The Pencoin Qt wallet has a coin control feature. Make sure you enable it. I have my pencoins set with 10k pencoins per address. That gives those addresses the Highest Priority. Play with it and let me know your thoughts.

**Explorer Fund** I'm currently negotiating to have a better block explorer for Pen. It would be nice if I received a little help from the community to make this happen. This is a donation address i set up for this purpose: JWxLpkYvWb8DrcUydBroxHQwW7b8ZdmEjS
You will not be disappointed. It will come with a few extras. This will also help us in getting listed on the exchanges.
Thanks Hayan for donating 100 Pencoins. Although I don't know enough to know why a better explorer is needed, I just donated 100pen also since I have 0 technical skills and a donation is about the only way I can contribute to the community Thanks for the donation doeboy1023!

hmm ok I thought you chose how many coins to stake when staking
Depending how many you have, you can split the coins into different addresses using the coin control feature. I wrote something about it here: http://cryptoroundtable.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26

not happening here, nor is it connecting to IRC at all
Whats not happening? my wallet is not staking is what is not happening, nothing is happening and I don't see any way to do any staking, I have coins in balance but stake has nothing in it and unconfirmed has also nothing in it (both are 0.00 PEN) how to I turn on staking? Staking will happen automatically. The coins need to age before they are eligible to be used for staking. Give it some time. It will happen eventually. A wise person once told me "A watched pot never boils" So give it time. Keeping your wallet open is the only requirement.

What is wrong with the current explorer? Yes, it is a explorer that is being used by a lot of coins, but it is a working explorer. Are you telling me you are satisfied with the explorer we have. Its open source and doesn't work properly. I'm saying, it is a standard block explorer Of course i saw some better, and a few a lot better. Of course, everything that looks better is better in the long run for the coin. A exchange should be coming soon. I'm wondering if Cryptsy is still adding coins, it has been 2 months that they added a new coin, ok they added Paycoin, i still don't understand why they did it, ok, i understand because of their profit, but it was a clear scam coin. Scam or not, Cryptsy didn't want to loose out on the trading fees. It was smart of them. Our best bet is to be listed on Bittrex. If PenCoin does very well, it will attract cryptsys attention.

happened to me yesterday, luckly I had only 1 or 2 payer, but there is no way to contact them the "contact us" doesn't work, I tried several times, always "error - try again" but my shares are still being accepted I think that pool it's just a nice scam...switched to binpool and I'm mining fine Minerpool is active here, send him a msg. He's not a scam artist. The issue can be easily resolved. This coin was plaqued with issues from the start.

tonight 22.00 change ePAYER on SHA256 hash algorithm
Make it proof of stake and you might stand a chance.

Cool...just got my first mined PoS coin.
Did it have a label or did it say (n/a)? N/A Status: 123 confirmations, broadcast through 10 nodes Date: 2/13/2015 20:59 From: unknown To: JguvTteE4CxTwrntp5jJoAaqv8hfnCVJrt (own address) Credit: 0.050136 PEN Net amount: +0.050136 PEN Transaction ID: f71b7abeb5bc6600e73941280d220a1f736187aa23db75c80b915be7a133c76f Generated coins must mature 50 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours. Lets hope it changes when the mining phase is over . N/A stands for Not Accepted.
