3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 19, 2018, 09:02:19 AM
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?

Losing money of course, some stay because they want to risk and others are standing on the side and watching closely what is happening and simply knowing that bitcoin exist. You have to understand that we are not even near the adoption level that we should be and thus knowing this not many people are interested. First of we have to make bitcoin more usable and to achieve that we have to make it to have more stable price. Because you don't want to wake up in two years to figure out that when you spent your 100$ worth at a time to buy some items now it would have value over a 100k$ or more.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So, do you guys remember Lumi Wallet? on: June 12, 2018, 12:28:10 PM
Yet even that we have article which states the issue I doubt it that people will just stop to use them. Firstly not every dingle user will be notified which brings down that even tough the issue has been found bot every person will know about it. It is good that you wrote this theard as it adds up to spreading the word for people who are using this wallet but do not know how secure it is. It is hard to trust anybody and people are used to go there grab free tool or get free service and go without any mistakes. Everything has its own price sadly.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: 800 Days Left before BTC Raise Again on: June 11, 2018, 09:13:36 PM
It will take faster, go look at McAfee predictions or any other crypto guru. I will tell you it will be less and mark my word. Why do I think it this way? Because back then in 2013 you had way less people who invested their money into bitcoin and overall popularity is pretty low. But looking at it now and with comunity growing. We have great news everyday and it only takes one small run up and we will cross that 20k again. 800days is just to much for the moment we are in now I expect in less than a year.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I can contribute to Oneledger on: June 11, 2018, 09:05:15 PM
It is always good to see that people with extremely good knowledge are willing to contribute to such projects. But I am sorry to tell you that I think your post doesn't worth much and I will try to break down and explain why. First of all, if you want to contribute go and do it, writing a simple post in altcoin section will get you nowhere. Secondly why are you writing this are you just trying to brag about your achievements better go and enroll within the project and help them out.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Origin and history of bitcoin till now? on: June 11, 2018, 09:01:04 PM
I have been reading some posts in this section about bitcoin But I never understand any reply about it because of the reason that we did not even know that where the bitcoin comes from and who is the real owner and so many question related to that.

Anyone who has answer is welcome.

Of course that you will never know for sure who is behind bitcoin you silly it can be the NSA the CIA or some another agency from some other country like Russia, China etc. We will never know because of the fact that Satoshi hid the tracks well. It could be one person etc. A part from this we have the other history that most of us are familiar with such as the creation of Whitepaper, then mailing list then some devs jumping on and off the project and way back cyberpunk movement and other stories.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you listen to analytics? on: June 10, 2018, 01:54:20 PM
Hey guys, do you read all articles about cryptocurrency from famous analysts? Do you believe their predictions? Personally I don’t believe them, because no one can predict where market will go. What’s your opinion?

You are right that none can predict the market but everybody of us have the ability to speculate and if your speculation turns out to be true that is great for you. I don't trust anyone with any kind of analytics as I do think in my mind that most of those guys are trying and looking into shilling their own coin more than doing anything else. It is hard to believe people these days specially some random ones from from the Internet.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possible reason why Bitcoin price is decreasing for last few days on: June 10, 2018, 01:50:47 PM
This was not a question and let me give the possible reason. There is no major negative news and thus it is not because of it. There are next gen of ASCIs which had made mining easier. These are being tested by some pools and cost of mining btc is reduced because of this. They can thus sell for less and thus prices have reduced.

Why does it matter? What matters today is that not many people are willing to transact and transfer money with bitcoin that easily. We should more focus on how people see bitcoin and if they are going to be part of it. The more people join they will pull their friends and when they pull their friends to buy then the party is starting and price increases. It could be due to mining but don't forget that we are going to have another halfing and no matter how easier it is to mine when halfing comes it will be harder to mine them which means higher price. Look for long not short.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective POS altcoyins on: June 09, 2018, 09:22:25 PM
Which POS (proof of stake) altcoyns are worth keeping for now?

You never know that is the catch. POS is great don't get me wrong but if everybody knew which coin will be best well guess what it's price would be already high. It doesn't matter if you can earn passively or not what matter is your profit. Sometimes it will pay off to have even pow coin and if it's price shoots up ypu could earn more than from staking. You might want to look at the ethereum as they seem to be one of the most well know out there and are also looking into developing their coin to be pos
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency boost: Slovenia creates first bitcoin city in the world on: June 09, 2018, 09:18:58 PM
SLOVENIA is set to open a bitcoin city in its largest shopping mall in Ljubljana, where customers can pay for goods simply using bitcoin and cryptocurrency, operating via blockchain technology, in a world first.

Good news for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world !

I invite you to read the full article from here:
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/971527/bitcoin-news-slovenia-bitcoin-city-Ljubljana-cryptocurrency-btc

This is great to hear that merchants are actually willing to do go through this and offer us the ability to pay with crypto. This whole thing brings us closer to adoption as when more people start to realize the potential benefits of using crypto and the fact that they can use it in everyday life it doesn't matter for them call it fiat or crypto because all that matters at the end of the day is for them to earn and spend their money. Will be interesting to watch how this situation unfolds in the future
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Gets Bank Approval to Help Clients Buy Bitcoin with Dollars on: June 09, 2018, 09:15:39 PM
The only one that will profit the most out of it are not traders but bittrex themselves.  Of course that they will be trying to do such things as if everything is done and aligned right can lead to more customers which means more money for them. Although bittrex lost all the credibility on my side and so far I am using binance and I am in love with them. Bittrex support is very slow and when I day this I mean it and then you wait for the reply and not get issue resolved while binance is great. Binance will add fiat or should add in the future. Looking forward for that.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptomarket stagnation on: June 09, 2018, 09:07:50 PM
Hey guys, since January fall bitcoin didn’t grow at all. I mean in February it was 7k$ and now too. When do you think it will stop? When will bitcoin finally grow?

