Waking the dragon.
Currently we are in the process of rebuilding our organization. If we have learned anything from the last few months with this product, it’s that nothing will go as we planned. Our team of semi-professionals was somewhat big (or so it seemed to us) in the beginning and we thought the essential roles for an organization were filed, what we learned however was that we did not know the first thing about the roles required in a global organization of this scale and magnitude. At every turn we ran into roadblocks due to our own lack of preparation. Miscommunication and lack of team cohesion also lead to a large amount of delays and otherwise unnecessary struggle.

All's not lost however. We took some time to sort our organization out, further time is required, and it’s going to be long grueling work building the processes we need to survive in the real world… And that’s the real kicker, we all had theory about how this was going to go, but none of us imagined what was holding us up wasn’t our talent as developers nor a lack of vision for the company, but rather the simple things that make any organization succeed like schedule synchronization and having a single location to store all of your company information.

On-going partnerships and development
We are actively pursuing two partnerships; one with a well established eSports organization and another with a new up and coming gambling platform similar to ours (however, far more focused on the casino aspect).

We are nearing the end of our deal with this eSports organization (that is taking GBT as a form of payment!) as their lawyer is currently in the process of drafting the final agreement. However, he has been unavailable due to personal reasons. Once we have formed this pact, we will reveal more information about this. Also, we are working with a new gambling platform which will allow us to offer casino styled games throughout the site a bit earlier then we had intended. This agreement is still in its infancy but we will release more details about it when we are able to.

Unfortunately, we have to be hush-hush about things for now since nothing is finalized we cannot publicly disclose names. However, we are anxious to share this with and will do so as soon as possible


Gamebet Token Ownership

Gamebet.GG S.A. offered early users the opportunity to take part in our Gamebet Token sale and loyalty reward program.  Gamebet.GG S.A. sold users tokens which, as a whole, are entitled to 10% of Gamebet profits generated through fees collected from match betting pools and through fees collected from the buying / selling of in-game items in the Gamebet marketplace.

Gamebet Token owners must register their GBT address(s) via our GBT registration page, which verifies their ownership, in order to be eligible to receive the monthly Gamebet.GG S.A dividends.  Gamebet Token owners may register a GBT address as well as a BTC address (to receive profit share payouts) within the Gamebet.GG S.A. system.  These dividends will be paid out monthly at the end of each month.  However, Gamebet.GG S.A. reserves the right to change the dividend issuing schedule (cycle) in order to make the process as efficient as possible.  The amount paid out per token will depend on how many tokens out of the total number issued are held in addresses registered with Gamebet.GG S.A.  Token owners are also encouraged to submit a Bitcoin address with their GBT address(s) in order to receive their dividend in Bitcoin.  Token owners will receive Gamer Gold in their Gamebet.GG accounts if they do not register a Bitcoin address.
  
At the end of each cycle a payment will be made to each Gamebet Token owner that has registered based on the amount of GBT held in their registered address vs the total supply of GBT held in registered addresses.  Payments will be made directly to the registered BTC address if the GBT owner has registered their Bitcoin address with Gamebet. Token holders will receive their payment in the form of Gamer Gold which may be used to place bets, purchase marketplace items, or withdrawn as Bitcoin whenever they wish.

Gamebet.GG S.A. was able to reach the max loyalty reward program payout schedule due to the outstanding participation by our early users.  This means that the Gamebet Token owner dividend payout schedule will work as follows:
 

• The start of the first month will begin once Gamebet begins its advertising/marketing campaign
• Gamebet Tokens in registered addresses will receive 30% profit share initial 6 month period
• Gamebet Tokens in registered addresses will receive 20% profit share second 6 month period
• Gamebet Tokens in registered addresses will receive 10% profit share in the second year and beyond

Before I begin this update, I’d like to apologize for a lack of responsiveness as of late. I’ve had some family emergencies and in my absence there were numerous attacks on our infrastructure (that I had John post from my account) as we began migrations and setting up new servers.

A minor amount of withdrawals encountered errors while automatically being processed due to these back end infrastructure migrations we have been executing. The majority of withdrawals processed smoothly and any withdrawals that were previously held up have been taken care of accordingly now.

