Next week we will race again in Saudi Arabia. Yet those drivers have a pretty good life, earn a lot of money and enjoy racing in the most beautiful cities in the world with always nice weather. You have a lot of pressure and you can't walk down the street quietly anywhere. The same, really, as what top professional football players experience every day. Verstappen is of course the favorite again next week, but that will also be the case at all circuits for the rest of the year. I think the title fight will soon be decided, I don't see who Verstappen can offer competition. Or it must be a mechanical problem at Red Bull. If all engines of all teams remain in order, Verstappen may win 85% of all races this season. Last year he also won a lot. An achievement/record that may never be matched again.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 10, 2023, 09:26:49 PM
PSG is only active in the French league. They are eliminated in all other leagues and tournaments, in the CL and also in the French Cup. The sights can therefore be fully focused on the French league, but if you see the lead, that is no longer interesting. How do players like Messi and Mbappe deal with that? They are used to playing at the highest level for a long time. I think Mbappe would be wise to move to another team, say in the Spanish league with Real Madrid maybe somewhere in the EPL. PSG is not running as a team and I don't think that will happen in the coming years. Probe of his time and talent. Messi ditto.

PSG had plenty of chances to take the lead against Bayern Munich, which actually didn't play well at all. De Ligt's role was especially important, he removed a ball on the line. Otherwise it would have become 0-1 and then you get a completely different game. Then PSG would have really had a great chance to progress. It was of course the cracker of the eighth finals, and the fact is that PSG again failed to win the CL. Would players still want to stay? You have stars in this team but no star team. Real Madrid could also go far, but the draw is after the next round next week.

It seemed an ideal game for Inter to get back into the rhythm today. But Spezia turned out to be a tough opponent today, as Spezia is currently leading 1-0. 55 minutes played so still enough time for Inter, but winning that will now be a difficult story. Expensive points in the battle for 2nd place. can the other teams take advantage of this likely misstep by Inter? There are a few fun matches this weekend. Sampdoria is only getting worse and relegation is now very close in this way.

Liverpool seems to have slowly climbed out of a very deep valley. They are of course still far below their normal ranking on the list, but qualification for the CL is in any case in sight again. Since they are almost certainly eliminated in the CL this season. The difference with Tottenham is 3 points, but Liverpool have played a game less. So I can see that working out. 7 points gap with United is also big, maybe too big but Liverpool is a team that can only win 7 games in a row. I see United lose a few points. Arsenal and Man City are out of category this season, but we could expect that from City too.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 08, 2023, 06:59:03 PM
Can't wait to see how United will start the game tomorrow after the 7-0 defeat last week. Surely such results should be in the heads of players? You can always have a bad day, but in the EL that is already deadly. Real Betis is also definitely not a walk over, they will have to work hard. Real Betis has of course seen better times, but in principle United should be able to continue. On paper, Juventus seems to have drawn very favorably to advance to the next round, but Freiburg is not doing badly in the competition. Juventus still have a very strong squad, perhaps the best individually after United. But that doesn't say everything nowadays.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 08, 2023, 06:15:45 PM
Everyone can lose a match and Lazio Roma is of course still a big name in Italian football, even though they lost to AZ yesterday for the Conference League. Perhaps Napoli will also loosen the reins a bit, by the way, they are still 15 points ahead despite the defeat last week. Championship is 99% already in. The question is who will become 2nd, inter seems to have the best papers due to the current ranking, but given the game image there are even more teams that can claim 2nd place.

Tonight the big game between Munich and Paris. Neymar can't participate in Paris, but maybe they don't worry too much about that. It is mainly Mbappe and Messi who must have a good day to move forward with PSG. I think it's a game that could go either way, but Bayern are the favorites with a 0-1 win in the first game in Paris. The other game tonight could also go either way. Tottenham are the home favourites, but Milan managed to win the first game so it will be 50-50 to go through to the next round.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 05, 2023, 09:09:27 PM
I don't think people will soon build their own casino anymore, that requires complete software packages that save you a lot of time and ultimately money. Setting up a casino doesn't seem difficult to me in essence, but acquiring customers is difficult and you also have to make sure you can pay your players, you have to have enough budget for it otherwise you don't even have to start. There are many people who have ever experienced this as a dream, but in fact you also need a lot of luck that gamblers lose a lot and do not win.

Maybe United are made better than they actually are, otherwise you can't lose 7-0, can you? Admittedly, United have performed well in recent months since the arrival of Ten Hag, but has the playing field always been good you must ask? I think it was not always that good and in many games they were also behind, even up to 10 minutes before the end and they managed to win those games. Good for willpower and self-confidence, but of course not very good quality if you think about it. Anyway, maybe United had a complete off day, I can't think of anything else.

