101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: July 18, 2018, 12:30:46 AM
I do not think so. You just need to pick the right project and right bounty program. There are some good bounties out there, where you will earn a decent amount of coins by doing some work for their project. But it will take some time to find such project though.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: July 18, 2018, 12:26:14 AM
I also believe that bitcoin will not die. Bitcoin will gain more and more people’s attention, also blockchain technology is going to be applied to our daily life. Looking forward to a bright future for bitcoin.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: My Advice on Investing in Crypto on: July 17, 2018, 02:23:34 AM
Thanks for sharing the advice, I did find some of them useful. Yeah investing in crypto can be very risky sometimes. It is possible that you become rich overnight, but it is also possible that you lose a lot money overnight. It is highly volatile, also trading is always open, which is different from stock market. So we need to be very careful when investing in crypto.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO Experiences on: July 17, 2018, 02:20:59 AM
In fact I have never participated in any ICO before. Part of the reason is that my country is excluded from most of the ICOs, another reason is that I am always afraid that the ICOs turn out to be scam. But I did know some people made money from ICO previously.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country? on: July 16, 2018, 02:24:47 AM
In my country with one dollar, you can buy about two cans of coke. Because each can of coke worth about 0.5 dollar after converting to our local currency. But if you buy a box of coke with like 12 or 20 packs, the unit price will be less for each coke.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: July 14, 2018, 04:48:22 PM
For me, I have both bitcoin and altcoins. Bitcoin is still the biggest crypto currency out there, and is the one that most people know. But there are some good altcoins as well, some of them do have a lot of potential to increase. To reduce risk we can hold both.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Where and How to Spend Your Bitcoins? on: July 14, 2018, 04:46:24 PM
There are some online stores that accept bitcoins. You can buy stuff there, which include some big companies I remember. Also, some local stores also accept bitcoins, for example, there is a Korean restaurant near me accept both bitcoin and bitcoin cash, which is pretty nice.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: July 14, 2018, 05:07:33 AM
For me, generally I will diversify my investment. For example, not only bitcoin, I invest in a bunch of other altcoins as well. Also, I try to study a little bit about the project and what it is doing before putting money on it. Also, I do not invest all of my money in it, I only invest about 20% of my free money, even if I lose some, it won't hurt that much.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 14, 2018, 05:05:54 AM
I think depends on how much money you put there, if you only put a few hundred dollars, then it is nothing. You can easily lose those in a casino as well. But if you put all your hard earned money in bitcoins, then it will be a little risky. You should invest wisely and try to diversity the investment when possible.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: July 13, 2018, 04:27:01 AM
The economy in my country is really good. It has been developing a lot for the past 20 or 30 years. For my parents' generation, the economy is not that good, some people cannot even afford to eat well or sleep well. Now more and more people become rich and have big house. It is better and better.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: July 11, 2018, 07:51:03 PM
I think maybe you can invest in both. For example, get 20% of your free money to invest in crypto and 20% in stock market. For me, I invest in both, crypto market is of higher risk than stock market, but it will give you higher return as well. For example, I have a coin that doubled its price within a few days previously, which is unlikely to happen in stock market.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: [Survey] Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency? on: July 11, 2018, 04:54:03 PM
This is interesting information. Thanks for sharing. I did not know previously that so many people have heard of crypto currency, not sure how many have bought crypto currency though. I believe more and more people will be involved in the crypto world.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: July 11, 2018, 12:27:15 AM
I will continue to invest in both stock market and crypto market. For stock market, I will invest in those big companies, because it is less risky. For crypto market, I will keep holding my current coins. I may will look for new investment opportunities as well.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: July 10, 2018, 06:06:41 AM
For me, bitcoin is an investment, just like my stock investment. If I can make money from it, that would be great. Bitcoin has higher risk than stock investment, but it can bring much higher return as well. I still have full faith in bitcoin price recovering and hopefully it can help me with my retirement.
115  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: July 10, 2018, 12:12:30 AM
Maybe no one knows. It is hard to predict the market, same for stock market or crypto market. Maybe a few months, maybe longer, like a few years. As long as you have patience, that day will come.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: July 08, 2018, 05:03:47 PM
I do not think Economy will grow forever. There will be ups and downs in the economy evolution history. But maybe in the long term, it will always grow. But maybe for a few years, something happened and economy will go down. There can be tech bubbles or some kind of economy crisis.

118  Economy / Economics / Re: "10 Common Mistakes We make with MONEY" on: July 07, 2018, 04:58:21 PM
Thanks for sharing. These are good notes about making money and spending money. I find some ideas interesting as well. Yeah we should save money, but at the same time we should enjoy life as well. We cannot sacrifice the life qualify just to save more money.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: July 07, 2018, 07:32:50 AM
Till now I have not made money from bitcoin yet, because I bought some at a very high price end of last year. The market is not very good right now but I still have faith in it. Will be patient and hold my coins for some more time.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 06, 2018, 01:01:32 AM
For beginner, since you do not have a lot of experience and knowledge in cryptocurrency yet, it may be pretty risky. Maybe you can spend some time reading more about a project and find one that you think is promising. Then invest some money and see how it goes. Start with small amount of money first, then you can increase once you gain more experience.
