1561  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin pumping when the economy is heading into a recession? on: June 29, 2023, 04:31:25 AM
I believe Bitcoin price is to some point not being moved by economy down fall, even when the world is experiencing some sort of global recession, Bitcoin seems to always be of a great resistance to some point. I believe this is as a result of most investors trying to pull their funds from the banking sector and other investments that are tied to economic growth and reinvest them in Bitcoin in order to escape inflation. When the demand for Bitcoin increases, there is always a higher possibility for us to see a positive price movement. Just as the ETF news has done to the price in the past few days.

Do you see any assets that can avoid the impact of the economy? Bitcoin is no exception because bitcoin can exist and work for our needs, and we are part of the world economy. Even a stable asset like gold cannot escape the economy's influence, a speculative asset like bitcoin will never escape the impact of the economy.
There is no evidence that many people are leaving the banks and transferring their money to bitcoin. If that happens, why hasn't the bitcoin price pumped and surpassed the old ATH yet? In the future, bitcoin may be an alternative to banking, but it will never be able to become a complete replacement for banking.

I think Luka Modric won't go to Saudi Arabia after the end of his contract with Real Madrid either. I expect him to retire after having his last season here. He can even retire from national football as well at the same time. It just feels like Modric could have gone to a Saudi Arabian team or an MLS team maybe already. Because he is really old now.
Of course it is still admirable to see him being able to play for 120 minutes despite his age. We saw this in the Nations League you know. But he doesn't seem interested in going to a team outside Europe for now.

Luka Modric is now about 38 years old. However, Luka Modric's fitness is very good. He still runs a lot and suffers very few injuries. And this is why Real Madrid still keeps Luka Modric with their squad. If Luka Modric wasn't fit, Madrid wouldn't have kept him in the squad even though he is a legendary player for Madrid.
However, I think Luka Modric will move to Saudi Arabia after his contract with Madrid ends. Because Luka Modric pays big wages to older star players too.

Champions League is always important and interesting to watch. The games there aren't easy obviously and next year will not be an easy challenge as usual.
Barcelona's performance under Xavi improved but they still need to prove how powerful the club is among the present one.
The only problem with managing Barcelona is how hard to get a cohesive team
In the next season it might be more difficult for every team in the Champions League because there are many rumors about changing players in each team and that will affect the strength of each team so that nothing will be easier to win the Champions League. Even though every team will fight to become a champion there, and Barcelona still needs to prove it by relying on the tactics used by Xavi next season because the previous season Barcelona still failed in the Champions League even though it managed to win in La Liga.

The Champions League will be more competitive next season as well. The top teams are trying to increase their strength. Last season in the Champions League we didn't see better performances from Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal. However, in the next season, these teams will try their best to perform well in the Champions League. But we are still not sure whether these teams will be able to perform consistently in the coming season. Despite having strong squads, many times teams fail to perform well consistently.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 26, 2023, 04:20:09 AM
When Barcelona let go of Messi, their performances deteriorated badly. And Barcelona suffered for a long time. With Benzema gone, Madrid will be in the same situation as Barcelona without a suitable replacement. Vini and Rodrygo cannot be relied upon. They also miss a lot of easy opportunities. This is why Madrid needs more experienced players.

Jude Bellingham is a great player. Last season we saw some great performances from Jude Bellingham. However, Jude Bellingham can be considered as a replacement for Luka Modric. Jude Bellingham cannot be considered as a replacement for Benzema. It is still unknown who Ancelotti is interested in replacing Benzema.
I probably wouldn't compare these two teams after their stellar departure. Because since Ronaldo left Real Madrid, people have said that Real Madrid doesn't have a better striker than Ronaldo, but the fact is that Benzema can make a bigger contribution to Real Madrid like last season. Well this will probably happen again for real madrid for next season i admit they have been trying to find the right replacement for the front line and joselu is not the first and maybe there are other stickers that real madrid will bring in in this season's transfer window.

