Considering the amount which has been invested in Bitcoin, I would have to go with no.

- At least not any time soon. With the recent mining companies offering ASIC etc, a lot of FIAT currencies where cashed into Bitcoins, meaning after a while the Bitcoin price raised. If this continues to happen I can see the price to keep moving upwards. There will be drops from time to time, we might hit $20-60, but I think it should rise again as long as there's a demand for it.

No: at least not in short/medium-term.
-Large Hashpower (Security), large community (knowledge and buzz), lots of devs (tools).
-Crypto-currencies are not virtual as the network is made from real hardware.
-Bitcoin is very reliable and autonomous especially in bankrupt country (See Argentina or Cyprus case, where even tech-nt-friendly adopt it and felt the availability and the reliability of bitcoin).

No. Look at the attention crypto is getting even in mainstream media these days. Allright, some of it tries to smear its name along the lines of "you can use it for bad things", but they usually just repeat the same strawman arguments, which do not hold if one looks at them for more than 3 seconds.

I would claim that the world will start to use cryptos (BTC mostly) more and more over the coming time, simply because of the ease of which is can be transferred, combined with the security of the transfers themselves. Imagine transferring 100 USD to your nephew in Australia through conventional means. First of all there is the time aspect of it, then the costs. Now compare that to let's say transferring 1 BTC to his BTC wallet. Ok, there will be slight delays when converting to FIAT, but still , considerably cheaper and faster at the moment. This will probably be even faster once the machinery gets going.

Germany has suggested taxing "speculation" in cryptos, along the lines of stock market trading (if I am not completely mistaken), which I also consider a positive. It means they will try to embrace it instead of fight against it (i.e. the subpoenas in New York etc).

Depends on how practical we (we as in the community) can make it.

The easier payments are made the more people will accept it and the more it will be worth. Only if we don't see some instant methods within a year or two, like visa and mastercard, then we will see a crash. But the way things are accellerating, developing and people are invested I don't think there is a too big risk.

Current difficulty race simply deny such scenario.
It seems, the price should rise, if market will be flooded by asic
- everyone with asic hardware will not ROI, so the price is suspected to compensate it,
maybe in long period.

1 mBTC = $5 soon Roll Eyes

If 1 mBTC = $5, then 1 btc = 5 000 usd. We are far from that.
