21  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: May 26, 2018, 07:37:29 PM
Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!

That is right, if you sell your coins at the dump price, you are just giving them out and make no profit. During the red mark, people are panicing that their coins will turn to zero value thats why they sell even the price is unreasonable.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason why we really need Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2018, 07:34:18 PM
Why do we really need Bitcoin?
I am a secretive and confidential escapee. I hate keeping money in safes with passwords or depositing money in banks that fear bank bankruptcy. I need bitcoin, will no one have control over my bitcoin account, unlike other electronic money systems, you may be locked account, frozen property. With bitcoin you own the private key, with a separate bitcoin address. No one manages and controls accounts outside of you.
And you?

We need bitcoin because we need investment where we can fully control and fully hold. Likewise, we need decentralize bitcoin because I like financial freedom and privacy. Its been a good idea to have a transcation that is anonymous because governments just want everything to be taxed.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: May 26, 2018, 07:31:27 PM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?

It is really possible that someone or group of people are manipulating the price of bitcoin because they wnated to get or buy bitcoin at very low price and will suddenly pump and they will gain high profits. If this manipulation will go onto investigation, I beleive it will be hard to trace those people behind this considering that we are in virtual world, without knowing the real names of those people.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Portfolio is Down on: May 24, 2018, 10:23:52 PM
If I have converted my portfolio to fiat two months ago, I will have 50% profit if I'm to invest the money back at the moment. I have learned a lesson again

Just wait for the increase. Remember that cryptos are volatile, it may increase soon. But as you said, be wise in trading or controlling your coins. If you really think that this is the best time to sell, you should have sel them. Anyways, dont worry because your coins may go pump again.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: May 24, 2018, 10:21:43 PM
The oil price is going up and many people expect it will go above 100 USD per barrel,or even 120 USD per barrel. How this will impact the world economy and the cryptocurrency prices?
I have many own theory about this and I will share it later, but know I'm waiting for other opinions.
Is this good or is it bad for bitcoin?

Well, the only corelation I see between bitcoin and oil is that oil used in producing electricity, and bitcoin mining and trading used electricity. However, this will not indicate that once oil price increases, it will affect bitcoin price as well. Maybe on the world market, because oil is one of the basic commodities we need, then if the price goes up, bitcoin may go down.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: May 24, 2018, 10:19:34 PM
We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

Obviously, there is no way to trade your bitcoin without electricity. Unless you have other devices can produce electricty like generator or solar energy power. Mobile data cannot even open enchanges or trading apps.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can change economic? on: May 23, 2018, 04:19:08 AM
We have seen Bitcoin and people's economic changes in the country. Do you know how Bitcoin is changing the economy? Do people believe that economic changes are possible by Bitcoin? And what will be the impact of Bitcoin economics in the future?

Bitcoin is a good way to change someone's life. In terms of changing the economy of one country, there may be a little impact because only few people in one country are involved in bitcoin. Likewise, crypto currencies are not regulated by government meaning, there is no contribution in terms of taxation. Unless, people are paying tax from the crypto they gained.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: May 23, 2018, 04:13:35 AM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

Remember that there is no safe in this world. Everything is vulnerable to criminals. In virtual world, hackers are very intelligent and deceptive. If you will not put any precautionay easures on your wallet or accounts, you will be hacked easily. Cryptocurrency is also vulnerable but these create coins will not be easily hacked because they have unique binary combination.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: May 23, 2018, 04:11:03 AM
Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.

To protect yourself, first, do not visit suspicious sites and links that are untrusted. There are some links being sent in your email that sometimes if you put your address, or you log in, you are being hacked already. Also, always check your browser if there are suspicious things in there.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: May 23, 2018, 04:06:10 AM
We can not deny the big country with good economy, it will make the society economy better too.
So they can follow the economic development and participate in transactions and investments in Bitcoin era.
How the people of small countries can participate in participation and benefit from it?
It would be very difficult to calculate the statistics of users of each country, but the comparison of Bitcoin ATM growth from this early 2017 report can be the initial reference of the statistics.
Perhaps by the end of this year, there will be more Bitcoin ATM growth across the board due to the growing interest in bitcoin this year.

These countries with good economy are also supportive of bitcoin because they are open-minded to the idea of bitcoin. They see bitcoin as an advantage to their economies and their people rather than negative one. Likewise, these countries are more open to investment in bitcoin because they are gaining profit from it.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: May 20, 2018, 09:17:26 PM
I'm Hoeda From Indonesian. I just tried to join today.
First I saw the enthusiasm of my friends in the village who had already mined bitcoin. About 3 years ago, my friend once invited me to join him.
but I refused, because at that time I was studying and working in one of the bona fide companies.
so I do not have time to spare.
and now I have graduated from my college.
then yesterday I accidentally saw my friend on Social Media, he has been successful with his efforts. I started chatting with her, she said her success was due to bitcoin.
after that I am more curious and interested to join to bitcoin.
many new things that I have not known here.
Now what should i do as a newbie and howto get bitcoin BTC ?

