IM in contact with Fabrizzio using google+. Here is what I got so far after pinging him about labcoin:

Yes I could be faking that, but Im not, and have no reason to. Feel free to ask him yourselves.

You could just post a screenshot of the conversation.

According to the irc chat of theSeven, however, the first batch was actually build by sneaking to the small university fab. It is possible the problem was caused by the poor product quality there.

TheSeven's response: TheSeven   Duffer1: lol, people are misquoting me all the time

Now that all the scared children have run for the hills with there losses we can finally really trade without the minipulator and day traders who've gotten screwed. Now it actually a investment. Watch the price rise into the morning mark my words

That won't happen unless positive hashrate growth occurs.
84  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 07:11:18 AM
And thats why labcoin is hiring, as mentioned by TheSeven.
But yeah, he'll fix it overnight, especially when the only guy who really knows the asic is gone.

People can't travel from California to China anymore?  Skype doesn't work anymore?  Email... what's that?

Hi Ukyo,

The Labcoin stock at BTCT has been given a scammer tag by Burnside and now wants to relist at BF.

Will you let them move their sketchy operation to BF, despite that warning?

It's a warning, not a scammer tag.  Burnside wanted clarification if x amount of shares were to be locked or not, and added the warning after failing to get their attention via more discreet channels.  They did promise this, but it was not in the contract for them to do so.  Burnside is likely too busy to deal with it now.  I'm not saying they aren't a scam, I'm saying they're definitely not a scam in the way the warning may suggest to people who don't click the link... in the warning..

Ukyo has Labcoin by the balls.  I hope he uses this position to get answers.  I hope Labcoin can adequately satisfy the questions and find a home on Bitfunder.

So it seems their 20TH will just suddenly be there at the end of next week, cause they've said that is 'a promise will not miss'. I really think they need to find another engineering team.

Due ~Saturday Oct. 5th (two weeks from original post):

UPDATE:

Even though I don't like making promises but Sam has assured me that 20TH is a goal that will not be missed within 2 weeks.

I am also working on having the "warning" removed from the security as Sam assured me that the team has not to sell any significant amount of shares and the ownership is still far above the 75% that was communicated as the holding limit.

*Pure Speculation*
anyone noticed "TestTeam" @ rank 15 on BTCGuild?
http://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings&section=teams

were they there before or are they new?

TestTeam is listed under top all time shares found.  It can't be Labcoin. Sad
88  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 24, 2013, 05:31:35 PM
They're still receiving payouts from BTCguild but their name is no longer in the top 25.  This means they've split their hash between 2 or more 'teams' (probably for testing) and set the payout address on all their teams to the same one.

Sigh. You know math isn't a spectator sport Wink Either you verify it yourself or it doesn't count.

If you download the figures from blockchain.info you get the last 50 transactions. Excluding the tiny ones gives 44. There are two bumps with a low period in between. The low period has an implied hashrate of 538 GH/s. The average over the last 44 transactions gives you an implied hashrate of about 716 GH/s.

Note that both of these numbers are below the team number. Please explain.

Have you factored in 3% pool fee?

pure horseshit...

The dump's over, you missed it.

UPDATE:

As usual by now I am very sorry for the lack of updates. I do however at this time have an update for actual hashing.

Though the launch of the mining operation has been delayed and the team is still tweaking miners we now have around 800gh hashing at btcguild at:

http://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings&section=teams

The Labcoin team is currently listed as 24 Labcoin.

According to Sam, more hash rate will be deployed daily. I do not have any goals or hash rate estimates to communicate right now but as soon as I do, I will of course communicate this.

I hope that I can provide more timely updates on a lot of open questions shortly, and I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I see Labcoin on the list, but the payouts to the address provided are far below that.  Is it just lag or is there a new address?

http://world.time.com/2013/09/21/super-typhoon-usagi-set-to-hit-southern-china/

FTFA:

"On its current path, the typhoon is set to directly hit the coastal metropolis of Hong Kong, which, blessed with one of the world’s most sophisticated storm preparation systems, is already readying for the worst. Leading regional carrier Cathay Pacific has suspended flights, while the city’s busy port traffic has slowed to a halt. Many businesses are expected to remain closed Monday morning.

The super typhoon’s arrival punctuates the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday for many in Hong Kong and elsewhere China."

Burnside, can you see IP addresses of the party involved with issuing shares?
He's OP.  He sees all.  Never assume otherwise.
94  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 20, 2013, 12:05:08 AM
165K shares, I don't know the average price, but the lowest was .002
There's 330+ BTC that just left.

What do you use to see the exact volume in a time frame?

kryptotrader.com and/or #bitcoin-assets freenode IRC chan.

Hey Swede, what's goin on man?
96  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 19, 2013, 06:25:22 AM
Labcoin just got another block payment, .1198

Who sent this? To so many recipients with 12 BTC?

The address who sent the 12 BTC recieved the 12 BTC from slush's pool in the same block in which Labcoin received .1277

Ya this is a weird one.  Also there doesn't appear to be any pay out at all from the most recent Slush payout.
97  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 19, 2013, 05:27:08 AM

Well, that's not a good payout.  Not even for 1 block, much less 3.
which can be interpreted as they've had the miner on and off for some tweaking.

Or that it was in fact a troll.

They could just post the api token..................
98  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 19, 2013, 05:11:18 AM
And we are hashing!!!

Kind of a low amount for 1~2 let alone 5+ GH though.

wait a second, that's .1277 for 3 blocks?
75btc payed out, could be ya.
99  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 19, 2013, 04:48:50 AM

That is the address that sent the initial 3.26 to Labcoin's address.
100  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 19, 2013, 03:38:09 AM
Let me guess they faked the 3BTC send from Slush pool? Only a complete moron would believe that they can fake receiving payments from a huge reputable pool.

Hence, why I don't even bother to post on here anymore, will just hold my shares and watch the price skyrocket, when their hash keeps growing.
The price hasn't taken off because the fud is effective because it expresses a LOT of reasonable concern.

Also it would be extremely easy to fake the BTC send from Slush pool.  Just point your withdrawal address to Labcoin's so when the next payment occurs it goes to Labcoin's address, and shows up as a payment from Slush.  I'm not saying it's reasonable to believe this has happened, just that it could be easily done.  The likelyhood of this being the case will decrease with each payment we see deposited into Labcoin's address.
