1  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 01:48:51 PM
One problem that may hinder a cashless world involves identification cards that those people in the lowest social class do not have. To be capable of getting valid wallets (digital form, probably on phones) or card (in physical form), whatsoever, ofcourse, you need to have an ID. KYC is one proof that only those people in the middle class and above can be involved in thos kind of community. What about the poor ones? They won't be able to afford getting cards etc because most of the time they do not have valid ids. Probably maybe because they don't have work or money to produce one.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: September 11, 2018, 02:41:09 PM
Up until now I am still holding my tokens. I have started it already and the market crash is too awful. I do not want to waste all the months I have held unto what I believed in just because the market is temporarily down. I will still hold. Soon the market may recover. We never know but my holdings are still babies and will still need more room to grow.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic selling. on: September 11, 2018, 01:05:26 AM
How do panic selling affects the market and why does it affects the coins value?

When you panic sell, you sell tokens regardless of its price. You are just afraid of losing its value during a market crash. This affects the market negatively because once you sell them at very cheap prices, it will be difficult for the coin to recover its true price. It's demand becomes low because it is being sold at very low prices.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merchants Adopting Coins on: September 10, 2018, 12:07:34 PM
I don't think there is a perfect coin for that. We cannot really demand a coin to have low fee, good design etc. all at the same time. Bitcoin, as of now, is the most widely used coin because maybe for the reason that it is the pilot coin. It has gained its fame. Other coins like the ones you mentioned are superior in their own kinds.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 💚🔥Ok, time to stop the panic mode. Bitcoin goes to the "moon" *I hope on: September 10, 2018, 11:57:55 AM
Well, it's been a month since I was gone. Was busy with other stuffs and now I am back! I have seen bitcoin fluctuate up and down but ita fluctuation is not as bad as ethereum. The whole market is down and at 6.3k USD atm is pretty comforting compared to ethereum at less than 200 USD!! Still hoping for the best for this year, we still have more than 3 months to recover.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: August 29, 2018, 10:52:05 AM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

The only thing keeping me from selling my holdings is the hope that the market will recover as soon as the Ber months come. I am hoping that what occured last year will reoccur this year. The market could rise up again.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your tokens? on: August 28, 2018, 11:51:49 AM
Hey guys, where do you store your tokens? On your ethereum wallet or on an exchange, or maybe you store your tokens somewhere else? Give me some recommendations, where my tokens will be in complete safety?

