The buyer withdrawed and I am once again announcing this for sale. KnC has now given out more information about their chips and as it is getting closer to delivery-date the worth should be going up. https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-36

am I missing any news here? did KnC got a working chip already, or you are selling a "pre-order" for a "supposedly" working device ?
Pre-Order, delivery in October as stated. I assume the way it works is that you will receive the unit and then ship it to the new buyer? Will you do any testing on it first? how about warranty? Is there any warranty on these units? is it transferrable? I cannot transfer the warranty but I can change the delivery address to make sure the reciever get's it asap.

Are you interested in KnC models?

I offer a fully paid for KnC Mercury.
This device is designed by ORSoC engineers and will offer industry leading performance and power consumption per GH.
100GH/s per device. 28nm standard cell ASIC Chips (which are being designed exclusively for KnCMiner by ORSoC). Embeded Linux device to allow for standalone mining. Energy consumption: 1.6 W/Gh/s
This is the discontinued smaller version that Orsoc/KnCMiner came with. All of them are completely sold out by now and you may only order the larger versions. Even then earliest arrival will be in mid november. My example was bought before the change and will thereby be delivered at the latest mid october.
Accepting bids from 20 btc (ex VAT).
Bid away! =)

Read the homepage and it definatly seems alot pro Big Brother. Not my cup of tea.

What about postings? Do I need a certain amount of posts?

No way
If something new, much better comes it might just.

Every new generation of ASIC will bring increased performance and power efficiency.
maybe not enough, using 28nm process already and there is no "multicore" workaround, like in CPU architecture multicore is here the base... Thinking there won't still be a race is naive. Not thinking a race would evolve new products is stupid. Only thing that can stop faster machines is if Bitcoin as a currency fails.

Slightly off topic. What PSU's you all buying for your units? Brands in particular?
I will be running corsair 600w that I have 2 of lying in a drawer.

Depends on how practical we (we as in the community) can make it.
The easier payments are made the more people will accept it and the more it will be worth. Only if we don't see some instant methods within a year or two, like visa and mastercard, then we will see a crash. But the way things are accellerating, developing and people are invested I don't think there is a too big risk.

Recommendation:
I bought a KNC Mercury instead.
I actually have one for sale that is in the october shipment. If you offer the right price you might get lucky! =)
