I may be interested in cards with fan issues or other problems depending on the make/model so let me know what you have and I'll let get back to you. Bulk deals are also a possibility. Here are the specific models I am interested in. Payment in Bitcoin with or without escrow depending on rep/trust.

Hello David, How are you and the elves doing? Working on that Christmas update I hope! Please tell us Santa will bring us some good news this Holiday Season, mmmm like how bout a option for existing customers to "upgrade" to 14nm units and a piece of the so called company pie like Alpha offered up in their compensation plan, we've stuck with you for this long (through no fault of our own) If BA plans to stick around, they are gonna need US...the original suckers, *cough sorry investors. What do you say David, I'll even offer to travel to the north pole if Santa needs a hand with this. Teamplayer here.

^^^ lol

But.... seeing as I took delivery of an X1 earlier this month it looks like I'll (allegedly) be missing out on a X1.5.

That's good. People who ordered after me get a more powerful product.
Feeling the love here  Undecided

I ordered a year ago and have gotten nothing. No X3, no X1s. Now they talk about 14nm. What a joke. If they get one single preorder then i will have seriously lost faith in human intelligence.

Both BA and MinerSource claim they will no longer be doing pre-orders (after this royal screwup) BA is however looking for investment backers people with more money than brains to try and raise the necessary money that way...

Please keep me up to date with this yeah? While I might not be able to get my money back, I'd like to hear a story about someone who has. Where in the US are you located? Relatively close to MS? I'd go by yourself if I were in your shoes

Package was refused yesterday so yea I aim to go and make sure this is handled properly...I'm in WA state about as far from BA as one can get and still be in the US, no matter its only about a 5 hour flight. Will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I didn't know MS had anything to do with MicroCenter, that strikes me as odd. as far as refusing delivery, I think its a case of damned if you do damned if you don't, if you take the junk now u have something, however that something may burn your house or building down at any time or cease to function like has happened to many others here and then its SOL. Don't want to do the legal part but looks like no other choice, I PMed Bob and he has yet to get back to me.

Bob doesn't give a fuck, he's too busy getting stoned on our dollar to give two shits about anything. I wish you all the best in your refusal. I know if I lived in the US, I would have paid that piece of shit a visit a long time ago to get my money back

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps he is too busy selling his used equipment in the buy/sell marketplace subforum, things must be worse than we thought...fire sale time. Seriously though if anyone is interested in an adventurous "expedition" out to MS please PM me and we can discuss.

(copied to prevent deletion on the moderated thread)

Has anyone tried refusing delivery and demanding something better from MS such as Spondoolies or equivalent ? I wonder if that is possible. Just getting burned so bad it hurts.

I've refused the shipment last week, I wasn't expecting anything anymore from Minersource and suddenly someone tried to deliver the 2 X1's. Sad thing is my order was removed from the shipping queue months ago (cancelled) and I was promised a refund, which I never received.

I would be happy if they even refunded me half of what I paid by now..

I've tried to contact Minersource several times but they've been ignoring everybody for weeks now..

Good luck, hopefully BA and MS will do the right thing and start refunding their customers.

Thanks for letting me know, I will be refusing delivery of my order today, anyone interested in going down to MS personally please get in touch with me, I am planning a trip out there. We can be like that guy camping out at Gox, wonder how they will like that shit.

No, I'm not mining with mine, plugged it in to test it works then boxed it back up again. Going to try to sell it to at least recoup some costs.

As for anyone refusing delivery... I would have done so but the missus was home at the time. The cheeky fuckers didn't send me a notice of shipment or even update it on my ticket obviously to catch me off guard. I know someone on here refused delivery and it caused a bit of a shitstorm from memory with legal threats from MS if my memory serves me right. Funny they only want to talk when it suits them

Wait, what? Legal threats from MS? That is laughable...It's hard to know the best thing for me to do in this case, I could very well refuse the whole shipment, 300lbs (60lb x 5) of miners bouncing back n forth from MS should make for good business @ UPS at least and would likely get MS's attention, hmmm decisions decisions.

Finally received notice of shipment from MS last week, expecting my 5 X-3's to arrive on Monday. Supposedly they have fixed the power supply issue (yea right). Virtually impossible to get any info from MS at this point, they have seemingly all but shut down communications. I did speak with the former co-founder of MS (Dan) last week, and he did confirm he has left the company, claimed he was going back to school. Good idea, get out of the burning building while he still can. Still don't know what I'm going to do with this junk when it arrives, I suppose I'll try heating my house during the winter until it catches fire and inevitably murders my whole family, there's a Christmas present worth celebrating! So who's working on the class action already???

At least they gave you notice. They unknowingly shipped my pile of shit (X1) to my door despite the 50 or so emails stating the contrary. Bunch of assholes, hope they go bankrupt

Are you mining with yours then? I have tried many many times to get a refund, but no dice. Figure can always join the class action later and try in vain to recover whatever scraps remain in the near future...here's hoping! These guys are done for...

Finally some movement in the Bitcoin price. Arbitrage was becoming very difficult with the price only moving 0.01% each day.

More payments sent now.

All payments that were promised to be sent by today have been sent. More PMs and emails are being sent out now with estimated refund dates.

Thanks for the update, keep us posted.
