How much are you betting? If your balls are big enough i'm game. I brushed up on my esports insight so you better bring your best. I know how bout we bet our GBT supply LOL not crazy let's just bet gold or silver my friend... This guy is such a pussy am i rite? Who else is gonna bet against me...? any takers? No need to be rude my friend where I am from that kind of attitude shows you are arrogant and probably new to gambling. Take some time to study the experts and you will always find composure of this I am certain.

MoneyPot is not in the e-sports gambling industry, or even normal sports betting, my opinion on this is not biased. I would also like to point out I am not paid for posting I don't like watching people get duped, which is exactly what I am seeing here (I don't think GG's team did that intentionally). Sportsbooks typically see higher wagering volume than traditional casino games, yet this site can barely get 2 BTC in action. For comparison, the average mid level / upper level crypto casino/sportsbooks are doing a couple hundred BTC a day in action. Advertising will not change this. This site will never be profitable for investors considering the valuation people bought in at. While the site is not worthless, raising over 250 BTC for only a 10% cut is ludicrous for something that will make at most a dozen or two BTC per year. Lol, you don't need paid advertising to get traction. Most paid advertising in the Bitcoin sector actually generates very little user growth (or at least meaningful user growth).
They aren't going for the bitcoin sector, but for the outside world of gamers. The plan is to focus the marketing campaign on them, and it's not just some paid ads on google. Outside gamers will not be using this site. The CSGO market is already extremely crowded. So, your point is "if it's not popular in a month, it won't be popular, ever, no matter what is done". A bit premature, in my opinion, so we'll have to agree to disagree. And it's not just CS:GO, if you didn't notice. Not what I was saying. And I believe they have been operating for over a month including Beta. The point is that it gets harder and harder to gain traction the longer time goes on without strong gains. Another thing... Alexa ranking is far from the greatest way to judge a site... But if your Alexa ranking is over 1.5MM there is something very wrong there. Again, this project is not worthless... Its just not worth even close to the valuation it ICO'd at.

That being the case it's obvious to me that it will take time for them to build a user base and they said something about game servers. I'm still waiting for them to catch up to their valuation myself but that being said this shows some real promise.

Most of ICOs not worth the money that was put into them. Because usually there is literally nothing in the beginning, just an idea(sometimes, not even that is present). At least here we have a solid dev team and a working site. Consider it an alpha or an early beta version. Maybe the final product will be worth it, maybe not. It's all just speculation at this point, but speculation took many projects very far, without any profit plans attached to them at all.

Yes, I agree that the price is aligned at around 1000 sat. But I bought on ICO and if I am not mistaken they cost me 1200 sat.
That was alot. It just slightly peaked above 900.. but just barely last time I checked. Glad I waited until they tumbled to 800 to snap some up.

Will the merchandise have to be bought exclusively using GBT, or just as an option, together with USD?

Hey guys, here with a small update about how things are going - this post will be fairly brief. DevelopmentWe’ve been working on integrating the new UI and are in the process of tweaking it to work with live data, we’re hoping this week that we’ll have some screenshots to show you in regards to this. We are still running on our expected schedule and ideally everything will be ready for June the 1st which is when the first cycle will officially begin. MarketingTwitter has been going fairly steady with a growth rate of ~60 new followers every day. If you haven’t already, follow us on twitter as we’ll be doing a giveaway this week! We’re now beginning to work on the Twitch.tv side of things where we will be looking to campaign and increase our growth through popular streamers for CS:GO (as this program grows, so will the games we target on Twitch as well as the number of streamers we support). DiscordHere is a chat log from last weeks Discord meeting in the future we will look to make this more available in a better format - http://pastebin.com/raw/wAue3iGF - we highly recommend rather than reading the chat log that you instead join our Discord and read it directly on there Thanks for the support as always, a reminder to those interested the ESL pro league will be ending soon on the 15th so we expect some exciting CS:GO matches as this event comes to a close.

Its really great to see that you are adding sports betting to the site, I just checked and saw Football and soccer ? Also I would suggest you to add Cricket and Tennis too . Please add it to the list , Tennis is popular all over the world , and lots of matches takes place daily . And also , it would be good , if you add chat in the site , so that bettors can discuss about the match , and you know socialize . As I have mentioned everywhere else , this project is great and gamebet coin has a great future. Well done dev and keep it up.

To clarify, while the first cycle begins on June 1st, all bets up to this point are included in shareholder dividends as well, correct? Not just those from June 1st to when the cycle ends?

I'm pretty sure bets before June 1st are not included. He asked us when we wanted to start the cycle and June 1 was agreed upon.
