601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 26, 2017, 08:00:27 PM
Hey team! Your suggestion is not fair for at all. You must award early participants with bonus in case you delayed crowdsale end at least

SOMA distributed 8162211 SCT /450 = 18,138 ETH which is around 5,4 million USD
Only 10 hours left for the end of token sale.
I would say that is a pretty good amount of money!

I think the correct calculation must be given without 6M SCT reserved for growth (not sold)
 8162211 - 6000000 SCT /450 = ~4,805 ETH

Thank you for this correction. I didn't know that reserved tokens were included in the ''Total tokens distributed'', isn't this a bit misleading? Or is this something that all ICO's do?

On token sale page is stated as "Total tokens distributed" so it's not misleading.

it is still quite much money for a plattform dont you think?

Should be enough if they won't go rest on resorts Grin

edgeless on Korean exchange  Smiley :

https://twitter.com/edgelessproject?lang=fr

UPbitExchange is brand new exchange and is partnered with Bittrex, so I think it will become the most popular exchange in Korea, EDG will go up and be bought by Koreans.

Does that mean EDG will be listed on upbit due to a lot of demand and interest by Korean people?
I would like to trade over there if it supports people to create accounts outside Korea.

Already listed. Check https://www.upbit.com/exchange?code=CRIX.UPBIT.BTC-EDG About accounts outside Korea I don't have information.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: October 25, 2017, 09:59:34 AM

607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops on: October 25, 2017, 08:16:09 AM
The further price go down, the better growth can expect.  Smiley Decline is not panic sell or something like that. Next target - $6700
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc value on: October 24, 2017, 05:03:38 PM
hi all, new in here do all think that the value of btc is going up again?
We are getting very close to the fork so I think we are going to see a nice increase in price maybe up to 6500 in the next days, that is not going to last of course as people stop selling their bitcoin gold for bitcoin but that is going to give us all some easy profits, when the price of bitcoin suffers a correction and we are able to buy it back cheaper than what we sold.

We have good support zone between 5 500 - 5 750 USD. I except move to 6600 - 6700 USD (~20%) too according to last move  before fork
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 24, 2017, 04:47:46 PM
I think this projects true valuation with be more than we expect given a time frame of 6 months to a year. This one is for long term hold. Smiley

this is what i thought too. great to have proofen it by a senior member

Q2 2018 MVP release... I don't even think to sell any STU till that period. Team is great. Total supply will not huge. I smell the profits  Smiley
610  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: October 23, 2017, 06:51:30 AM
For people who say such things may not mean their intent is that bitcoin is really dead, but it's possible that sometimes their predicted price on btc are not as expected and bitcoin price are falling in sustainable, and they think btc may not have a future the good one. But the fact is very contrary to the reality, btc continues to show its strength and the value has been proven lead to heights and even more popular among many people.

Like Martin Armstrong's negative things. Say that all will be destroyed and one maybe one day you will be right  Grin

612  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN END PRICE on: October 20, 2017, 06:30:07 PM
The way bitcoin price has been increasing has been alarming lately and I can say that no other currency has the amount of power that bitcoin has, I can remember vividly sometime during January ( I mean early January) bitcoin was only struggling to reach $1k but now come October, the currency is almost nearing $6k ($5600) to be precise, now I want to ask if there is a mark in which bitcoin will stop increasing or is there  a mark it can't cross.

Situation with bitcoin is very similar to stocks market. When something will happened in global economy investors will exit from risky assets, especially from crypto

Oh... Looks interesting. Don't know much about Komodo and Supernet side chains. Can we mine MNZ in asset chain or mining rewards will going to KMD miners? Who can explain?
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 12:49:23 PM

615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 16, 2017, 04:46:55 PM
i really would like to know, how much money they already rised during this ico.

afaik, they want to have collect like 40-50m Dollar during the ico, but i really dont know the softcap, but according to the website it should be around 30million which is really a lot ><

a counter on the website recoding the fundraising would be nice to have >< but we still got 10 days left ><

Hard cap is 120,000 ETH
That is a lot of money, I cant find anywere what the softcap is so I think there isnt a soft cap.

I'm sure this project will go on even without hitting that hard cap.

Yep. There are no soft cap.

I thinkin of buying some: small cap and existing alpha. Can be good investment/
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: October 16, 2017, 10:27:06 AM
Techonology: It's Not
if we are talking about the user perspective that can be possible!  Cool

If somebody will get 51% of hashrate then technologically also possible. You can also learn about all bitcoin weaknesses from http://en.bitcoinwiki.org/Bitcoin_weaknesses
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A perfect bitcoin use-case on: October 16, 2017, 07:01:14 AM
Smart move from wikileaks - did not use Bitpay or similar service that immediately convert btc to usd after transaction
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Own Crypto Hedge Fund - Token Sale Sep 11 on: October 15, 2017, 04:04:19 PM
I'm also very interested what the price was for the ICO?

The price was setted in USD - 0.6 USD with ETH ~300 is ~0.0020 ETH. So for now on exchanges ENG has ICO prices
619  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 Days back i sold 17 BTC for 4968 $ on bittrex - i regret on: October 14, 2017, 07:58:47 PM
Growth will slow down in next period and after fork I think we will see some dump below 5 000. So wait and do not give in FOMO.

He has already sold out the bitcoins he has now speculation can't do anything right.
Why you expecting this growth will downfall to low again. I am really worry to stop bumping the current price movement.
Hardfork may takes us to sky rocket value also we cannot say we can see dump only in that time. Like last time this time also price value increase to peak value again.
Do buying still because you can get the profit still with this amount hitting in the price index.

I might be wrong, of course, but what impulse for supporting previous one move? Buying now is fomo only
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading dilemma on: October 14, 2017, 06:29:14 PM
I hope that bitcoin fork will cause new money flow into altcoins with solid background.
I really hope so too. If all things should work well, at first we will get the BCG dumped for BTC, then after the coast is a bit clear, we will start seeing some of the altcoins rising again. Eventually, all the altcoins will bounce back to their original position even if it will take a while looking at the rate they have been massacred presently.

I'm glad that I am not alone in my thinking Grin. Good sign - we have some recovery in most prospective alts