I hope the members who have long joined here can share his experience.
success for all of us!!

As a newbie, first you must rank up. Then after that, you can join bounty to get rewards which is in the form of coins. In bounty, you just have to be hardworking. In joining, you must always follow the rule and complete the given tasks weekly to be rewarded.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][BOUNTY]🌙🌙🌙 Moonlite Bounty Campaign 🌙 🌙🌙 [2MIL BOUNTY] on: May 20, 2018, 02:17:03 AM
Hi again,

RE: BOUNTY

Our team has come across some negative information related to our bounty manager, and have discovered various reasons for the delay of the bounty payments which are no longer acceptable to us.

We have recalled (and received back) all of the bounty tokens which we paid over to Atriz.. these are the tokens you have been waiting for.

Our team has had the smart/airdrop contracts created already, and we will be paying over the bounty tokens to the bounters OURSELVES.

We can now promise that tokens will be paid during the course of 23/24/25 may, as we are now no longer waiting for someone else to make this happen.

You can view the spreadsheets here:

sig campaign: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VzHGicT7YgeuDMxQ1P2pnCkeQT8lG9llLiMYZKi4SKU/edit#gid=1652843929

bounty: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vzV5UbGebhTcQqKt-YbNf4MruSj1T56ZvWWmNrPqI84/edit#gid=519574122

***please note that the team was not involved in the bounty/sig camps, and have no knowledge of how it worked. we will be distributing tokens as per these spreadsheets, and will not be able to make changes to allocations.

Keep up to date with things as they happen on telegram:

Group: https://t.me/moonliteico
News Channel: https://t.me/mnlupdates

We apologies for the delay in the distribution.... but we are committed to ensuring everybody gets their payments.

MNL Team

Sir, may we also know or see the spreadsheet for facebook campaign? It is not published here or not included in your spreadsheet. Thank you.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: May 20, 2018, 02:13:19 AM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

KYC has both advantage and disadvantages. If you are an investor, I believe KYC is good to eliminate those cheaters and to know you more as a part of the project. However, if you are bounty hunter, better avoid KYC because some just gather data and put your info in public.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks admit they fear BTC on: May 20, 2018, 02:10:38 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/polish-central-bank-secretly-funds-anti-crypto-youtube-propaganda-videos

Something i have been suspecting for a long time, now it has been officially confirmed.

Banks and governments have been investing in fake news to discredit the cryptocurrencies, because cryptos can save us from poverty and slavery.

The news against BTC indeed seem terror messages made on purpose.
There have been too many, too frequent and too aggressive fake news, and i felt like something is fishy about them.

Bitcoin is a way of letting common people have their own money in their hands like normal cash, and exchange money[1] with other people directly from remote (that is a plus compared to cash ).

This is good for us, not for the evil ones.
Our beloved gov guys prefer us to put our money in a bank account, which is like we are lending them our money and hope we will see it again.
That is also why the govs are trying to reduce or ban normal cash ( e.g. read this https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-14/real-reason-elites-want-ban-cash , or this http://moneywise411.com/government-attempts-to-ban-cash-whats-most-disturbing-is-why-theyre-doing-it/ ).

Go crypto and HODL my friends.
They fear crypto because it can save us

---
[1] With "exchanging money" i don't mean just forex trading, but all commercial exchanges like buying goods directly from other people
---

Banks are scared because they are losing people whoare investors. Many people are diverting their investments to bitcoin because they see their profit immediately and they are also able to keep track on their investments.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 20, 2018, 02:09:01 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

This is quite difficult to happen. Imagine if you put your bitcoin in the bank, how could you get it back if ever the banks already decided to close your account? Likewise, it will need further regulations, terms and conditions in order to make your deposit safe in the bank.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green market on: May 18, 2018, 05:39:58 PM
Hey guys, i want to know your opinin about - if there will be again dump and when is the best time to buy altcoins now?

If there is a dump of coins now, you better buy because they have low price. If the coins become green again, then you may start trading and earn profit. Red mark means chance to buy altcoins.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: May 17, 2018, 06:47:41 AM
I have read many threads talking over this subject and came to know that many people are very confused about their real job and the crypto world. So out of the panic they have started creating many threads like this. I thought to write some suggestions and kind of roadmap so that people can actually choose what is right and wrong for them. Hope this will help.

