I don't want to believe it though because some other big teams also wouldn't like to miss a great player like him. He is one of the good talents in the Premier League. Manchester United and Chelsea wanted to sign him last summer but they both failed. Manchester United were the closest team to sign him. This time, they might finish this transfer successfully as it seems. But if Manchester City also enter the race, then their chance would be bigger than Manchester United.

Villarreal showed an amazing performance in the first half and finished it 2-0 ahead also. But Liverpool have just scored the devastating goal for Villarreal and made the score 2-1. Now, Villarreal need to score another goal again. It is going to be a really big disappointment for Villarreal if they can't manage to win this despite performing very nicely. If they qualify for the finale, it is going to be their biggest success in their history. But I don't think that Liverpool will let them do so at the end of the match.

Inter and Milan are competing with each other for the title in a really heated way. They both left this week behind by nice victories. Milan seem to be really determined to become the champions this season. They are leaving their tough opponents behind one by one successfully. This is surely going to be an unforgettable championship for them if they make it at the end. However Inter really seem like they will follow them till the end.

Manchester United are going to have a quite challenging match for themselves. Every team are hard to beat for them actually as they are having a problematic season. Manchester United should try to do their best in the rest of the season to be able to finish the season at the best place possible. However it seems like the best place will be the sixth place for them as it is hard for them to catch up with Arsenal and Tottenham. Here, I think that Manchester United will manage to beat Brentford.

I agree that Barcelona really deserve to finish this season at the second place. They have made an incredible improvement in their performance so far. It was like a nightmare for them in the first times of the season. But Xavi's arrival has been very beneficial for the team. His system started working great and they must already have achieved their goal for this season. But they will be expected to do much better next season so they had better get prepared strongly.

Today's matches are closing in now. Leipzig and Leverkusen both are quite the favourites against Gladbach and Frankfurt respectively. Leverkusen are one point ahead of Leipzig in the standings now. Real Madrid fully earned this title in this season so congrats to them. It was nice to see them winning it by destroying Espanyol 4-0. Sevilla and Atletico Madrid both lost points this week and this is very good news for Barcelona. There is a competition between them to take the second place in the league standings in the end. Barcelona are going to play their match tonight vs Mallorca in Camp Nou. And I will be expecting a certain victory for Barcelona in this match. They lost against Cadiz and Rayo Vallecano in an interesting way so it is time to improve their effort.

What an incredible effort by Napoli there! They had one of their best games in this season today by destroying Sassuolo 6-1 home. Sassuolo were a tough team to beat in fact but they had really nothing to do against this version of Napoli. They were just unlucky to have this kind of a game against them. Because their previous game against each other didn't end like this. Napoli were in a bad form for some weeks and they played their best game here to make up for that a little. Maybe they won't have a chance for the title if we look at it realistically. But they are at least trying to keep their current place.

We have watched four goals in the first thirty minutes of the Dortmund - Bochum game. It is still 2-2 now but I was really surprised to see Bochum getting 2-0 ahead in only the first eight minutes of the game. Dortmund made a nice comeback thanks to Haaland's two penalty goals. It looks like Dortmund are not caring about this game too much and I'll give them that. Because they don't have any goal left in this season and they are going to keep the second place in the standings too. These might be Haaland's last games in the Bundesliga also.

Liverpool had a very dominant game against Newcastle today and deserved this victory for certain. It would have ended by a bigger goal difference actually but Newcastle managed to keep it at 1-0. Keita's goal was really delightful by the way. It was a good example of a composure there. Liverpool rotated the squad a little before this game started also but they still did a very good work and got the win. And now they must be waiting very excitedly for the Leeds - Manchester City game this evening.