Barcelona did suffer for a long time after messi left because they did not find a replacement figure who really played the role that messi did. But last season we saw Lewandowski able to make a big contribution to Barcelona on the front lines.

Madrid did not have a suitable replacement for Ronaldo when he left the team. Ronaldo's last season with Real Madrid was the 2017-18 season. Ronaldo scored 26 goals in 27 matches this season while Benzema only scored 5 goals in 32 matches. So no one imagines that Benzema will become Ronaldo's star player. Benzema has excelled in every season since Ronaldo left the team. But now who do you consider as a replacement for Benzema? If Hazard's fitness is good, he can give good service to the team. But young Vini or Rodrygo cannot be compared as a replacement for Benzema.

I don't keep the fiat. All my fiat just converted to btc.
I am save.
Then what about your daily life and other needs, of course it requires fiat?
So all savings funds are converted to BTC?

I really don't believe what OP says unless OP is from El Salvador, where bitcoin is recognized as legal tender. In addition, no country has yet to use bitcoin as an official currency or method of payment, most countries have accepted bitcoin as an asset and commodity. There have also been a few people claiming they don't use fiat money, don't use banks and their entire assets are bitcoin, but no one has provided any proof.

The reflection of our immense trust in entrusting our funds to an exchange lies within our reputation. Let us consider Binance, a prime example of a cryptocurrency exchange with a substantial transaction volume. Its proprietor, CZ, remains highly engaged on Twitter. Binance itself has triumphantly emerged as the most popular exchange, earning the trust of millions across the globe. Countless monetary resources have been entrusted to this exchange, and thus far, it has proven to be a secure haven.
The Binance exchange has had quite a lot of trust from these millions of users because their reputation is constantly increasing given the large volume and whales also use Binance as a repository for their assets, but the sense of security for them on this exchange does exist but not in my opinion, because how even bitcoin assets must be kept private and may not be put on the exchange we will never know a worse event will happen to avoid that then don't ever store assets on the exchange for a long time.
Admittedly, Binance is a reputable and secure exchange so far. But it is not correct to consider it a safe haven for bitcoin, there is always a risk when handing our bitcoins over to a 3rd party to manage. I do not agree to trust and hand over all bitcoins to binance.

~~snip~~
Apart from what you mentioned that doesn't match the tactics at Bayern Munich. That's because Sadio Mane was forced to replace Lewa, even though the two players have different playing styles and positions. For me, there was a mistake at Bayer Munchen's technical director. If they wanted to replace Lewa, why did they bring in Sadio Mane, who is clearly very different from Lewa.
The problem experienced by Sadio Mane at Bayern Munich reminds me of several players who left Liverpool but found it difficult to adapt to a new club. This didn't just happen to Sadio Mane. Because it's very rare for a Liverpool player to leave, let alone leave Liverpool with a problem that will shine at his new club, but not all. But most of them didn't shine, like Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Torres, Wilnajdum, dudek and others.
I agree with you. Sadio Mane was forced to replace Lewa. Both Lewa and Mane play completely different styles. This was the big mistake of the Bayern Munich management. And this is why Bayern Munich's performance last season was poor and erratic
Bayern Munich management may have realized their mistake. There are rumours that Bayern Munich is interested in Harry Kane. And I think Harry Kane can be a worthy replacement for Lewa. The style of play of these two players is almost the same. And both are capable of scoring plenty of goals.
The different match strategies used by Liverpool and Bayern Munich do make Sadio Mane transition to the German squad difficult. Mane success at Liverpool can be linked to his mastery of their unique tactical system which may not be perfectly compatible with Bayern brand of play. While it is true that Mane has a modest goal scoring history his contributions go far beyond goal totals. His quickness dribbling skills and teamwork have been crucial to Liverpool overall success and stability. Therefore it would be dishonest to evaluate Mane purely on the quantity of goals he scores. Instead of only counting on Mane to score lots of goals Bayern Munich should recognise his diverse skill set and consider how he might improve the team performance as a whole.

