the testnet problem could be something to do with clock settings.

my pr wallet is also having block sauce issues

thx. i have all of the chainz nodes (10.1.1) in my .conf file

inserting them again manually via debug console has sorted the syncing, but wtf - its 2017!!

this should be automatic

still a ways to go, but we're on the right track.

just opened my uno wallet for the first time in 6 wks and....

no block sauce available!
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PR(o)] ✪ Prototanium 119 ✪ <<财富>> ◣Its like UNO, because it is.◥ on: May 25, 2016, 02:55:17 AM
ive updated to 10.1.1 but have no peers.

my 'testnet3.conf' file was actually 'prototanium.conf' so i edited that but stil no connections.

the conf file contains all nodes in fallingknifes post... so i going to add them into the console manually too see if that will get the wallet to sync up

edit - now its has 3 connections.

As promised, here's something I've been toying with since seeing siameze's request for a testnet chunk of coins. Testnet has been live in Un since 0.9.5ish, but no one's used it much. I got to thinking that testnet coins for a coin that has a great following might also be fun to mine, since they have the exact same type of rewards structure. To that extent, I present:

Prototanium. Its like Un, because it is.

Web: http://proto.uno (not much there quite yet)
Block Explorer: http://proto.uno/crawler/
Faucet: http://proto.uno/faucet

Prototanium is a main-net storage vault that is 100% compatible with the Un testnet chain. It is based entirely on the 0.10.x branch of Unobtanium but supports synching and using the testnet chain of Un instead of its own blockchain!

Prototanium (prototype unobtanium) synchs the live Unobtanium testnet; this means its a way to utilize this valuable sidechain of Unobtanium directly and allow running wallets for both networks without command line switches. It also allows for pools, block explorers, and exchanges to interact with the Un sidechain without need for recompile.

The best part is, if you're using the Un testnet now; you can already send and receive Prototanium! Everything is compatible and linked between the networks. Prototanium will give you the option of using the Unobtanium/testnet3 directory on the first run--you don't need to, but you can if you're already using the Un testnet. You can also choose to install it in to Prototanium or any other directory--on *nix, the default is ~/.Prototanium to avoid issues with daemons already running on machines and to allow Un and Pr to be run together.

Mac: Coming soon, working out the kinks from the last run of Un still
Source: https://github.com/thegreatoldone/prototanium

Completely fairly launched because its been in the client for more than a year. As of current count, there are only about 35,000 blocks on the network and most of them I mined while working on this project. I have enough to share 5 1% chunks and will offer them for 10 Un each, that's a 1Un:250PR ratio; all proceeds will go towards further development and the conference in September. PM me if you're interested!

awesome. put me down for 250!!

91  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: April 21, 2015, 04:15:12 AM
I am at my wits end. I had to move some stuff around, turned off PSU's moved a SP20 and now it won't run. I tried making a recovery SD and a Boot SD, none of which work.

Is there anything else I can try?

best if you contact support @ spondoolies

sounds as though you may need to replace some hardware

i gratefully received my 100g 'NADIR' silver bullion bar from coaex today. (paid in uno on 27th)

i have not taken a digital image as of yet but i am somewhat concerned as to its authenticity.

not only is it scratched & scuffed on both faces but there are a few deeper scratches that reveal a rough, dark almost black subsurface.

i would appreciate everyone having a close look when i get a chance to put an image up.

i have contacted Serter Gunay and am awaiting his response.

i may well be mistaken and genuinely hope i am.

You are 100% right. That's an unusual thing and I had a serious debate with Nadir Metal officials for these scratches and product quality in November dispatches. However, I decided to send the products to our customers no matter what the quality is. You can be rest assured that these are 100% authentic products but it seems these are second market ones.
They were providing us new products since 2013 but I, later, discovered that they started to provide us second-market products. This happened in the past 2-3 purchases so far I noticed and I'm calling back these products, now. It's also great that you took the photo. I'll directly submit this discussion to Nadir Metal and let's see how they react for the future.
I was considering disabling their products permanently and replacing it with Istanbul Gold Refinery's silver products as IGR have been providing a solid service for the past few years.
I understand your concern and offer you with some alternatives.

1) Exchange this silver in your local market. Tell us your loss at exchange and we can compensate you this amount in BTC.
2) Exchange this silver in your local market. Send us the amount you receive in BTC. Order Istanbul Gold Refinery's silver product. By that, you replace your Nadir Metal's silver with Istanbul Gold Refinery's silver product and check their quality. If you are also not satisfied with IGR's product, we can, of course, offer another reimbursement.
3) Send this silver back to us. We can replace it with IGR's silver product or offer you a refund in BTC including the shipping fee you pay when you send to us.
Additionally 4) If you would like to use the product as is, you can determine a compensation amount and we can transfer that amount in BTC.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Rest assured we are on your side and I think it's a great case to show everyone how we do business. I'm open for any questions or comments.

Final note: Please provide us your order# so that we can identify you.

thanks for the responses - i have done no tests, as i cant seem to locate our only magnet & have no acid - but remain unconvinced of its status.

Selling it on is not an option for me so i would choose option 3, however i will be away until after new year and this piece was intended as a gift.

@ sertar - to be quite frank i am more disappointed that you were aware of it and still sent it - blemishes & all.

if you are able, please provide a return shipping label and i will do my utmost to get it sent back before i leave.

in your OP you offer blades as well as rigs but then state u cannot sell blades separately.

i am confused but would appreciate clarification before making a purchase.

EG - 3 rigs + 3 blades, is this possible?

or 2 rigs and 2 blades...?

presumably u are unable to supply the PSU neccesary for powering 3 or 4 blades?

are these very similar to the bitmine rigs?  they seem to have heatsinks on both sides leaveing little room for axtra modules/blades...
