Those reasons you mentioned are what made me to stop participating in airdrops. Besides some people hide behind airdrops and try to steal users private key, in order to be safe I decided not to participate anymore.

I haven't invested much into bitcoin than I have earned from participating in bounties. But so far if I'm to do a check and balance of my Investment, I'm more than 50% at loss currently.

I've fallen victim to scammers before but it's not the fault of crypto, it was as a result of my carelessness. But since then I have learned and moved on.

No one knows for such but expectations are high, we might see the market breakout before the end of the year or even fall worse than it has already.

If you haven't sold the altcoins by now, the only option is to hold them and hope for market reversal. So far you aren't the only one in huge loss.

It's true, they are even reports of ICOs adding fake telegram accounts in their group and posting messages themselves in the pretence of keeping the group active. But it's true that majority of the telegram groups are filled with fake accounts, multiple accounts by airdrop and bounty members.

If I had the choice to make, I will choose BTC without thinking twice. BTC has a better market potential than all the other coins.

Sometimes it's better to sell some tokens than blindly holding on to them in the hope that they will rise again. Some tokens once they have fallen, never get back up. Some even continue to fall until they are worth little to nothing.

I wish bounties will be paid either with ETH or BTC, it will be better for bounty hunters. At least they won't end up receiving worthless coins after working themselves out promoting the ICO.

I'm not surprised because as people invest ETH in ICO and the ICO team sell the ETH for fiat, ETH will continue to go up and down in price.

It will take Ethereum years to come close to the current price of BTC and by then BTC would have tripped in price. I hardly see the possibility of Ethereum or any other coin overtaking Bitcoin.

It's not all the ICOs that are scam but it doesn't debunk the fact that a good number of ICO is scam. I have witnessed more than 5 ICO scam this year alone.

It has been a difficult year for Cryptocurrency. The market has been a rollercoaster but hopefully before the year ends we will see the amrket break out again.

The market is really strange and difficult to understand. When Bitcoin is falling, altcoins fall with it but surprisingly when Bitcoin start to break out altcoins even fall farther

Anyone who thinks of investing all his or her life earning on cryptocurrency is badly informed. No matter the investment, it's a bad investment choice to put everything one has into one basket because the wind might blow and carry it away.

Spreading FUD won't do crypto any good, I'm just glad ethereum has shown it's prowess and it's beginning to get back up.

A well written article. People should understand that Bitcoin means different thing to different people depending on they use and the best part is that people can decide for themselves what they want to use it for.

This is the truth many of the projects launching on blockchain are real garbage, some times when I finished reading some Whitepaper I just imagine how some people could so naive as to invest in such projects because just from reading the Whitepaper you should be able to know that they will have little to no future.

Now I prefer to buy after the ICO has ended because most of the coins usually fall in rise after the ICO. Although some great projects do well even after the ICO so it's better to look at the project and determine the chances of it rising above or below ICO price.