It doesn't matter much. If you are in here for the long run you would know that prices will raise. If you've been paying attention many more people know about and are engaging within various communities such as you see much meet ups taking place all over the world where people are being educated about cryptocurrency. There are many bullish news with giant companies coming into space. Looking at how price moved before it seems that at like end of July or in August bearish market takes place and thus continues till end of the year. I expect this to happen now and for us to break new records
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market is drowning from tokens. on: June 07, 2018, 08:29:27 PM
As we can see, there are lots of coins that are being offered in the market every single day. Does every single coins that are in the market really usable in our daily lives? According to Bitcoin.com, the enormous number of tokens existing in the market is currently bringing confusion to the investors. For example, they wanted to invest their money in Quarkchain, but bought the Quark instead. Which is a totally different coin. I know that it is probably the fault of the investors for not double checking the coin, but too much coins in the market also plays a big factor.

Are there any solutions about this problem that we, the users in this forum, can do?

The point is that people see that they are able to create value out of nothing by simply writing the software which is why you have many premine coins now. Because developers are doing everything to promote the coin and get money get rich and buy lambo tomorrow. Because of this noise it is hard for projects with potential to break through and simply push the crowd and get recognized. Not to talk about ico's that are simply raising money because they can and raising more than they need. So you see we are headed off the path and something has to hit the market to drawn all the bad projects.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you look for in an Altcoin announcement thread? on: June 07, 2018, 08:25:53 PM
We've been working on the Paratii [ANN] for a while, and I'm quite happy with it, but it's way denser and more informative than 99% of the ANN posts I see. Most are just a list of links and hype with very little information, while ours is quite long and wordy in comparison. Would this be a good or a bad thing to you? Do you like Announcement posts with plenty of information or very light and barebones? Would you be put off by having to read more than usual?

Where there is information that is being updated in the first post. If you look how announcments are made today well most of them just take screen shots of their website and copy paste those pictures. With many clappy projects and a lot of ICOs it really makes it hard to go through every projects to find the one that will matter for the long run. For me headline must be eye catching to even thing to look at the theard in the first place
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency on: June 07, 2018, 07:20:33 PM
Hi guys. I'm new here.
Can someone please help me a little? I already have 0.6 BTC, now I want to increase them, so what do I do? Leave them or enclose them somewhere?
I will be very happy with your advice in PM.

Please, do not write to me if you do not have a crypto currency, because it often turns out to be a fraud.
Thanks. And sorry for bad language, i'm from România Smiley

Your options are pretty limited and they include investing into promising alts and waiting for their price to spike. Day trading which means to trade and earn money on price swings tho this is not easy job and requires a lot of skills. There are some companies that will pay you interest on your money although you have to trust then to not run with your money, I've found gambling websites to have an option for you to invest there but again this is not something you should do all time as you have some risks. Go and offer your service for crypto or bitcoin or any other altcoin and by this way earn and generate more.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are good on investing right now? on: June 07, 2018, 07:13:00 PM
I have been searching a lot this time and myself cant decide where to put my money on because there are a lot of altcoins out there and they offer different perks advantages i wanted to limit my choices so that i can decide properly and would not regret it.

Can you guys suggest some interesting coins that have great potential to become huge in the future let me know you thoughts.

Dont take what others are telling you as nobody knows we all can speculate and so can you. You have to understand the risks involved and be ready to even lose your money. Many people here might shill you coins they are holding because if you buy it and convince your friends to buy and your friends convince their friends etc. Price will go up which means they are going to be the ones who earn a lot a the end of they day. This is why you should do your own research and not trust much people here as everyone is for himself.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent most sucessful ico’s on: June 05, 2018, 07:50:30 AM
To me it doesn't matter how much money ico raise or what they are doing what matter the most is for an ICO to stay alive within five years and to be used as many people as possible. If they however fail to do such thing then they fail. Many ICOs are chaining the capital without the need for it. Many are acquiring more money because they can come back with five years and check if those you mentioned are still here and if people actually use them. Other than that saying now is not accurate assumption many ICOs failed from the last year and many will fail this year.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft buying GitHub for 7.5 billion, Good or it's Death? on: June 05, 2018, 07:44:57 AM

Its death. Everything that Microsoft will buy will soon die. There are lots of projects that are already  gone and not used by people after its being owned by MS. One that is massively used before Microsoft was skype and after they  bought it, almost everyone avoided it already. There were more alternatives coming out too. Github  will die and maybe another will come out and again MS will buy it.

I can nor agree on that, look at the Skype they bought it and now it doesn't even work but they bought it because people know about it and use it everyday. Same for github the only disadvantage is if they ruin some existing features or play around with terms and policies to screw everything up. They might even play with github code base and make it slower. It's like they ruin everything but have the money to do so. Github is not the only platform if MS screw it up people are gonna move away from it.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA has collapsed on: June 05, 2018, 07:34:41 AM
I think it is not a subject to compare it with bitcoin.

Give us reason why do you think that? Knowing that visa is used to transfer money in the electric way and that bitcoin is itself a digital format of money well we could compare some aspects of it. Though bitcoin has a problem with scaling and with price fluctuation. Where as visa does fiat money transfers which at its core means that fiat is stable and it can process a lot more transactions.  So for bitcoin to be even seen as an alternative to visa it has to get a lot of things done.