Ajax is not that good. 2 defeats that is acceptable but 7 draws then you leave 14 points. That's really a lot. And if you add those 2 defeats, you are already talking about 20 loss points. unworthy for a team like Ajax, Feyenoord is at the top but was certainly not the favorite at the start of the competition. PSV and Ajax are both disappointing at the moment, but I do not rule out that Ajax will still become champion. It wasn't good today either, but in the end it's the victory that counts.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 05, 2023, 09:01:14 PM
There are people who have made a lot of money gambling. Or should I write that they won that money? That seems like a better description. But there are also many people who once won a big prize gambling and then stopped gambling. They are not busy day and night like many other gamblers do. If you want to gamble and still keep it in your own hands with the success factor minimal, then you should consider becoming a poker professional. No guarantee for success, but at least you have things in your own hands how they go. There are real professionals active in that.

At Roma Juventus, no goals have yet been scored just after the 1st half. And there is a good chance that no goals will be scored at all. Both teams are too eager not to lose, but Juventus are in a position that they have to play all or nothing. At the moment you have nothing to do with draws due to the 15 points that have been deducted. So they will really have to force something with all the consequences that entails. AS Roma thinks a draw is best, I have the idea at the moment. Juventus also have a better chance of success in the EL next week than in the league.

PSG will play Bayern against Bayern on Wednesday evening in Munich. PSG have a wonderful vanguard with Neymar, Mbappe and Messi also close by. Can you imagine what will still be on the bench in the match? If Bayern Munich is not top, then PSG could well win. We all might want a 0-1 score after 90 minutes so we can see an extension. There is a chance that both Mbappe and Messi will not stay at PSG, so the CL must be won this season. Otherwise it will be difficult if the vanguard falls apart.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 05, 2023, 08:49:38 PM
Real Madrid is facing another tough match it seems. At halftime there has not yet been scored and they have to score in the 2nd half if they want to increase the pressure on Barcelona, because Barcelona had already won its match against Valencia today. Ray Vallecano - Athletic Bilbao also finished 0-0 today, not many goals are scored today in the Spanish league. But Real Madrid also has CL again next week (or the week after) so they will probably not throw their strength. And don't want to get injured of course.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 05, 2023, 06:31:04 PM
An old-fashioned title fight between Dortmund and Bayern Munich, old times can be revived, we can safely say. Union Berlin is still in a great 3rd place, but the teams behind it are also getting close very quickly. Still good of Leipzig that they have found the connection with the top in Germany again after a mediocre start. That team also belongs in the top 5 of Germany, of course. In the German league, no less than 4 teams go to the CL, so that would be a nice goal for Union Berlin, but whether it is feasible is another story. They are also still in the EL and make a very solid impression in all matches. Only Bayern Munich seems too good, I think Dortmund may not even be much better than Union Berlin.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 05, 2023, 06:27:26 PM
No problems today for Inter Milan in their home game against Lecce. But that does not say much, the most important games are still to come and then we will see where Inter really stands. The top in Italy is also very wide. The top 10 in it we see many teams that can all handle the level of the CL, for example. In which league besides England could we say more? With that background information, we can perhaps conclude that the Italian league is the strongest league in the world overall?

We pick up where we left off last season in F1: Big show of power from Max Verstappen. Who's actually going to keep him from the title? He started on Pole and no one has ever come close today to deter him from his first GP victory in 2023. It all looked so easy and simple, but it is still high speeds that he reveals . I can imagine that this is no longer fun for the average racing fan. It could be a very boring and monotonous season for Verstappen with new dominance. The season seems to be over before it even started.

Little spectacle at the moment at the game between Liverpool and Manchester United, but both teams want to keep the 0 in the back as long as possible. That would be quite an achievement for Liverpool as they have a very poor run in the league. I think United have enough class to decide this game in the 2nd half, but it won't be a very big result. Maybe 0-1 or 0-2 somewhere, that would be a good day for United. After all, Liverpool was already won at home at the start of the season. When will we hear about Manchester City's penalty?

This week a huge downfall for Utrecht, which lost to an amateur team 1-4 in the cup. Remaining teams in the Netherlands in the cup are now Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord and Spakenburg is the surprise. Tonight is also the draw for the semi-finals. Feyenoord's lead in the competition is only 3 points over Ajax, lose a match and Ajax can already be on top again. And we also get the Feyenoord - Ajax match, so the title fight may already be decided there. Feyenoord has a relatively easier program than Ajax, but that does not always say everything. And Feyenoord is the only Dutch team still active in the EL. A lot of time and energy will be put into that too.
