1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Libra coin over Bitcoin is that possible? on: July 27, 2019, 09:29:17 PM
It might take time for the yet to be release Libra to overtake bitcoin. I doubt if libra can really match the huge market capitalization of bitcoin in just a few years time, bitcoin market cap at present is $170 billion. Libra is reportedly a stablecoin and price is fiat-based so its main competitor is banks instead of the cryptocurrencies.

In terms of market cap Libra will of course overtake bitcoin at first. There is no doubt about that. Since it is a stable currency it has nothing to do with bitcoin and also it is mostly centralized.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bull market come? on: July 27, 2019, 09:28:23 PM
The bull market was started right now but ill think it is only two coins i saw increase the price bitcoin and etherium. Some of coins are not ready to increase yet but it will be going or follow to bitcoin and etherium increase the price so we must wait.

A bull market isn't started within a second or so, it is prepared for a long time and then initiated by some whales as we can see.
Well we can say it is not started yet because some altcoins are not preferably going forward increasing the price, Some of them are on dip price. As you said it prepared for a long time but ill think in this year well be started on what we called a bull run.

Altcoins are not the right indicator to determine whether a bull run has started. Only the major currencies should be considered for that and must be considered.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: July 27, 2019, 09:27:34 PM
This sadly became true, but I hope this is not another sign for a possible downtrend. you never know and the whales are the bosses in this game. Sad
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sign of bull run? on: July 03, 2019, 06:40:30 PM
BTC touch $4187
ETH touch $164
In recent days the market situation has always been green and almost all altcoins have increased. Is this a sign of bull run?

In February 2019 we could see that the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum at the time was still very low. But prices have begun to rise in price increases. And the culmination of the price increase is happening now. A Bull run happened but Bitcoin and Ethereum still have the potential to pump even higher.

No question that would happen, this year we already achieve a good increase, this ins't small increase since bitcoin has rise more than 200% already from its low this year, ETH as well doing great job to be able to hold while bitcoin is influencing its price.
The big run that would possibly bring more significant increase has not come yet, that will come very soon for sure.

Wasn't it almost down to 3,500 or so? From there it is more like a 350% increase and that is very positive. No investor in the world could complain about making 350% on an investment within half a year.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: July 03, 2019, 06:39:33 PM
Even though it went down now a little bit together with Bitcoin, I still think it is looking strong and won't go very low from here.
As the market progresses these past days, all the cryptocurrency community rejoices and silently prayed for a continuous growth rather than fall. However, the drop in ethereum or any altcoin and even bitcoin is not inevitable. The trend may go up and down but we always look forward of a greener one in the coming days.

The drop is not inevitable? Are you saying that it is possible it only goes up? Doesn't make any sense to me and I am sure that we will see drops from time to time.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bull market come? on: July 03, 2019, 06:38:02 PM
Bull Market seems to be already here as bitcoin comfortably traded at over $11000 which was its all time high since March 2018. This is a natural growth and its slow but steady which has made it sustainable

I believe that this year the market will recover again. because the market that is happening right now is the market situation that we will have for the umpteenth time. so if there is a good opportunity in increasing the market, we must use it well. because not always the market will grow well too

The market already has recovered for its most part. To me it doesn't by far look as bad as it used to a year ago.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Libra coin over Bitcoin is that possible? on: July 03, 2019, 06:37:12 PM
Which institutions are negatively talking about it? They are partnering with plenty of institutions right from the start. Please back that up with a source where you found that information.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 28, 2019, 02:59:13 PM
Libra is not for Banks it is for end users. And they are not developing payment system for banks.Ripplenet and XRP vs Libra is something quite different I think.

Exactly libra is not a competitor of ripple since they are not planning of being a coin to settle transfers between banks.

Not yet, but I think even such possibilities might already be discussed with the biggest banks in the world and especially those in the US.

Now everything is in speculation which we don't have any idea what are they future thoughts about the Libra coin but as of now we already understand Libra is also one of Centralised coin like Ripple. We have to wait and see once they start releasing the coin to the public.

Not sure about the mechanics behind Ripple compared to Libra, but yes they are both centralized. That's why there is a place for digital assets like Bitcoin. And there will be a place for it forever.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: June 28, 2019, 02:40:10 PM
well, I think people's trust in ETH is greater than waves. for now, I believe that the price of ETH will go up, and leave further waves. in fact, for now, most people only focus on the development of ETH.
From where you can say people putting their trust on ETH is greater than waves? ETH value increased only because got affected with bitcoin value which recently went up (still increasing until now), but based on btc, it's still same like before (0.028-0.03 ish)

He definitely has a point. Ofc you can say that people trust more on ETH than on Waves. Just look how many new ICO/IEO are on the Ethereum blockchain and how many well-known projects do we have on Waves. It's a still a long way ahead for Waves to get more adoption.
Well, based on that, I conclude that ETH is still very much needed today compared to waves for now. we don't know in the future, but I only pay attention to current developments. maybe not everyone thinks that ETH is better than waves, and basically the two coins are indeed very potential. it's just that, in my opinion, now ETH is still better than waves based on its use in new projects nowadays.

