1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in? on: February 02, 2021, 08:50:05 PM
A couple of month ago i discovered Ethereum. I'd been thinking about investing, but didn't. Now i think is the ideal moment to go back to this idea. Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in?
If im understanding you correctly you are interested in any high potential erc-20 token, so i would suggest you to take a deep look at Utrust project and if you like everything then feel to invest in their token because i rate it as high profit potential token over mid to long term range.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 02, 2021, 07:31:56 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you
It is lucrative to trade in usd pairs because as the overall trend is bullish so most probably even if you are a bad trader still chances to make decent usd profit is high. While if you want to see your coin balance growing then you can stake your eth and trx at binance platform.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt season start in 3...2...1 on: January 31, 2021, 09:47:49 PM
What happened:

1- WallStreetBets (subreddit with 6.2 mln users) shill and short squeeze GameStop (NYSE stock) from 20$ to 400$ in 3 days (from 4$ to 400$! - from ATL few months before).
2- WallStreetBets short squeeze AMC (NYSE stock) from 1.9$ to 19$ in 3 days
3- WallStreetBets came to crypto and pumps Doge from 24 sat to 260 sat in 1.5 days.
4- WallStreetBets is being welcomed by CMC with best possible advertisement (listed at #0 place, before bitcoin) - to make sure everyone in crypto knows about new shiller king.

5- binance (owner of CMC) helps in shilling doge - 15 tweets from binance and 10 from CZ in last 30h.

What now? WallStreetBets will simply stop, right after becoming shilling king? No way. They have at least few billion $ to earn in next few weeks simply buying, shilling, pumping and dumping.

What will happened:

1- WallStreetBets will continue to pick coin and shill them
2- massive pumps will push investors to become "pump hunters" - searching for next thing that will be pumped
3- this will pump whole alt market
4- this will create new alt season
5- this will pump whole alt market even more.

What are your bets for next WallStreetBets pump? I guess it may be TRX. We all know that Justin Sun is a good friend of CZ and as I posted above ... CZ (whole binance and CMC) is doing a great job in helping WallStreetBets reach to every crypto investor (CMC advertisement, tweets about doge). TRX might not be next pump but its highly likely to be one of them.

BTW:

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron
He is shilling Wallstreetbets too.
https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1355163433700745220
And looks like Wallstreetbets started to shill TRX too.
I do not think we have seen any effect on any coin other than dogecoin as of yet, but i do not think such things will be helpful we should encourage organic growth and pumps not just temporary fake pumps.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Does Every Exchange Need To Have Its Own Token? on: January 31, 2021, 08:50:24 PM
I've only really started learning about crypto and I don't really see the point to all these million different exchange tokens.
Most of them just seem to speculative tokens with no actual function as far as I can see  Roll Eyes
What do you think?

Mostly they are utility tokens with reduction in trading fee if you hold them but i agree there is no need for an exchange token but it became a big trend due to the success of binance and its bnb coin and now every exchange thinks it is important to have their own token mostly because of the financial gains and control over users it gives.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your most preferred approach to investing in cyrptos on: January 31, 2021, 07:51:48 PM
The only strategy that worked for me was to hold btc and eth because all other coins gave me loss when i analysed my purchase price in terms of btc or eth, most of the alts are only good if you are looking for usd based profits.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In which token i invest? on: January 30, 2021, 10:14:22 PM
Hello friends i have around 200$ in Ethereum. I want to invest for getting some profit. Tell me about your experience. What tokens or coins are best for invest this time.
I would expect that you should have kept your money in Eth and you would have made some decent profit till now, other than eth i would suggest ada, trx and vet as they are top coins in my opinion for longterm growth.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 30, 2021, 09:18:25 PM
I look backward and see a lot of challenge facing bounty hunters and I can only see that things will get harder. The mental stress of looking for the right bounty to promote, waking up in the middle of the night for several hours to complete tasks for months just to realized you won't get $1 for all your time.

It is another scenario when you discover that the project you promoted is doing great at the exchange market but you realized the team are refusing to give the reward of your labour or change the rules regarding the campaign just to make it hard for you to get your reward.

I think most of this project team see hunters as being toothless because they know the worst you can do cannot affect their project. They name you different names just to make you look like a fool in the eyes of investors.

