1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 06:40:52 AM
The major benefit is of course the huge upside to where the price could go. We've only got a couple or three million bitcoin holders globally right now, most with tiny amounts invested, and that has taken the price up to a high of over $16,000 already, starting from $0.02 7 years ago.
There are many other benefits as well, like being a part of a whole new economy, or ending the Fed and possibly even stopping nations from being able to finance wars. This is of course just as controversial and speculative as the price is, but you'll find no shortage of people that work tirelessly towards that end promoting bitcoin for those purposes.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 06:25:14 AM
will we see bitcoin price continue going up or will it crash?

In my opinion bitcoin really in a bubble, which will cause a significant correction in the coming months, which will be reflected in a sharp decline. However, because of its yield, the currency will not disappear but will return to rise.
In addition, I estimate that towards 1 January 2018, the price of the currency will rise to the range of $ 21,000 to $ 20,000.
All of this indicates that we are moving towards the explosion of the bubble in the long run! I do not know how long and how significant it will be. But, in my opinion until the beginning of 2018 the currency will continue to rise significantly. As I said, I estimate that towards 1 January 2018, the price of the currency will rise to the range of $ 21,000 to $ 20,000. In the meantime, there will be a decrease of about 15% during the month.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are experts saying about the fork? on: December 08, 2017, 05:57:10 AM
What are experts saying about the fork?

There are differences of opinions within the bitcoin industry as to whether a fork is good or bad.

"These forks are very bad for bitcoin. Saturating the market with different versions of bitcoin is confusing to users, and discredits the claim that there are a limited number of bitcoins — since you can always fork it and double the supply," Sol Lederer, blockchain director at Loomia, said in an emailed statement Tuesday.

But some have said forks are a good part of any cryptocurrency ecosystem.

"If a crypto-community has irreconcilable differences, then you can go your separate ways and that is just fine," Bob Summerwill, chief blockchain developer at Sweetbridge, a company creating blockchain solutions, said in a statement Tuesday.

Still, there is bullishness around bitcoin. A survey carried out by CNBC last week asking where the bitcoin price was headed found that 49 percent of the 23,118 people who voted answered "above $10,000."

Bitcoin repeated Forks are perfect for it's long term success. Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold which launched in August and November respectively, both take the original currency in a new direction, attempting to fix some of its biggest flaws.
Ultimately, the hard fork was designed to fix what is a perceived problem at this point as it hasn’t created any real issues. Nonetheless, that problem is the idea that the miners as a whole, have too much influence over the direction of the bitcoin network. As a result, this update lessens their control by making a change to the mining algorithm that will work with cheaper graphics processing units, ultimately increasing the amount of miners in the pool and limiting control by diversification.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin capital gain tax on: December 08, 2017, 05:31:54 AM
Basically, the tax agency views bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as property and not currency for tax purposes. And although you may not receive a Form 1099 from whatever exchange you trade on, you remain responsible for paying taxes on gains.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do trading website support bitcoin GOD ? on: December 08, 2017, 05:12:46 AM
Good morning ,
I heard that bitcoin God will be hard fork from bitcoin , and i want to know which trading website support it .
Can someone tell me please ?
Thank you so much.

Guo has not gone into further detail about how that profit sharing scheme will work. However, bitcoin hard forks are quickly becoming the new ICOs. Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Platinum, Bitcoin Diamond, and Bitcoin Cash Plus are all being released over the next few weeks. Some of these projects have legitimate support from a team of developers. Others are scam projects with no apparent purpose.

Ultimately, there’s virtually no information about Bitcoin God available online at this time – but we’re still a few weeks away from launch. Stay tuned to see if Bitcoin God (GOD) is a real cryptocurrency project or Not.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the Christmas is increasing the price of bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 04:48:39 PM

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the reason why BTC rise or decline? on: December 07, 2017, 09:50:52 AM
Huh As we all know, the recent 2 months, BTC has risen to $15000 quickly. This never happened is the past. How to explain this phenomenon?

There is only so much Bitcoin that will ever exist, every day less and less bitcoins are being “mined”. Unarguably, bitcoin is very popular, which creates more demand for it. The supply however, is limited. That's were the basic principles of Supply and Demand come on.

You want a bitcoin, I want a bitcoin, and someone else wants a bitcoin, but there is only 1 bitcoin. Which means that in order for you to get that bitcoin you need to pay more than me and the other person that wants a Bitcoin. There is more demand than available supply.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss Twins becomes billionaire in bitcoin on: December 07, 2017, 09:20:38 AM
If bitcoin is a better gold or seen as a type of gold-like asset, then it could be in the trillions on a market cap," Tyler Winklevoss told CNNMoney in 2015. "We do feel those are very real possibilities." The twins have never sold a single Bitcoin, reports The Telegraph, noting that only a handful of Bitcoin wallets hold more than $1 billion worth of the cryptocurrency. One of those wallets belongs to the mysterious inventor, known only under the pseudonym of satoshi nokomotive.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another hack, learned the lesson yet? on: December 07, 2017, 09:03:41 AM
Yes this is really a bad news. Now a day's hacking
is so much advance ,and our money is not safe anymore in our online wallets.
Only the solution is we safe our funds in Nano ledger wallet . I hope every one take lesson from this huge disaster.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forks on: December 07, 2017, 08:45:58 AM
I'm not a hard core bitcoin supporter, but I believe it is a great long term solution for the world.