ETH keeps growing faster than Waves is growing. Something has to fundamentally change in order for Waves to have a chance to catch up. Don't know if that is likely to happen but it doesn't look that way for now.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Promising Altcoins to Invest in 2019 on: June 28, 2019, 02:36:36 PM
It will be never a mistake if a newbie decides to invest in top-10 cryptocurrencies. However, here I will not recommend him to deal with Ripple, as too many coins have been circulating on the market. XRP price can drop.

Ripple is also completely different from all those other coins that are in the top 10 right now.

The supply ins't an issue actually, XRP did fall but it's because of the bear run, but looking its achievement in the bull market, it's the most profitable coin that time.

I am not sure I understand why the supply is not an issue. Could you tell me why you think it does not matter?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 28, 2019, 02:28:18 PM
There is one issue though compared to years ago: we have a lot of stable coins, so people might choose to rather park their money in a stable coin when they think bitcoin might stagnate. I do agree though that still some of the money will go into alts.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBU - The Security Token Protocol and Licensed Security Token Exchange on: June 28, 2019, 02:20:50 PM
What was the situation after the ICO? Did they promise to burn the rest of the tokens or did they announce the possibility for an IEO?
they stopped the ICO because the funds collected were few and chose to look for private investors, but I don't know why now they chose to hold the IEO
But I personally want to ask also whether the decision by stopping the ICO is the right decision or not and maybe only the team can answer it but I also want to see answers from others
Just like we have seen happened to some projects that organized ICO and yet switched to IEO, I think Mobu is also experiencing the same. He market seem not to be that favourable for ICO generally.
Also, Mobu has not been able to come out with reports on whether they got more private investors or not and I think with the decision to organize an IEO, it !eams they are in need of more investors for the fundraising.

Hi dear community,

We will raise capital via Entoro as mentioned and planning an IEO.  The legalities for Entoro platform is a lengthy process, please remain patient.

We are in talks with various exchanges but trust us very few of them raise actual capital.  We need to consider the liquidity afterwords and effect of price.  We are acting in your best interest.

Also on the note of Yaros Belkin`s article, please see our factual response:

Thank you for your understanding and patience
MOBU Team

You are asking for patience again, but you have had a lot of time already to make plans. What's your schedule now? Can you give some insight on that?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sign of bull run? on: June 28, 2019, 02:19:49 PM
Each time when cryptocurrencies add at least +5%, most guys start talking about the bull run. Suppose, the current situation is not a true bull run, but stable growth of the crypto market, which is even better.

Thats a reality. Too many people get excited about crypto when a few percent go up. They should more look at the fundamentals.

But what can you feel when crypto are moving up event though there are no fundamentals.

I won't argue that fundamentals is very important, but some times there are hype causing the price to spike and this is the time that we need to take advantage of by taking some profits from the side.

Right now we are already in the bull run, so we might as well back track and see what factors causes it.

Yes but fundamentals are more important. Why? When you take profits and Bitcoin drops in price, someone else loses. That someone might hate crypto then, but we want everybody to like it. As long as we are all certain that the fundamentals are strong, it will remain a fair game for everybody.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Libra coin over Bitcoin is that possible? on: June 28, 2019, 02:18:17 PM
i think libra coin can succeed and has more chance to succeed in the future than bitcoin facebook instagram and twitter have more users and more chances to be successful in the future than bitcoin good luck for all Smiley
can not be predicted that Libra will pass bitcoin later because Libra not yet proof self in the crypto market although Libra has many communities on Facebook and not necessarily all Facebook users know about Crypto so in my opinion it is impossible for Libra to compete with bitcoin in the crypto market

I don't even understand how Libra is supposed to pass bitcoin. Do you mean in market cap? Or what else? There is no point in comparing the two to each other.

If that ever happens, which I don't believe, I will also eat my dick! Tongue I guess John is still sweating for Bitcoin to go to a million! Tongue

Hi;

As long as America's world leadership fight continues, I see the possibility of a global adaptation of a Russian based project to be zero.

Kind regards.

It doesn't have to be Russian based forever, it could also be run by Russians but from elsewhere or if it is sufficiently decentralized it could be fine, too.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: June 23, 2019, 07:53:24 PM
but the BNB moves quickly, I have a hard time predicting the price. especially with binary events that make growth fast and unstable. because some corrections we can see happen quickly too.

With BNB it is really very difficult to make a prediction.
I guess a lot of people are waiting for major correction, but with every IEO on the launchpad the price just keeps rising.

Do you think there should be a major correction? Binance is very profitable and if they keep their promises and let BNB holders participate, why should it face a correction?