Until there is a way to deal honorably with these team, hunters will continue to suffer
The things have not improved for bounty hunters even after  almost 3 years of which i am observing the market. It seems like the era of bounty campaigns with good rewards lasted till 2017 only and after that this segment of crypto market is just going down and no signs of improvement yet  although market is doing very well now.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 30, 2021, 07:21:58 PM
There's been a lot of hype surrounding Polkadot these days. The alternative smart contract platform is definitely faster and cheaper to use than Ethereum itself. It's already within the top ranks in market cap. Yet, people have forgotten about Binance Smart Chain these days. This smart contract platform is as cheap and fast as Polkadot (someone correct me if I'm wrong), serving as a great alternative to the Ethereum blockchain. What these platforms lack is a solid number of dApps to overcome Ethereum. There doesn't seem to be any indication that developers are going to build new and exciting dApps on both chains. As long as Ethereum has the most dApps and tokens, its rivals won't be able to stand a chance against it.

Now the question is, which of the aforementioned platforms is better? AFAIK, Binance Smart Chain (powered by BNB) has a greater level of centralization than Polkadot itself. This should make the latter platform a much better choice for everyday people. Still, there's potential for BNB as it could attract businesses and companies in the mainstream world. Which will survive in the long run, is an excellent question. Thoughts? Huh
To be honest at this moment im with binance especially considering it a bigger ecosystem with working products and services with millions of active daily userbase, binance and its products are easily the top most used services at the moment.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The low latency and scalability issues plaguing Ethereum.  on: January 30, 2021, 05:23:00 PM
Etheruem has been having the challenge of scalability and many projects have tried to solve this yet the coin still retains its position as the second top crypto coin in the market. Although, while Ethereum 2.0, the network’s second, proof-of-stake iteration, is almost done, there is little faith that these solutions alone will be able to give the market a truly decentralized and efficient network.

Either there was this lack of faith that led to the creation of multiple-chain networks, all of which set out to solve Ethereum’s lack of scalability. There are dozens of networks like these currently on the market, but few have managed to get the traction and recognition.
The coins that have toped in the list of technology to take the shine off etheruem are Polkadot, Cosmos, and Avalanche but they are also having their own technical and technological issues which is why etheruem is still much relevant and occupying the position it is today.

Quote
Polkadot

Polkadot's consensus protocol can’t scale to multiple nodes on a single chain.

Quote
Cosmos

The hub has no control over the zones, which means that there is no guarantee that any of the zones that stem from it are secure. The level of security seen in any of the zones never affects the overall security of the hub, which means that the network’s users take on all the risks of interacting with the zones.

Quote
Avalanche

cross-subnet communication isn’t live on Avalanche yet, and the network is yet to see major traction both among users and developers.

https://cryptoslate.com/comparing-the-technicals-of-polkadot-dot-cosmos-atom-and-avalanche-avax/

That is not a issue anymore as many 2nd layer solutions are already available in the market and thousands of smart users are already making use of them.
As far as overall efficiency of Ethereum network is concerned that would also be addressed comprehensively with upcoming upgrades so stay positive good times are surely coming for eth community.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for XRP on: January 30, 2021, 04:42:56 PM
"Here’s the note I sent to Ripple employees today regarding Ripple’s preliminary legal response to the SEC’s complaint."

https://ripple.com/insights/sec-update-preliminary-ripple-response/
Just on the announcement of response the price has pumped massively, this goes to show the support and confidence by the community for xrp. I am sure eventually good things will come up for xrp.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for a Billion max supply capped altcoin to reach $100? on: January 26, 2021, 08:26:51 PM
Bitcoin has max 21 million coins, this low amount gives it that fundamental value.

Can a altcoin with a billion max supply reach $100 each?

Has any alts in history with a billion or billion+ but no more than a trillion coins reach $100 each?
I do not think that any altcoin with such a vast supply has done that before but it is very possible and if the next bull market grows over 10 trillion then we can expect life changing gains and we will see many big supply alts doing wonders as well.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: January 26, 2021, 07:48:29 PM
The day I had been waiting for has come and i sold my ame tokens after a long wait. I got profit from this token. I know many of the people sell their tokens an get benefit. One thing i must say that AME is good tokens behind this team is working v hard for the project and Project have some potential thats why price not dumps as we expect that After listing price go down to 0.005 but results are totally different .
Yeah AME is a solid project but i think you sold too cheap, this token has the potential of 10x to 100x from IEO price and that too in few months, big exchange listings are also coming so you should learn more and never sell quality coins for cheap.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: January 26, 2021, 07:12:05 PM
The word "bounty" means getting paid for capturing or retrieving something right? There is no much difference with bounty hunting on this forum too, the meaning of bounty shows that you can't always catch things right, there will be times when failure will occur but some people wants reward for every single projects they promote, even if you are a pro bounty hunter who's very smart at choosing projects you won't always make the right choice.