We’re currently working on integrating the key components of the new UI to the site and we’re eager to reach the point where we can complete our transition. However, until this point we will leave the “old UI” intact as the main page. In the new UI we’ve developed, it’s already possible to prove ownership of a GBT address (and there by register it for dividend payouts). Currently, there is not a way to add a default dividend BTC address, and this will be added in the near future (before the end of the month).

We encourage users to offer feedback as we integrate and mold the new site - for example, one user mentioned there are too many matches on the index page. We agree with you . We intend on paginating the content on the match filter to allow you to browse through matches easier and this is just one of many changes that we’re still continuing to work on.

We’ll be having a Discord meeting on the 12th (Sunday) at 12:00pm PST. At this time, we will be looking to announce our official stance on the legality of GBT and what you as an investor can expect from us going forward. Of course, we’ll be talking about the changes we’re working on as well

In other news, I (Daily Modo) have been independently working with two other groups outside of GameBet who’re developing projects in regards to Binary Options Trading for specific altcoins (and other tickers) as well as a Dice project. While I can’t provide details about either of these (as I’ve been asked to be brief) you can expect the Dice site will have a unique twist to it that will make it quite different from existing dice sites.

To clarify my role with these groups, I’ve been asked to organize update posts, coordinating their teams and serve as an advisor to impart onto them my past experiences as well as things I’ve learned while working on GameBet. I’d like to stress, working with these groups will not derail my time spent on GameBet, as it is my intent to help get these groups on the right track such that once they become well established GameBet can officially partner with them in the future.

Hey everyone, Quick update here as we expect to be releasing the beta version of our new UI today. We have a release schedule planned, and we will put the beta site active today for everyone to use!

We ask for your patience and understanding as we roll out the update in chunks, we are also currently dealing with some ddos attacks and issues in our game servers, so progress has been a little slower than we had hoped, but the results show for themselves.

We understand there's a lot of FUD going on right now, its only natural as we approach a big update like this, however keep in mind the coin price is linked to the amount of work we put in and the amount of money the business generates, to that end we are still pursuing major marketing angles regardless of coin price, and are in talks of finalizing a deal with a major eSports org which has chosen to take gamebetcoin for their payment, which is huge.

Hey, here with an update on things as not too long from now we’ll be looking to released some of the new content with the new UI and what we’ve been working on in the last few weeks.

I’d like to start by announcing there will be a Discord meeting as per usual this weekend on Sunday at 12:00 PST. Hope you guys can make it out as we’re looking to get a representative from one of the teams we’re looking to start actively backing as well as partner with to come talk to you and share a little bit of news with you about who they are. I’d like to stress that our deal with teams are not finalized yet, nor is the appearance of this representative but it is something extra to potentially look forward this weekend .

Soon, our current deals we’re working through should be finalized and we will be able to publically announce names and some of the specifications of our partnership. We are however continuing to look for other organizations to actively partner with in the future.

Ark has had a steady player base of around 20 - 30 users, which we will be looking to run community events on the next map wipe and look to double the traffic within the week.
In regards to CS:GO we are in the process of configuring a 1v1 multi arena server which will be online this weekend and announced on the Discord. We will be extending channels in our Discord to be friendly towards those playing games but as an alternative there will be a Team Speak server as some prefer that.

The project is alive and well! I apologize for the lack of communication in the last few days and this was mainly due to my absence. CryptoDev (Discord name) and Xypher filled in for maintaining updates (as well as holding the regular Discord meeting on the 15th), while I was gone. With that said, we’re here with some updates for you guys.

New Beta Site, Timeline, etc.
The plan is to release the beta for the new site on the first. The site is still undergoing active development and when we release it on the 1st of June it will continue to be developed as we have plenty of things we’re continuing to work on. It is important to note that we noticed it was incorrectly stated that this new content would be released in late May by a non-dev post please note that the new UI will be public after the 1st of June, as well as this will mark the beginning of the first cycle and major marketing (which has already begun).