If this questions concerns a lot to you then you should know the difference between two.

                                                        _____Real Job______.
|.    _____Crypto Job_____

                                                            1. Secured fro lifetime.
| 1. Unsecured for lifetime
                                                            2. Gives you fixed Income.
| 2. Income is not fixed
                                                            3. Promotion Opporutnities.
| 3. Not Applicable
                                                            4. Yearly Hikes in the Salary.
| 4. Not Applicable
                                                            5. Recognition in the Colleagues.
|5. Not Applicable

These are the most vital points in both of them or at least this is what concern a lot to us while following both of them.

However I believe that what matters is the output which is "Money" And when you have enough money then that = Stability in your life.

This can be achieved in easiest way when you have all the point that are covered under the list of "Real Job". I mean if Im coming home everyday with hard work and for which I will get the sure shot salary at the month end then I would be happy for that and will loose most of the tension over that fact.

Lets consider the same case with the crypto currencies and earning through that.

What options do we have under the Crypto venture?
1. Signature Campaigns
2. Social Media Campaigns
3. Bounty Programs (Same thing with token payout)
4. Media Publications
5. Trading
6. Gambling
7. Lending
8. Hardware Mining
9. Coding (Hardest One to get in)
10.Becoming Managers (Very Stable but tougher to reach that level).

Woof! Thats lot of ways with which I could actually earn from the crypto currency. So I might just think that I will leave my job and will focus on all of them.

But what, lets think about it for a moment! Are they really reliable sources with which we could really go for rest of the life? Im pretty sure most of you will say may be, or some of you who are already very old in this field might just say yes. But, I believe its not that easy to work with all if them altogether and you have no assurance that you will get into campaigns all the time and you may not earn the fixed income form these options creating the instability in your house.

Most of the options above need initial investment and some of them are not even fool proof.

We have to agree that becoming manager here is not everyones play so we should consider that option equal to null.

However, real job salary covers all the points in it and we could easily survive! Thats the whole point.

The End Results?

I wish I could have easily said that we can live happy life just on the crypto currency. Unfortunately, I believe that real job is better than the virtual games. I would really suggest that we should look after the family planning, house stability in all possible ways. There is no way we can have that much stability with just crypto world.

You can make it part of your life, but you can push your life depending on it. Not at all!

Suggestions are all welcome!

There are many advantages of having a secured and regular job. Aside from secured income, you will also be ale to practice your profession or your skills. Also you can share that expertise of yours to others in your workplace. Having a crypto job is also beneficial if you want to have quick income and a huge one.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: May 17, 2018, 06:46:07 AM
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?

If we will just help each other in making a peaceful community with one world trading system and helping each other's economy to boosts, then it would be a better world. As an individual, I can contribute to our economy by helping those people who has low income to be involved in bitcoin and help them understand, invest, trade and do transaction here. If that happens slowly, then soon, many would also elevate their living.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation of Bitcoin in the Philippines. on: May 17, 2018, 06:43:49 AM
I just watched a news about Bitcoin scam here in the Philippines a little while ago that aired on the national television. A couple scammed almost 1 Billion Php (19,260,000$) to 50 Filipinos by the use of pyramiding scheme. What will be the impact of this news to the Bitcoin investors in the Philippines? Will it decrease?

I think that it will have a big negative impact in the reputation of bitcoin in Philippines. Since it aired on the national television and almost all Filipinos can see it, some of the future investors will be frightened to invest in bitcoin. And that will decrease the potential bitcoin users worldwide.

http://cnnphilippines.com/news/2018/04/10/bitcoin-scam-pnp.html

This is just an isolated case and only aired once. After that, people already forget about that news and continue to invest and transact in bitcoin. As I can see it, it is not the fault of Bitcoin but the people who foolishly give their money to a person whom they barely know.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin & College students . on: May 17, 2018, 06:42:07 AM
I believe that a huge portion of the the crypto community are still young college students that don't have any necessities that need another source of income aside from their scholarships / the money they are getting from their parents .
And apart from spending their cryptos on either betting or purchasing goods/video games from online markets , many of these students didn't make plans for what they'll do with their coins in the future.
I myself have had many thoughts about hodling and launching a business as soon as i graduate with the coins in my possession , yet i'm not exactly sure what i'll be doing ..
So i'm really curious about :
- On what do you spend your coins apart than partying/gambling/paying for tuition loans ?
- Do you have any future plans for your coins if you are hodling any ?

Well, I have many plans for my coins.. As for the moment, I just keep on holding them until the price will be stable. Then I plan to sell them if I am already ready to manage and establish my own business.
