2  Economy / Economics / This forum is under attack by FUD on: December 06, 2013, 07:05:35 PM
This forum is under attack by FUDsters.

So many attacking posts, they will manipulate this market.

Speculation posts should be in the Speculation sub forum.

Stick to facts please, keep the conspiracy rubbish for Alec Jones show and the speculation sub forum.

Thanks.

Nice, quick and hassle free.  The coin is a nice bit of bling.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tired of 140$ on: September 13, 2013, 04:42:55 PM
But if a lot of people agreed that might be enough..

Prolly better to let the customers/market decide with tainting it though.

Why doesn't everyone on the exchanges just list thier BTC over 200 bux for a week?
6  Economy / Goods / [UK Group Buy] -- recalescence coins on: September 03, 2013, 09:28:39 PM
This is a group buy for:

10 Silver Sparrows + Certificate and display stand.

The coin is 1oz .999 silver and the certificate is a work of art.
Each coin is loaded upon delivery with 1BTC.

UK only.

https://recalescencecoins.com/coins/

I've emailed Dustin (nice guy), and he can offer a 15% discount for orders over 10 coins.
He will also only charge .22 postage for 10 coins altogether (instead of .22 for one), Import duty would be about £9, so .32 would cover p&p+import duty for 10.
UK signed for Special Delivery next day is £6.22p and 80p for a jiffy bag = £7, or .076 BTC each.
I'll charge 0.036 each which will be the handling, extra unexpected customs charges per coin and any escrow fees.

(prices below change daily due to BTC worth and are just an example to illustrate the savings, the price paid upon checkout, verified by Dustin, will be what the Group Buy is calculated from, you will be refunded the difference).
So, after doing the maths, each coin would land a .17 saving; 1.84  BTC per coin + P&P to UK; Whereas though this groupbuy you can buy for 1.67BTC per coin.

The price of the coin will go down in BTC, as the price of bitcoin goes up; the difference between what you pay to enter the groupbuy, and the price I pay for them on checkout will be refunded to your wallet.  The same with UK Special Delivery; as bitcoin goes up, the cost for special delivery in BTC will go down and the difference will be refunded to you based on the price of bitcoins when I rebuy back from the post office (all refunds processed at localbitcoins.com buy bitcoins rates).

Coins can be collected in person from Cambridge too!
Dustin has my postal address and kindly would release it on this thread with my permission should anything bad happen.

The coins are sealed with a solvent proof seal masking the private key, use gloves, this is extra anti-tamper resistant (solvent proof).  If the seal is intact it has not been tampered with.

If you are interested, please reply to this thread and we will see if it is a goer after 10 intrests.  I'd like to do more of these kinds of group buys in the future.

Any questions / comments please let me know what you would like to make this group buy work.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 02, 2013, 09:51:57 PM
Quick!
Everybody needs to sell labcoin for no reason, then buy it back again when the price is higher?

labcoin is not just a mining company, its also seller of mining devices.
I'd rather bet on a shovel seller and miner,  than just a miner in this game.
Your poncy fud pictures might be making you bitcoins at the sheep's expense, but until there is any concrete news it's just bullsheet and very disrespectful.
Its obvious that they are not doing a runner with our coins or that would of happened after the IPO,  instead we are getting communication and updates.
My advice to shareholders is to switch off your monitors for a week and don't look hard else you will just see what you are expected find by the fud flingers

Can we get photos of your datacenter?
If not, why not (better be a good reason).

Can we get a date when the hashing will start?

Attually they froze the last IPO whist they sorted out these terms, that's why it is an update.

Understood.  I am not saying it should be done for free etc.
Just wondering why it is in a groupbuy forum; a group that buys uses the power of a groupbuy to obtain a discount as a group.  The usual model is to use the power of the group to obtain a target that receives a discount; if the target is not met then the groupbuy is dissolved.  The organiser would than take a flat fee to make it worth his while.
I guess there is no other forum to put a bulkbuy in and that's why it is in here.