You are right. Mane's role in the Liverpool squad was not to score goals. And he didn't score a lot of goals or assists. However, Liverpool's overall performance would have been very stable due to Mane's performance. Mane has strengthened the forward's link with the midfield. But Bayern Munich expects a lot of goals from Mane. I would say that probably the Munich management has no idea of Sadio Mane's style of play, nor their coach has any idea of Mane's performance. But the new coach Tuchel is experienced enough. Perhaps he will be able to use Sadio Mane in the proper way.

Real Madrid's squad now has plenty of talented and promising young players. Both Vini and Rodrygo are very talented. Now Ancelotti needs to build a squad where young and experienced players can perform well. If they want to develop young players with experience, they must have experienced players in the squad. And so if they want to perform well next season and want to strengthen the squad, Madrid must buy an experienced striker. If not, I don't expect any title from this team next season. Barcelona will dominate La Liga next season as well.
I agree with you, of course because I know how Real Madrid are building their current squad. Real Madrid have brought in some good players during the transfer market, they even dared to spend a lot of money to sign Jude Bellingham from Dortmund. Obviously it will help Real Madrid improve their form next season, but I wouldn't fully believe they can do it without problems.
When Barcelona was left with Lionel Messi, their form dropped, and now Real Madrid is likely to experience the same problem after leaving Benzema. Even though Rodrygo and Vinicius are important players for Real Madrid, Benzema is a special player. So I hope next season is not a good season for Real Madrid, and Barcelona will defend their title.

This season under Ancelotti has not gone well for Real Madrid. Real Madrid were as formidable a team as they were last season but this season Real Madrid have been seen as an ordinary team. The manager is not solely responsible for a poor season. Team players are equally responsible for the poor performance of the team along with the manager. Maybe the football world expected a lot from Real Madrid last season but Real Madrid failed to perform as expected. It may not be the right decision to change managers after a poor season. There is no guarantee that the team will do well under him if another manager is appointed instead of the current manager. I think Real Madrid should trust Ancelotti. I believe he will do great things for Real Madrid next season.
Carlo Ancelotti is a widely recognized coach for the Los Blancos. Real Madrid is every player's dream club, and demonstrating your abilities as a player at the Santiago Bernabeu is a dream come true. The players at Madrid are the most effective considering Carlo Ancelotti is always looking for the best among the best, and he has no space for excuses for underperforming or fatigued players. I can image the amount of effort that the players are putting into their actions. They are the best team in the world, winning the UEFA Champions League as if it were their domestic La Liga title.
Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Pérez are very experienced in getting players into the team. Perez definitely wants to include the best player in his squad. Carlo Ancelotti, on the other hand, knows his needs well. And the important thing is that Madrid management always plans for the long term. They are not interested in signing a player for just one season. If they sign a player, they will definitely want good performances from him for at least 3-4 seasons. And this is why Carlo Ancelotti is trying to find the most suitable player for his squad.
This has only happened in the last few seasons and it is quite effective, now Real Madrid has a lot of potential young players and this is inseparable from Carlo Ancelotti's project which combines a mix of young and senior players and the most successful thing has proven effective in the last 2 seasons.
Real Madrid last season I don't think was so bad, they were able to compete fiercely in the UCL and also La Liga even though they couldn't win.
Now that many of Real Madrid's players are old and this team needs to do a lot of overhauling, it is already clear that this team will be built even better for next season.

Real Madrid's squad now has plenty of talented and promising young players. Both Vini and Rodrygo are very talented. Now Ancelotti needs to build a squad where young and experienced players can perform well. If they want to develop young players with experience, they must have experienced players in the squad. The main problem is Liverpool's match tactics and Bayern Munich's match tactics are completely different. This is why Sadio Mane could not adapt to the Bayern Munich team. More importantly, if the Munich management expected a lot of goals from Mane then signing Mane was a big mistake for Munich. Sadio Mane has played very well with Liverpool. Liverpool's overall performance was stable thanks to Mane's performance. But Sadio Mane did not score many goals with the Liverpool squad either. And so Bayern Munich should not expect many goals from Sadio Mane.

