I have already spent more than 20 BTC out of my own pocket on the development of Cryptonite, I am deeply in the negative right now, and when I have a thread full of trolls saying that I'm a scammer and I must have "made tons of BTC from this", it doesn't give me much incentive to spend even more of my own money on promotion. I will see what I can do however, because you're right, we could use some promotion right now. I think the current strategy is a big problem either because it is ridiculous or non existent at all. The coin is starting to collapse.

I suggest:
1. Set bounties for miners for all card types and operating systems.
2. Start a promotion campaign asap.

Or find a way to cut the supply ASAP.

Collapse is a strong word. Sure the price is still shrinking, but we have to remember that the coin is still very young. I think we should focus on fortifying the technology and make it as bullet-proof as possible. That way we wont have to fear the competition when other mini-blockchain coins starts to appear.

So u mean u run out of cash for future development ?

The problem is u need constant new development for PoW that run forever. Or else u will see what u are seeing now. Price tank without new development , and u need constant BTC to feed PoW that run forever.

Current buy support can only last for a few days or maybe a week.

And we haven't even see AMD farm coming in. Once there is a miner for AMD, expect the worst.

So the question is, by having AMD miner will save the coin ?

People need to remember that Cryptonite is an open source project, not a business or corporation (as many altcoins try to be), and eventually I wont be able to continue spending my own money on development. We already have all the features we intended to include in Cryptonite anyway, the only real development left to do is optimization.

Cryptonite does not have infinite inflation.

Yes. Crytonite is really a bad name for this coin. Rebranding is needed.

"Crypton" is still available without stealing.

There are no halving points, the block reward gets lower every single block. It's already about 1.5 XCN lower than what it started as. After 10 years it will be half of what it started as.

1) It's only difficult to run if you want to compile it yourself. If you use the pre-compiled binaries the installation process is that simple.
2) Good idea. I did make a video about the mini-blockchain scheme some time ago, but I removed it because it was outdated. I will try to make another video soon.
3) A community forum will be available at the official website soon. But for now it's easier to keep discussion in this thread.
4) A bounty was already paid to develop the logo, we don't need a new logo and changing the name of the coin now is completely out of the question, it would be a terrible move.
5) I'm working on it.