Partnerships - Crypto
Currently, we’re looking to open dialog to any existing coins as well as potential new coins that will be started in the near future who have similar interests to ours (gaming, esports, gambling, etc). Partnerships - Esports
Likewise, we are looking to begin sponsorship and partnership with esports organizations. We are looking for established organizations who have prominent influence over media services such as Twitch, Twitter and Youtube. We have already received a few applications from very promising organizations but we will continue to review applications going forward. While we may not accept your application currently, we will look to open dialog and possibly look to form a partnership in the near future. Servers
We’re looking into setting up a TS3 server as an alternative to Discord as TS3 is another well established form of VOIP in the world of gaming. This will prominently be used by players on our various servers we’re looking into setting up. Currently, we’re looking into setting up a CSGO 1v1 server as it is the most popular game mode outside of competitive play. Continuing to set up servers will allow us to further establish our brand. Our Ark servers are continuing to maintain steady population and we will look into monetizing them in the near future.

Hey guys, here to offer an update on a few things as always.

Steam

We've been working on building our Steam community page and connecting with our users - we're currently up to 100+ users in this group. If you're a user of stream, please join http://steamcommunity.com/groups/gamebetGG.

Our community strategy involves using our Discord server with designated channels for our gaming community. We will mainly be focusing on engaging mature audience of gamers to merge with the Bitcoin community by building the steam community group discussions and rule pages rather than the traditional website approach.

Twitter / Social Media
We have also been working on revamping our work on twitter. Over the past week we have seen a fivefold increase in followers and user engagement. Our presence in twitter is also visible in our internal analytics - which has shown a 300% hike in the number of impressions we obtain. Our previous all time high for a single day was at 4000 impressions , and our current high is at 12,000 impressions. Of course, this is is bound to increase as we create a more active presence on twitter. We are actively engaging with teams and individuals to on board them as partners to help with promoting the project. While the current marketing itself does not convert to an active user base it is laying the groundwork for a blitzkrieg once the new UI kicks in.

Hey guys, we wanted to drop in and answer some questions since we did not post an update yesterday -

To reiterate what we have previously said, since we will be starting the first cycle in June, when the cycles ends in July, it will be paying out from the start of the cycle to the end. We discussed this heavily with our community both on the forums and on Discord and the general consensus was to not start until June 1st as we are initially starting with a 30% value (which will be decaying over time down to an eventual cap of 10%).

Yes, merchandise will be purchasable with GBT some examples of merchandise we may have in the future such as t-Shirts, Sweaters, Steam Gift Cards, etc. We are open to ideas for merchandise and when we’re at this stage in our product we’ll be polling the community about what their preferences are in this regards

We are working towards getting added on other exchanges, however it is not a huge priority at his time. There are several exchanges where you can actively trade GBT. The core focus right now is on development as well as marketing. Ensuring our product is refined as well as our user base is a greater key component of success in contrast to getting listed on other exchanges.

We'll be looking to set up game servers as well as start building a Steam community around some of the popular Steam Games such as Ark, TF2 and CS:GO. Once we're ready to proceed on this front, we'll be releasing all the server information. We will look to have a page set up for this (including server status and details) on the new UI.

Hey guys, here with a small update about how things are going - this post will be fairly brief.

Development
We’ve been working on integrating the new UI and are in the process of tweaking it to work with live data, we’re hoping this week that we’ll have some screenshots to show you in regards to this. We are still running on our expected schedule and ideally everything will be ready for June the 1st which is when the first cycle will officially begin.

Marketing
Twitter has been going fairly steady with a growth rate of ~60 new followers every day. If you haven’t already, follow us on twitter as we’ll be doing a giveaway this week! We’re now beginning to work on the Twitch.tv side of things where we will be looking to campaign and increase our growth through popular streamers for CS:GO (as this program grows, so will the games we target on Twitch as well as the number of streamers we support).

Hey guys, here with a little bit of updates and news, but first allow us to address two things.


Statistics
This information (user count, total bets, total bet amount in GG/SS, etc.) will be released on June the 1st when our first cycle begins. We will look to do a follow up on this and release statistics once again in mid-June (15th). Going forward, we will look to release statistics at the first of each month so please stay tuned.

