First of all - try to touch backplate. 3090 may throttle due to high memory temperature. If its ok - try to add core clock several times per 100MH one time.
I have checked HWInfo and no thermal throttling, only power throttle! In MSI Afterburner its not even displaying the mV, why would that be do you think? Also the fan for the backplate that comes with the unit doesnt fit into my case because of another cable  Thanks for replies  You will not see memory throttle, that`s why try to touch. I can`t say anything about MSI Afterburner - i just don`t remember it. Try HiveOS or RaveOS. It`s simple and helps to configure your GPUs easily. By the way backplate of Palit (96C mem) is hotter than Gigabyate Eagle (108C mem), when i touch it. my settings - 0.725V 1100 Mhz Core/ 10500 Mhz memory its on eth 120Mh/300W power consumption Sounds like your Palit has better thermal pads in the back that transfer heat better to the backplate. F'ing Gigabyte must have gone cheap with the thermal pads. I tried to figure out the pad thickness online and I am finding it's 3.0mm yet Thermal Grizzly and Gelid are both out of stock for 3.0mm pads. Yes it has. by the way Gigabyte was trottled till i add big radiator on the backplate using termalpads (arctic 0,5mm). This is the only solution without unscrewing. |

Ok, i run my rx550/2 on win 10. Without flashing bios i got 370 from card - memory 1950 in Afterburner, core 1190 in stock, cn_config L3+3. So to obtain more hashes i need to flash straps i think? or can use some softmod like AB?
Update: 600 accepted/ 22 rejected shares its normal?

I'll have to hope that someone in the general audience can give you a hint here, we have done zero testing on win 7 unfortunately. So it must be win 10 or linux for better result? For linux, as i understand, it must be rocm or gpupro, and for win 10 what driver best? Try latest 19.3.2. I use it for RX 580. Speed is good. Hi what driver is best for win7 RX550/2 for cryptonight?

if you're asking that question i would suggest win10. I asking that because i was testing my rx470 on win 7 and i have not even 700 Hashes on v8, and on R. Now i think about some rx550/2, and i dont know what os will be better for that rig Thank you for reply. |

Тоже заблокировали акк (красная шапка), в тот момент когда заблокировали вел пару-тройку баунти, не больше, писать и репостить много не нужно было, за что именно забанили конкретного ответа не получил, только "размытое" - за нарушение правил. Даже лень создавать новый акк, если честно кроме баунти там ничего и не делал, а почитать какие - либо твиты, переходя по ссылкам, можно и со старого... Ну из стороннего юзал анфолловерстатс, но не агрессивно, так чистил иногда...

Trying to use this miner in HiveOS with 3gb cards.
When it starts to mine dev fee, there is an error: "Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61)." And miner hangs...
Is there possibility to switch off dev fee, maybe with hashrate drop? Is there an option like -nofee in claymore?
I've already switched my 3 Gb cards to other algo. They aren't working from today with such a big DAG file while Ethereum mining. So there is no issue for 3Gb cards for ethereum? Only other coins and algos? |

On what algo? All algo's require different clock settings. My mistake, did not specify an algorithm, rejected shares was on cryptonight v8.
