Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are?

I'm not only an investor but also a bit of a trader. I usually make long-term investments but sometimes I prefer short-term ones also. And I make the short-term investments with altcoins rather than Bitcoin. Because I don't think that Bitcoin is very ideal for that.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time?
|
on: July 22, 2021, 09:36:20 PM

For that decline, I think the main reasons were Elon Musk and Chinese government. Their manipulations caused the market to fall too much. But now, it looks like this decline has ended. Bitcoin price has started to recover and reached $32k.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years?
|
on: July 17, 2021, 11:09:22 AM
|
It is a very long period to predict something more precisely. For now, Bitcoin adaptation is going on very nicely. Bitcoin is being accepted by various governments and we see it starting to be used in many places. But at some point, I think Bitcoin will start losing its popularity and maybe even be gone. But it's hard to say whether it'll happen in 100 years or less or more.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good plan

I think that there is no problem about this strategy. In the end, you are buying from really advantageous levels considering a new bull run in the future. When the price even reaches its old level ($60k), You'll be in a lot of profit that's for sure. So I think that it's a good choice.

Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving
|
on: July 15, 2021, 10:53:25 PM
|
Firstly, you save a good amount of money. Then, you would consider investing some of it into a cryptocurrency or something different. It's really an important thing to be aware of. Because there have been many people who didn't care about saving much and invested all of their money into a cryptocurrency. This is just a deathwish for a person. It's always better and crucial for one to save a good amount of money not to stay in a bad position.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history.

I also think that these cryptocurrency bans are just temporary. China is a good example for it. They banned cryptocurrencies before but started letting people use them after. Now, they banned the cryptos again. But I don't think this will be permanent also. Eventually, they will let this again. Because I don't think that people will stop using cryptocurrencies still.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ?
|
on: July 15, 2021, 10:40:31 PM
|
As far as I know, all of your coins are gone forever if you die and didn't share the info of your wallet(s) with anyone. Because there's no other way to recover this information about wallets. It's logic is similar to the transactions we make. For example, if we send our coins to a wrong address, then they will be gone forever also.

If there were no poor people, the world would lose productivity. ~snip~
I totally agree with it. I don't like to see poor people of course. Who would want to live like that if he/she had a choice? But this is the rule of the nature I think. Poor people constitute an important part of the economy with their work. If they didn't exist, many sectors would die by now.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real reason why China banned Bitcoin.
|
on: July 03, 2021, 08:41:24 AM

So you say that Chinese government really cares about its people and doesn't want them to make huge mistakes while investing into some cryptocurrencies. But still, it should be left to the people's choice. Because we see many countries letting their people trade cryptocurrencies.

|
on: July 02, 2021, 07:27:21 PM

I can't say that I pay with Bitcoin whenever I have the chance to do so. But mostly, yeah. I don't have many options in my country to pay with Bitcoin yet. But it will change in the future I believe. Even if it changes, I'm waiting for Lightning Network also. There are problems to solve for Bitcoin to deal with bigger transactions.

This coronavirus period has been really good for the cryptocurrency market actually. Because after getting stuck at home, many people have met this market and learned about cryptocurrencies. And the demand increased at a high rate also. We saw that Bitcoin reached a value over $60k. Ethereum also had an incredible run.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ?
|
on: July 02, 2021, 07:16:50 PM

I don't know whether a down trend will be starting or not. I also think that the market is really unpredictable right now. I hope that we see an uptrend rather than it. There have been many people who have bought more Bitcoin after the big dump. They can make a decent profit also if it things go on positively.

on: July 02, 2021, 07:08:55 PM

Bitcoin hasn't still managed to get past $40k resistance. It's very important for it to pass that level because it will help the price go back to a level between 50k and 60k dollars again. Now, we are discussing the probability of another dump also. I hope things don't go that way soon.

Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Prediction: $350k before the end of 2022
|
on: July 01, 2021, 10:14:15 PM
|
It's too optimistic to think like Bitcoin price will be reaching $350k in only one and a half years. I would be really happy if the price reaches even $100k in one year. I think that we need more time to see levels like $350k. It is maybe more than 2 years which we really need.

|
on: July 01, 2021, 10:10:49 PM

Will Bitcoin survive? Yes and of course. Bitcoin will not just survive. It will reach much higher levels than this. In 10 years, I believe that it is very possible to see Bitcoin price reaching $1m level. And its adoption will also be much better than this. There will be many more people who will be using Bitcoin in daily life.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's game plan
|
on: July 01, 2021, 10:02:37 PM
|
China can't be dumb and shouldn't be. It has one of the best economies and it is really good on many fields. But interestingly, it took the risk of losing the power of mining and cryptocurrencies. Because it has big benefits for a country when you allow people to trade and mine crypto.
The reason might be its thinking like cryptocurrencies can harm its currency. I don't know if there is another reason.
