You can't assumed what will happened to crypto just because of the current situation. For example, bitcoin @ $10,500 as of Im typing this, still a high price compare months ago. Goodluck in creating FUD. You must stick on holding instead of selling at lowest rate. Talking about hodling in times of growth and selling at first sign of a dip, even with losses is stupid. Crypto is not anymore at the beginning. But it will grow more over the years. |

To be honest. I‘m a little bit scared looking at the Bitcoin development!
After thinking a while about the current situation, sitting in a train and drinking beer, a theory came into my mind:
The explanation of the situation and Why NOBODY has to worry.
The dip in January happened the last 4 years. All experienced crypto trades are aware of it. So they wait for the first sign and move money out of the market to secure profits and to buy later again. This year it were the announcements of Korea and China. Not a big thing. But enough to get it started.
At the same time a lot of people invested in crypto, who are not experienced, are not aware of dips happening and also step out. But for them it’s not strategy - it’s fear to lose.
This goes on until the experienced trades decide to buy back with the money stored in fiat. Market recovers, additional people get attracted by the rise and at the end more money is in as before.
The conclusion: No reason to worrry - but changing the strategy for next year. Maybe for the next cyclical dip coming.

I‘m only 4 weeks in crypto. Everyone talked always about holding when market is going down.
Now - the same dip as last four years before happened and everyone got scared.
Trust yourself and hodl.

A similar correction happened since 2015 every year. In most cases Bitcoin and other currencies were up again 10 days later. This will happen again.
Lowest BTC value tomorrow ~10000 USD. New all time high around 20 February.
This is not based on technical analysis. Only looking at the bitcoin chart at coin market cap.

And still not sure if the fork will happen.

Elix is a solid project with higher chance to grow massively. On top it is low atm. But I would not put all my money in. Maybe you can do 70-30.

As soon as Kucoin market recovers, Elixir (along with PRL and DBC) are going to absolutely skyrocket. It just needs volume right now. Which will 100% come as soon as this BCD fiasco ends (everyone will sell BCD and there will be a TON of money flying around Kucoin.