Yeah, im also aware of that. Sadio mane was not feeling comfort playing on bayern.
Sadio Mane struggles in the Bundelisga is not down to feeling comfortable or new environment; instead it has been down to niggling injuries; the Bayern medics have been unable to manage Sadio Mane fitness compared to his time at Liverpool; Going into his second season; i believe Sadio Mane fitness will be better and improve, he will already be accustomed to the training modules there and can get his fitness managed better. I am sure he prefers working with Tuchel than returning to the merseyside.

- Pujara is out and they went back with Rahane as a Vice Captain (no ball from Cummins saved Rahane's career lol). Wondering if Kohli time is also coming?
- In the batting department 2 new guys Gaikwad and Jaiswal are in but the top performer of the Ranji are neglected.

Gaikwad and Jaiswal were selected on the basis of their T20 performance, I guess? It is strange to have selection to the test team based on performance from a T20 league. Top performers were ignored once more, such as Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sarfaraz Khan. And I was surprised with the choice of Navdeep Saini. Apart from the fact that he is considered as a sidekick of Virat Kohli, his recent performances were not up to the mark. And no one is going to forget his boorish behavior during IPL 2020, when he knocked down Tewatia with a beamer and then refused to apologize.
https://sportscafe.in/cricket/articles/2020/oct/03/twitter-reacts-to-tewatias-perfect-revenge-on-saini-after-pacer-knocks-him-down-with-beamer

I agree with you. The Test squad should not be selected on the basis of T20's performance. Patience is required to perform well in Test matches. We have seen many talented batsmen who perform consistently well in T20 and ODI formats but are weak in Test formats. Gaikwad and Jaiswal are very talented players. I have no doubts about their ability. But we don't know what kind of player they are in Test format. BCCI should have formed the squad with tested and experienced players of the Test format. However, Indian players have been out of form for a long time. I am not expecting much from the Indian team this year. Perhaps BCCI is keen to experiment with their squad.

Why you blame yourself if you're the one who want to spend it and you happy when you buy it? remember, you only live once Roll Eyes

I'm not entirely disagree with those kind of people because they used to live paycheck to paycheck, as long as they not borrow money for unnecessary thing and they not leave anything bad to their friends or family, it's completely fine.

Not all people want to be rich and not all people can become rich.

Extravagant spending is not recommended because we don't know what will happen in the future, so it is also necessary to have provisions for emergencies. But not so that we save too much to harm ourselves, don't forget that we try to work and earn a lot of money to have a better life. So no bad feelings or regrets about spending for yourself, I like your point. As long as we don't bother anyone and the spending is within our financial means, we should spend on our needs. Don't be too frugal with yourself because we only live once.
1574  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's get rid of all regulations, what can possibly go wrong on: June 24, 2023, 03:45:58 AM

Yep there is the need for regulation but we can't compare this to the innovation of cryptcurrencies where regulators are deliberately not allowing exchanges to register.

Oceangate is merely an adventurer's dream. Those who are willing to risk their lives to reach the deepest are happy to risk. I'm sure they know the risk, they probably sign waivers too.

When it comes to cryptocurrencies, it is true that governments are not doing their part, and they are negatively impacting the development of the industry as the SEC is doing. But besides that, there are also many investors who are against all regulations, they do not need to know what the regulations are and constantly oppose and strongly oppose.

It can be said that currently, the government and the people have not found a common voice, while we want freedom, the government wants to control us more. Since then, there have been too many unresolvable conflicts.

I am not against all regulations but they should at least make regulations that are appropriate and fair for all rather than just for their own benefit.