Why are there so many forks? Will we get to a point where there are 20 - 50 bitcoin variations.

I see that more and more people are refering to Bitcoin Core, in my humble opinion it is the first and only bitcoin.

What's your feeling.

If bitcoin minners didn't have enough Forks on thier plate another one is comming up on Christmas day of all things. In addition to an already heavily forked cryptocurrency that consists of Bitcoin Classic, the now-defunct Bitcoin XT, Bitcoin Cash, and Bitcoin Gold, they will soon be joined by Bitcoin God.

Yes, you heard it right; Bitcoin God is due to be forked off on Christmas day by Chinese blockchain investor Chandler Guo who has announced he will release his own version of the currencies.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Treating Bitcoin as if IT was a Product! Stop saying." I am selling it" on: December 07, 2017, 07:07:17 AM
To you people who keep saying you are going to sell your bitcoins, it is not a product, stop treating it like one.  Say you are exchanging it.  Ita a curreny ok?

many of you are greedy ass hats and are no different from the government, we should be making bitcoin a new payment method instead we are treating it as a product of greed.

I don't know why you Annoying too much. Every person has different point of view of expressing.
Bitcoin buy and selling is a part of Bitcoin trading. Some people hold for long term without doing any
trading and some people's doing daily trading for booked daily 3 to 5% profit.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest other method to generate bitcoin apart from mining and trading on: December 06, 2017, 06:06:34 PM
Apart from trading and mining,is there another other method to generate bitcoin?

Trading and mining is only the two legitimate method to earn Bitcoin. Otherwise you try faucet websites
But it takes too much time to earn good money. And the 2nd option you try to invest in hyip sites or ico's .
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 'Buy and Hold' the Best Bitcoin Investment Strategy? on: December 05, 2017, 10:58:24 AM
Is 'Buy and Hold' the Best Bitcoin Investment Strategy?

Yes this is good strategy because if u don't know much about trading then it's best thing
you just buy and hold ,you make money automatic without any stress.
But my advice is buy as much as Ethereum coins. Ethereum has a lots of potential to give 3 to 4x profit in next 6 months.Good luck
15  Other / Meta / Re: Are there real people here, or just bots? on: December 04, 2017, 02:00:59 PM
Strikes me with the same questions being asked over and over, with the same replies over and over...

Forums like this are simply a purvey of bots.

Clever I gotta say... but as Abe Lincoln once said....

First of all this is not a right thread of raise this question
This is a Bitcoin related thread and your topic is off topic
Here is no place for any bots, all are real and humen .
But yes some people's copy paste others answers for increasing their Bitcoin talk Rank.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sustainability of BTC on: December 04, 2017, 05:46:02 AM
With the power requirements to run the BTC network continually increasing... what is the long term solution?  It doesn't seem viable that it can go on forever like this.  Anyone have good insight?  It's easy to just assume... "well there will be cheaper energy in the future" or "BTC will just switch to POS".... I guess I'm looking for answers with a little more substance and detail.  Thanks!

Since bitcoin mining is very competitive, only those miners will survive who apply the most competitive mining hardware and benefit from the lowest electricity costs. The sustainability of bitcoin on itself therefore is not primarily at risk due to energy consumption.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL bitcoin? why and why not? on: December 04, 2017, 05:38:54 AM
Yes I hodl mine Bitcoin. because I knew Bitcoin price go up . Government take action to
legalized Bitcoin. If bitcoin was legalized
in every country then more people
know about Bitcoin and then more Bitcoin rising like a shine.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash battle. on: December 02, 2017, 03:20:00 PM
According to the below report the people running Bitcoin Cash are “plotting the death of Bitcoin” by launching a coordinated attack on the Bitcoin network. You will be amazed of what you will find in the background profile of the main figures behind Bitcoin Cash.

https://medium.com/@MiguelCuneta_21450/the-big-bitcoin-battle-what-i-found-out-about-bitcoin-vs-bcash-d9ebca8d370e

No one beat bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is just a bubble in my opinion. And whales easily manuplate Bitcoin cash .
In few days back we see huge pump in Bitcoin cash and then suddenly dump very hard.
That's the difference between Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash. No body manuplate Bitcoin market now.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin without mining on: December 02, 2017, 11:26:21 AM
Can i get bitcoins without mining?

Without mining only you get Bitcoin with fiat currency or you earn Bitcoin from signature bounties and from different Airdrops.
You can try also free faucets websites but it takes too much time and effort.
