I think DO was the first one to bring the concept of airdrop.... After that everybody is just trying to make some quick bucks from crypto market ... No real project

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Airdrop? on: February 22, 2018, 03:19:12 PM
Airdrop can be the best way to get some free tokens from the community by doing simple tasks.
I currently participate in DeepOnion airdrops before they do full-fledged launch

It will be good if you can elaborate more on the campaign instead of just posting the links.
Considering the status, it will be appropriate if we know where are we clicking.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Bitcoin to USD exchanges? on: January 26, 2018, 01:03:02 AM
I find Gemini good because the exchange rate is good and fees is also less. But they deal only with bitcoin and ETH.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum. Your aim should be clear. Are you here just for knowledge or at the end you look forward for investing in cryptos?
I will say read about different cryptos and gain knowledge about them, about their dream and community.
And when you personally think any crypto has potential to increase in the future, invest in them.
Good luck
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying and selling bitcoin - why such a difference in both these prices? on: January 22, 2018, 02:49:16 AM
I have noticed the same trend. I think its just that exchange are trying to make profits in between.
At coinbase the difference is maximum. Thats why I use gemini to buy BTC. The rate at Gemini I found very close to actual value.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Rank Demoted on: January 18, 2018, 04:45:30 PM
Can someone please explain...
I really tried hard to elevate my rank to Jr. Member.
Then I was busy one day and suddenly my rank demoted.
I thought its like permanent if you reach a particular rank.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help! on: January 18, 2018, 04:36:40 PM
That's true, this is not the mining thread. But just to answer each mining group has its own policies.
Some share the amount after 24 hrs or some after successfully mining a block. So I would say you should check the guidelines and sharing rules for the mining.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Information about Marketcaps. on: January 18, 2018, 04:26:47 PM
Hi,

Thats a good information. But but things like volume, supply, transactions amount and their effect on the price.
Does these things have impact on the coin evaluation? All these really confuse newbie like me.
As XRP as price very low but it is 3rd largest by supply whereas some other altcoins are trading at high price but their supply is very less.
That's really confusing.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Ban on Nodes on: January 17, 2018, 12:14:14 AM
From what I understand is cryto is decentralised and need nodes to keep it up and running.
But seeing the current incidents, if government in china/korea decides to block IP of nodes from the network.
Will it cause a huge discrepancy in the network? And also we all know most of the miners are in China and Korea. This ban will surely cause impact on the network and their price right?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I test a paper wallet? on: January 16, 2018, 07:53:19 PM
You can buy some crypto from exchange and then send it to your paper wallet.
You can also verify the transaction online on the blockchain.
20  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Deep Onion on: January 16, 2018, 07:35:23 PM
I heard DeepOnion is a Tor based crypto and 100% anonymous. They are claimed to be better than Verge and other cryptos.
Is anybody in India following deep onions?