I store mine in myetherwallet since I do not have a hardware wallet. I think MEW is safe enough to keep my funds, it's just a matter of keeping my password safe and bookmarking the url so that I can avoid being phished. I also have some in exchanges, I am waiting for prices to rise.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe the crypto market will never take off! on: August 27, 2018, 11:50:14 PM
Indeed, the market keeps on falling and still we cannot control how many shitcoins are listed everyday. These shitcoins are just bringing the market into its worst state. I think the solution to this is for exchanges to filter out coins that have no value. This could help the market rise up a bit.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: August 16, 2018, 03:59:55 PM
Wow, that's nice! And upon checking the website, it seems pretty legit. I haven't imagined myself using cryptos for ahopping because I thought that it was the dumbest decision I could ever make because my mindset is "Cryptos are for investments only". But seeing projects developed for these stuffs make me divert my belief. I think it could work.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: August 16, 2018, 03:29:25 PM
I don't want to spread negativity but as of this moment, the market is full of red colors. It is hard to predict what will happen in the coming months - if the market will recover and another leap higher for altcoins will occur or everything will just fall down. All we are left to do is wait for the best to come and hold, if ever we still have holdings.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: August 16, 2018, 12:05:42 PM
This is why it is better to participate in ICOs that have working products because it means that it is less likely a scam since you can actually see a product being developed througout the ICO. But a working product will not guarantee that the ICO is real because there are still fraudulent ones with fake working product.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: August 15, 2018, 04:01:20 PM
You are not cursed. You just still haven't figured out how the market goes. It is extremely difficult to enter the world of crypto trading without proper knowledge and a technique. Most of the time, your decisions will not be correct because your predictions will only be based by just shallow observations. Deep analysis is needed to make the right decision. If those knowledgeable about the technicalities of trading can't avoid mistakes, how much more those who doesn't know much?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't it be possible to be paid for bounty in cash instead of token on: August 14, 2018, 02:40:13 PM
Not possible. The reason why they are establishing the project is because they need to raise money. The tokens are their product of hardwork and research and that is what they are marketing. If you will work for them, it means that you have faith in their project and believes that their tokens will be worth something soon. They built that project out of not so much fund and your job to spread the good news. They'll rather use the money for funding the project than paying it for you. After all, you've decided to help them and they are just there for approval.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winter is coming for altcoins on: August 14, 2018, 03:28:18 AM
You cannot predict the movement of the market by just looking at one thing. There's so much going on here and the market is affected not just by one factor. Bitcoin is the pilot coin, yes, and it might influence the altcoin market but it is not the only factor and basis for such conclusion. Altcoin & bitcoin are two different coins. Each coin has different purposes and one way or another, there are external factors that affect each including government. That is why we are not in the place to dictate what will happen in the future, none of us can predict accurately.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: August 13, 2018, 11:53:39 PM
KYC is important to verify whether the user is not a citizen of a banned country of a specific project. Also, it is used to know whether the user have bad records from the past. It may reduce the risk for the side of the developer but it is risky for the user. Data breach is a problem that is still hard to prevent and solve.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: August 13, 2018, 03:05:33 PM
This is true because this market is decentralized and no one really has full control of it. However, it could be very sensitive to changes. It can be influenced easily by FUDs and unwanted events, not only the transaction history in the market. The government plays a vital role in cryptomarket in terms of influence and regulation. They are powerful enough to cause FUD and to prevent the market from recovering but ofcourse if we stick to our principle, we might get through it but only if you are a risk-taker.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: August 09, 2018, 02:53:12 PM
I agree. Physical job is way more better. It must be yout top priority because that will provide you a much stable income. Cryptos are very volatile hence are unpredictable. If you let this consume your time for your work and for other more important activities, you might regret it. I am not saying that learning stuffs here is okay but do not make it your top priority if you don't want to lose the STABLE things you have now. Not that you are afraid to take risks, but you should know how much risk to take Wink
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 09, 2018, 12:57:56 PM
People will always have different opinions and preferences but what I can say is that bitcoin is the reason why all other altcoins are existing in the first place. It may differ in some ways but it is still the pilot of all crypto coins. Calling it names like ponzi scheme won't help the market to recover because whether we like it or not, bitcoin still has the greatest impact and influence in this whole market.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peak get lower and lower, and dips get worse on: August 09, 2018, 11:54:42 AM
Peak - 16 Dec: 20.000$

Dip - 30 Dec: 12.600$

Peak - 6 Jan: 17.100$

Dip - 5 Feb: 6.900$

Peak - 4 Mar: 11.500$

Dip - 7 Apr: 6.600$

Peak - 5 May: 9.800$

Dip - 28 Jun: 5.800$

Peak - 24 Jul: 8.400$

Now we are at 6.200 going down to the next even deeper dip

This is the long and slow death of Bitcoin as there are not really anyone new who wants to use it (let's face it, there is no use at all, only "investment"), and as current Bitcoin-believers are slowly becoming fewer and fewer, the price will continue this long slow death-spiral

Notice how the trend goes from pump to dump every month. Personally, I still believe in bitcoin. It's just that we should expect that it will not be the way we want it to be all the time. The pump happens so that we can sell and dump occurs to buy more. It will not please us always. It is volatile and it is naturally fluctuating.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: August 08, 2018, 02:28:15 PM
For me, stock market is less risky. Why did I say that? Simply because you know where your money is going. You put your money into a company that has been going around for decades maybe. It is much easier to predict when the products and services are all physical and are all open to public. For example, you invest your money in a food corporation. You know that you won't lose because damn, that's food we are talking about. It is a necessity and people will spend a penny for it. When people patronizes whatever product the company you invested in has, then your money will grow.