In regards to what you've said (@Relaxedsense) please ensure you're emailing business@gamebet.gg and not support@gamebet.gg. If you accidently email support, it will get forwarded to business if required, but may not get processed as quickly in contrast to emailing business directly.

C-Cex
Due to timezone conflict and the platform they've requested we use, there has been a delay in us being able to dialog with them. We anticipate all will be resolved with them before the end of this weekend (assuming they are able to dialog with us over the weekend and not strictly on business days).

Frontend Integration
We've started on front end integration, the front-end redesign has been completed! We'll be releasing screenshots in the upcoming week in regards to this (of the new UI with live/real data). We know you've all anxiously been awaiting this - it's not too far off!

Hey guys, small update here in regards to some news.

We've followed up on a lot of the emails for people who've reached out for the Steam Cards and they're currently being processed. We apologize for the delay, but they're on the way

Our Trello ( https://trello.com/b/pwAl1X5m/gamebet-gg-public-board ) has a few updates such as our projected timelines, what's actively being worked on and our Twitter campaign so check that out and stay informed about what's going on in the project. In regards to our Twitter campaign, it's proving to be going quite well as we have acquired 150 more followers in the last 24 hours.

C-Cex is a hot topic as many people have been asking if we've followed up with them. We reached out to them a long time ago and are in the process of getting them what they require. They've requested a personal meeting with us, so we're working on scheduling that to ensure we get listed as soon as possible. We assume that this is possibly due to the nature of our coin (i.e. part of the reason it's so difficult to be listed on Bittrex) but we're confident once we dialog with them that we will be listed.

Marketing and Research
In the next few days, we'll be looking to do a $20 Steam card giveaway on Twitter for retweeting (winner will be chosen randomly from a list of people who've retweeted). This will be mentioned in the tweet and we will be looking to post this within the next 24 hours. We will look to do giveaways similar to this repeatedly in the next few weeks and prizes may vary. This will allow us to gauge as well as start interacting with one of our primary demographics (Steam users).

We are currently looking to conduct some research in regards to the current referral model. For this, we are looking to recruit 10 individuals interested in participating - we will also be recruiting from other communities (i.e. Steam) so please send us an email at business@gamebet.gg if you are interested. After we’ve completed this research we will be releasing several forms of media to aid with the referral program (refer to the Media section).

Media and Content
There are some (new) screenshots of work that’s been done on the the UI which is still a work in progress, but near completion! Keep your eye on this as we’ll be updating this.

In the next week, we will be releasing another video trailer for review about the GameBet platform as well as starting soon on our weekly hype-coverage of an upcoming eSports match.

We will also be releasing in the near future media and content to help with referrals such as banners, graphics and pre-written text.

As you know, there’s been a lot of frantic discussions lately about the price and the dump that happened yesterday. People have speculated that it was (the developers) behind the dump and we understand why this is the case. For this reason, here are the two dev-fund addresses. Please note the reason 1,000,000 GBT is not held in total is because the remainder was distributed across nodes to in the begining to secure the network. There are however of course expenditures in regards to paying for certain bounties like translations. Hey guys, here with another update after the conclusion of the groups Friday meeting.

Steam Cards
We will be issuing another batch within the next 24 hours. Please note since it is the weekend once this batch has been issued the next batch issued will be on Monday.

Legal (GBT)
Currently, we have our lawyer investigating this. This has taken far longer than we (prior to legal council estimate) expected for it to take. Our lawyer has cited due to a myriad of complexities and “grey areas” with SEC laws and cases pertaining to Bitcoin, our Steam Item marketplace and having to investigate and actively cooperate with a Costa Rican lawyer there is still much research to be done and have given us the current eta of 2 weeks before he can make a conclusive statement to us on this.

In case we are not able to offer legal security to GBT holders, we are considering alternative avenues of ensuring satisfaction. One idea is a buyback clause ensuring there is always liquidity within the GBT market therefore offering at least a stable minimum value of GBT.  Other ideas include the use of smart contracts regarding using one to automatically pay GBT holders. We feel it is necessary for us to do whatever we can on our part to look into solutions while we wait on a conclusive response from our lawyer. Keep in mind, these are only things we are looking into, and not binding commitments from us. Further research is being done into this to push the organization into being more autonomous.