...
Also, Milan don't have the strongest mid line, so they have some work to do, but I don't see any significant activity in the transfer market yet.
When it comes to their midfield Milan will really need to concern themselves with keeping their midfield strong next season. Because they played with so many loaned midfielders this season. Actually not all of them played in so many matches but they were at least alternatives to the main players. Bakayoko, Brahim Diaz and Vranckx all are about to return to their teams as their loan spell is ending soon.

Apart from that Tonali who is one of the most important members in their midfield is also chased by some teams. Newcastle is the most rumoured team with him currently. Losing so many midfielders at the same time could create some crisis for Milan so they should start looking for midfielders as Plan B.

Charles De Ketelaere was signed by Milan also and he is actually a really talented attacking midfielder. He couldn't contribute with goals and assists much this season but he is still very young. Hopefully he can start doing better in time.

I would actually say that if you can win with having loaned players in the squad, it is actually not bad. But the problem is that stability is not going to be there. Playing with loaned players means that the players are probably not going to be the same every season. Which means the performance is also not going to be the same.

At the same time, the quality of the squad is also going to vary. I don’t know what the financial situation of Milan is right now. I hope they will be able to make some transfers, which will make the squad stronger. But it is going to take a lot of money to successfully make the midfield and attack strong.
1576  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC fighting for the publics my ass on: June 23, 2023, 04:27:23 AM
I honestly don't see any reason to be insulting and using inappropriate words to attack regulators who are just doing their job, some members have already spoken about the discreditability of your source so I won't talk about that subject because I agree with them, your source is not credible. now about criticizing regulators i think you are exaggerating a lot, it makes no sense to attack the sec. exchanges (all exchanges) must comply with the laws, and this is clear. it's not normal for exchanges to like to stay away from operating under government rules, when exchanges do that then it's a very big red flag

and we need to ask ourselves why the exchanges do not have headquarters or offices in the US or in any country of the european union, the exchanges deal with millions of dollars and we are talking about money of many people here, I know that some people will say that no one should leave money on the exchange, but how do you expect a person who does daytrade to daytrade without leaving money on the exchange? so exchanges need to be secure and must follow government laws. it was too obvious that we would move towards centralization and follow governments laws, being insulted sec is meaningless, they are just doing their job

I understand what you are saying, I am not against the SEC if they really want to bring fairness to the investors, and they are fighting scammers in the market. I don't know if you follow the lawsuit of the SEC and Binance, but many reports say that the SEC only filed a lawsuit without giving any evidence, what they accused Binance.us was just speculation, their thoughts. That is why the court did not agree to freeze the assets of Binance.us at the request of the SEC because there was no evidence. I would support it if the SEC were just trying to do its job, but from what I see, they have a bigger conspiracy behind that.
In recent news, Binance is suing the SEC for their recent baseless slander. Things will not end anytime soon, and we will have to wait and see what happens.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 22, 2023, 07:10:54 PM
AC Milan will make big changes next season, we don't know if it will be for the better or vice versa, Paolo Maldini left the management of AC MIlan and there are also many changes in the management of the AC Milan team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is retiring and Sandro Tonali will be sold soon.
in the last few seasons the AC Milan team has grown to be better but unfortunately now they have started all over again by changing many people in their management.
Personally I am a bit pessimistic for AC MIlan in the next season with what they have done recently.

AC Milan's performance last season was quite good. I think they have performed better than expected in both Serie A and the Champions League. But how they will do next season is completely unknown. There have been several important changes within their club. I think there will be a lot of changes in the players as well as the management. AC Milan will try to make the team more stable. Otherwise, they will not be able to survive in the competition. However, AC Milan is one of my favourite teams. If they strengthen themselves, Serie A will become more competitive. We probably won't see the dominance of any particular team next season.

