hitting an exchange in 1 day and you get April 11, 2013.

Would be far worse than April 11. At that time, Gox had way more USD on book that Stamp currently has.

Satoshi = John Titor.

The crash has more to do with Bitstamp's bid sum not replenishing (weaker support). It totaled over 20 mil about a week ago. Was 16 mil yesterday. 13 mil today. Coinbase is probably the only entity sending large sums to Bitstamp, and apparently not enough to sustain current prices.

Maybe Satoshi/Dorian has Alzheimer's?
651  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 07, 2014, 01:51:35 AM

How do we know that isn't Dorian trying to trick us?  Huh Huh Huh
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction of price due to Satoshi's reveal? on: March 07, 2014, 12:22:03 AM
How epic if the real Satoshi logged back onto this forum and confirmed that it wasn't him..

And that would prove what?

That it's him, trying to prove that it's not him.

Might have to do with less than 15 million on Stamp's book. https://www.cryptocoincharts.info/orderbook.php?pair=btc-usd&market=bitstamp

Back on topic.

When will Satoshi crash the market, and should I place my bids in the double or single digit range?
Do what you want but to me this is extremely bullish:

Thanks for the heads up. Just purchased 300 lbs of cookies.

So.

Could we stop this flatline range $655-$666 nonsense and move the feck on?

GRACIAS.

Yes, but only after Satoshi dumps his coins. Then it's safe to choo choo.

I'm now convinced that the man in that article is not Satoshi Nakamoto. Comparing the writings of that man to Satoshi here on bitcointalk shows a completely different style of writing and punctuation. Some of you may claim that he could have intentionally done so but I don't buy that argument. This is not the creator of Bitcoin folks, but this man still needs protection and the author of that article needs a good ass kicking.

^ denial stage.
