Definitely need a new windows build with assertion errors fixed and working nodes out of the box instead of having users search the thread for the working ones.  There's pretty much no turn key way of getting started with XCN unless you use an exchange wallet.  Was unable to run the wallet on W10, a W7 VM, or building in Linux.

Get your plankton people, it's about to take off again.

  • Make it simpler to install the software, myself and others like when you just have to click install->next->complete
  • A graphical video explanation of the technology
  • A community website.
  • Create a competition for a new logo.(gets people involved)
  • Web-wallet
  • Etc.
1) It's only difficult to run if you want to compile it yourself. If you use the pre-compiled binaries the installation process is that simple.
2) Good idea. I did make a video about the mini-blockchain scheme some time ago, but I removed it because it was outdated. I will try to make another video soon.
3) A community forum will be available at the official website soon. But for now it's easier to keep discussion in this thread.
4) A bounty was already paid to develop the logo, we don't need a new logo and changing the name of the coin now is completely out of the question, it would be a terrible move.
5) I'm working on it.

Yeah keep the logo for sure!  It's outstanding  Cheesy

Hi FOOD Community,

Would POD be something that you would like to see happen?

Two ways we can go by;

Crypto Asian's Proof Of Developer

Coin Source's Trust Index

If there is enough community want for this, we will make it happen.

Cheers,
Chris.

Id go for CryptoAsian.

+1

Wallet isn't syncing with that node list.  This is on a fresh qt run with no previous blockchain data on Windows.

Also the mega link isn't working, says temporary error.

Would be hilarious if this caught on and people were buying up all the used servers on ebay.

Okay, I'll stir the pot a bit. Why is Wolf Rainer a scammer? He built the site and it worked fine and looked good. How is he trying to scam people? If he did the work, he should have been paid.

There was a time when I was going to build the site but didn't have time. I think Wolf did a great job in the end. How does that == scamming? Unless there's something I'm missing.

Im not a scammer, they maded all of this to avoid sending me the payment and to blame someone about the death of the coin. The coin itīs dead cause they dumped all the premine coin and scam all the community.

I just asked Whale to send me the rest 10 millons of food cause i waiting for weeks.

What im going to do with a site and domain whale? Lol, i canīt run away with the page i already maded.

You do have a legit point, there's a TON of plankton dumped into the market right now.

Was there ever any doubt?  It's pretty obvious just looking at the community behind it that the coin is alive and well.

Android app for cryptonote trading

Hello guys!

I made an Android app - Cryptonote Bitcoin!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cryptcoins.cryptonote

- Trade cryptonote coins on HitBTC and Poloniex and get profit;
- Check your balance on exchanges;
- Nice widgets will inform you about last trades of cryptonote coins to bitcoin;
- See your active and trade history on HitBTC and Poloniex;

Cool, but i'm an IOS user. Are there any apps for IOS out there?

You won't see many apps dealing with Crypto, because afaik there are heavy regulations on submissions.  This is why all (with exceptions that stay alive until caught) wallet apps on the appstore only allow viewing of the balance, no sending features etc.