Although at times I thought Nepal would lose all wickets before 200. But your guess is somewhat correct. Nepal was defeated by a margin of 101 runs. This is not a bad result for Nepal. At least I think so. This team is not very old in cricket. They have little experience playing against big teams. Still, they put up a good fight. Had the bowlers been able to perform a bit better, today's match would have been much more competitive. My expectations from Nepal will be a bit higher in the next Asia Cup.
West Indies set a huge target as a target of 339 runs in ODIs is a huge score.  The bowlers in Nepal's team were quite weak due to which West Indies managed to score such a big score. yes I also thought that Nepal might not cross 200 runs but they managed to score 238 runs. However, it was a small score in the ODI match but it was very big for Nepal. Nepal won the last ODI match against United State by 6 wickets as United State set Nepal a target of just 207 runs that day.  But Nepal could not compete with West Indies players as they were enough strong

West Indies were easily predicted to win after being given a huge target of 340 runs. Basically the West Indies and Sri Lanka teams are much stronger than the teams playing in the World Cup qualifiers. I think these two teams will qualify for the World Cup unchallenged. West Indies got a great win by 101 runs today. They will play against Zimbabwe in the next match. And this match is going to be tough for West Indies. Because Zimbabwe is in very good form now. Zimbabwe picked up wins against the Netherlands and Nepal.

West Indies Vs Nepal
West Indies vs Nepal World Cup Qualifier Match. Nepal won the toss and decided to bowl. Losing the toss and batting, West Indies collected 200 runs for 3 wickets in 36 overs. West Indies were under a lot of pressure after losing wickets in the beginning. Nicholas Pooran and Shai Hope both led the team with excellent performances. Shai scored 85 runs off 98 balls, and a few runs would be centuries. Nicholas Puran is unbeaten on 79 off 66 balls. West Indies can score 320+ today. I think West Indies will win today.
Nepal might be going to lose one more match. Because a huge target of 340 runs against a team like West Indies does not seem to be possible for Nepal. Nepal forgot how they started and could not hold on to the end. Where the first 20 overs were less than a hundred, West Indies scored 250 plus runs in the next 30 overs. Nepal has already lost 2 wickets very quickly after coming down to bat with a target of 340 runs. They have a huge target in front of them but they don't have enough wickets. The wicket that is there may not last long against the West Indies bowlers.
Like the huge defeat against Zimbabwe, maybe a similar defeat awaits Nepal against the West Indies.
It seems unbelievable to me that the Nepal team will score 340 runs against an experienced team like West Indies and win. It is true that the Nepalese team has improved a lot in a short period of time. But they are not yet experienced enough. Although the team has many talented players, they do not know how to play against big teams or experienced bowlers. And so I am sure that Nepal will be defeated. And I think Nepal will lose today by more than 120 margins. And the team has already lost 6 wickets to collect 129 runs.

I'm also quite sure that Binance has its own way of dealing with the problems they are facing because Binance is a very experienced exchange and is familiar with the SEC. So that Binance will also not sit idly by with the accusations thrown at them by the SEC so far and Binance is also still trying to resolve the problem this year until it is completely resolved. If you have been a Binance user for a while, you also don't have to worry about the problems faced by the exchange as long as you don't keep more assets on the exchange for a long period of time.

During such periods, it is better not to keep any funds on the exchange at all. It is clear that CZ will use all possible means to solve problems with regulators, but Binance has been actively cooperating with them before this incident, so this situation is not so simple and may take a long time to resolve.

The pressure on Binance began to be exerted for a long time before of this lawsuit and the exchange has been experiencing a very large outflow of funds for a very long time, which shows its resilience, but who knows how many more possible blows it will withstand. But as time has shown, this did not have any significant effect on the market, only minor local drawdowns, which recovered very quickly, so most likely CZ will continue to try to resolve these issues and keep the binance afloat.
To be more precise, the recent crisis is of Binance.us and not of global Binance, people are confusing and causing unnecessary panic. The SEC has jurisdiction only in the US territory, they don't have any jurisdiction outside of the US, so it's unlikely that Binance will have a problem with the SEC. But no matter which exchange, we should not put too much of our assets on it and should not put our trust in anyone, including CZ even though they are the largest exchange in the market today. Always using a non-custodial wallet is the safest solution.