start acting like a real bounty hunter, if projects don't work out then move on because it's bounty hunting
As bounty hunters do not have an association, a society or proper group to raise their voice, I think it is very important to raise individual voices and pressurise the campaigns that do not pay atleast the scammers will feel ashamed or bad? I think this is very important to let them know that they are denying the rightful earned reward and this is against the global laws and even against human rights.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 26, 2021, 06:37:31 PM
Last year, Ripple (XRP) price showed a great pump but as the news of SEC file a lawsuit, XRP price crash to $0.19. But people says XRP, is a currency that shouldn’t be subject to securities laws.

What do you think will happen to XRP price for this year? will it recover or will it dump more?
Looks like xrp has stabilized in this price bracket so personally i think that in future the price of xrp can grow but still there is risk due to SEC so only buy and hold if you can hold for longterm.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH where BTC was in early 2017? on: January 25, 2021, 07:21:04 PM
It's easy to sit here and say "that's way too high" (ETH at £1040 now).... But is it?

ETH is being hyped as the disrupter of the internet as BTC was of the finance world.

Sure, some people bought it at 0.25 or £125... Ace... But even buying now with a 100x in maybe 2 years is still pretty damn good..?!

So... General consensus is either it will dump some before it rises or is now as good as any a time to get in?

It would be foolish to just try to correlate the graph against BTC and think it will act the same?

Thought please?
Yes, I have seen a lot of posts with such comparisons and there are many people who believe that eth will reach 10k, 15k and even 20k this bull season. I do not know if eth will hit such high prices but definitely im bullish and eth should try to hit 3k as soon as possible to generate even more bullish momentum.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 25, 2021, 06:24:58 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) continues to be stagnant at $32k giving time for some alts to recover at a certain level where they can compete like Polkadot (DOT) and Chainlink (LINK). Ethereum (ETH) still on its streak of going up maybe going after an all new ATH. But the real competition starts with top 4 to 10 giving them more chance to gain resistance at this stagnant market. What are you guys trading today?  Huh
At the moment everyone is involved with btc and eth because of the fact that these two top coins move ahead of the market, yes, there are several other coins moving nicely but btc and eth have their own charm and for this reason they have over 88% of total market share which makes them extremely dominating coins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 25, 2021, 04:41:59 PM
Hi guy,

I have 5k dollars, you think i should investment any altcoin.

Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

Thanks you.
Yes, uniswap is a good option as it is the most dominant defi and dex platform so buying maybe 1k worth of UNI would be good, with remaining 4k i suggest to buy trx for 1k eth 1k and btc 2k to really hold a dream portfolio.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: January 24, 2021, 09:32:50 PM
there is many staking or mining coins.
staking coin like Tron or Vechain
or software mining coin like Pie or Pando

i do software mining with pie and pando both but
i have Tron and Vechain more than them.
but i stock them in exchange. because it is not easy to respond quickly.
and.. Pie or Pando, i just gathering through app or browser. i just keep it still.
but i don't know whether it can be big money or not.
Pando was listed on Bittrex but Pie is not yet.(i think Pie have no plan to register on exchange)

i just want to hear your investing strategy with staking or software mining,
Recently started staking Eth on binance, so far so good but the only thing i have noticed is that the staking rewards are getting smaller everyday as more eth are being staked and they will probably stabilized around 5 percent annual returns so if ethereum grows expensive which is highly expected these returns will be very decent in the future.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: January 24, 2021, 08:52:06 PM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
I do not think so but as far as the current bull market is concerned i think eth is ready to create a new all time high for eth/btc pair previously eth has peaked around 0.1 btc always but personally im expecting over 0.2 btc peak this time around.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Quantity of Altcoins to buy? on: January 24, 2021, 08:07:45 PM
Hi  I am spending a ton of time reading, watching and asking questions to those who know.

But one question I have in mind is: Let's say you identify an altcoin you want to buy, let's say Tron..... Currently 2p a coin.

What would people normally spend on this coin? Obviously as many as you can in case it shoots up to £10 a coin... But just keen to understand how people think / buy.

Would you spend £20 or £100. Or does it depend on your overall goal short term or long term?

Any input welcome.   Cool
It depends but if you get a new project of the calibre of ethereum and polkadot then buy with all your money but if you have some doubt and not hundred percent satisfied then you should be investing cautiously with small amount.
