I predict that on the day of the halving in 2020 the bitcoin price will be $1666.
Come on... why so conservative? My prediction is between 5 and 10 ten times that. So: $8,330 < BTC < $16,660

I'm a bit OT here, but did you see this image of a Jupiter's aurora captured some days ago with the Hubble telescope?

I propose a soft fork now to blacklist bitfinex bitcoin adreeses and after that a hard fork so we revert the bitcoin blockchain before bitfinex crash. If this happen all the ppl can get their money back and to revert the mistake that have done. If this happen we give a good signal to the media that there is guts to bitcoin system and that we can protect always our friends. I advice anyone to be more carefull in the future. I don't know, this suggestion seems to me so much ethereal...

Let me quote and correct myself: Seems that times are going to be less boring: BTC reached $454 some minutes ago and it's still May! Seems that times are going to be less boring: BTC reached $454 $479 some minutes ago and it's still May!

Funny to see how, in this game shifting, the peak oil theory has vaporized too. It isn't anymore on the radar and everybody stopped talking about it...

-snip- I thought it was a bit OT, but then I noticed a lot of verification requests also in this thread.
I think we should to let people try here. Its not the same as staking an address. I see it more as the opportunity of a playground. Posting a signed message here that someone else can verify also shows me that people are actually able to sign message, while a "thx, learned it" does not and often feels like a spam post just to increase the counter by one. Thanks for the verification btw. Yes, at the end I got it. My first intention was just a little try to help keeping clean your usefull thread, but the playground idea is indeed the best way to check if people have understood how it works. Thanks for your how-to, Shorena. In these days it seems that even Satoshi has problems to sign a message: your tutorial should be sent to him!

Well, everything could be... But should it really be the case, then I personally would like to slow down here; I think SN's anonymity, after all, is well deserved if he wants so.

Did you noticed on that site the one good friend who didn't leave his kind words after learning about Dave's passing in spite of being entrusted with 1.1M bitcoins [now in an unmovable trust excepting moving some bitcoins in a couple weeks to prove that there are five lights]?
I think we can easily guess without visiting that page... I was curious to see the video about Kleiman that Wright posted on his youtube channel. It is embedded here (about the middle of the page): http://gizmodo.com/this-australian-says-he-and-his-dead-friend-invented-bi-1746958692But it has been deleted... Something to hide?

Thanks, as far as I can see, it seems a legit account. Not even in the following page, where it seems are listed people passed away on 26 April.

Can it be verified, somehow, if this FB account is real? I mean, this man is supposed to be 91-92 years old when that message was posted.

I think it will end just like the last Wright's extraordinary claim of the last December: a few hours of downward retracement.
Indeed, BTC is again over $450, just where it was when it started. The road to 500 could be less difficult than we think.
