So I've decided that for mining this coin, I'm going to try and solo mine. I'm trying to get everything set up so as to not make any mistakes upon launch.
Will the roaming folder be called Happy or Happycoin?
Will the wallet come with some nodes? Or will we have to add some once launched?

Wallet BS again!  I've cleared all the roaming data except wallet.dat. I've redownloaded the latest syncQT from the op 1st page. Still stops at 8200. WTF? If it stops, close wallet and re-open and it'll pass. For the 8000+ blocks you'll probably need to close and re-open a couple of times. |

Just waiting for our wallet to catch up.
It seems to be stuck on block 8200 right now Mintpal withdrawals and deposits should be open again soon Lol, so even Mintpal has stuck on catching up. Ask him if he's tried turning it off and on again (the wallet) should help move things along. I think once all three of the exchanges are back to full strength we should see a nice jump in SYNC. Maybe up to 0.6 within a few hours. |

None here. And i just received my first stake on 0.148 SYNC so there doesn't seem to be a minimum to steak either. |

have we any idea when mintpal will be opening up the gates? i've two withdrawals waiting to get to my wallet and I'd rather these coins were staking in my own wallet, as opposed to theirs?
Mintpal stated back in March that it wouldn't stake POS coins. https://support.mintpal.com/index.php?module=announce&sec=view&id=10And on one of the forums they said it was because it would mess their audits up so they never stake them thanks for that, it makes sense for exchanges to keep their wallets locked, and it's appreciated you took time to dig out the link for me  everything looks to be running smoothly, i've just spent some time setting up wallets on all my windows machines and each are in sync, with the wallet I have my coins in; ready to stake in ~1hour... time to put the kettle on, put the feet up and just wait for my withdrawals - as said, i've filed a support ticket, just want to make sure my withdrawals haven't been lost in the fork really. anyhoo, thanks again. No problem. It's amazing how handy it is to know where that blog post is though, especially when you do as much POS as I do. I've got MINT, ZEIT, HBN and SYNC currently in wallets for POS. And once it's distributed I'll have some KTK too. Yeah sticking kettle on sounds good, but I think I'm out of milk :S I think the problem with support tickets with both Mintpal and Bittrex is both of them had some issues at the end of the week (Bittrex was a coin amount cache issue and Mintpal had to double check for stuck orders) and as a result I'm guessing they have a back log of tickets. |

Sour grapes still? Busoni from Poloniex just contacted me about adding Conspiracy Coin to their exchange. Here's my response. However, we will slightly increase the max 33 million coins in the next update (this week) to ensure all block rewards are paid out up to 1 million blocks.
In the next few weeks we are adding PoS as well, so the max coin will definitely be increased. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
There have been many calls for the coin to go on a higher quality exchange, so thanks for considering this
I see you're still not being honest with people dev. This is some pretty ballsy false advertising, getting your miners hopes up that this is on Poloniex when it isn't.

Not really, I never had sour grapes, just wanted people who came to this thread to see how unfair the launch was. Like I said yesterday, I mined with 2mh/s for 11 minutes and got 473 CYC, dumped them earlier for 50k satoshi... You think it's possible to have sour grapes when 11 minutes of mining nets 0.23 BTC... I said it was an unfair launch, and I stand by that mainly because I had too many coins. But I would have prefered to give them back and do it right than to carry on. You wanted to carry on so you did. Right, and with some context that picture makes more sense, but just the picture is false advertising. |

Rather than delete stuff when stuck, just close the wallet and re-open. I had to do it 5 times after getting the latest wallet. No idea why but it works. |

Goodnight.....  More Good-news tomorrow Good job today, even under the pressure of hundreds of idiots screaming at you, you kept your cool and knocked out a great fix. I've been having issues all day but as others were having the same I just kept reading. Recently updated to the latest wallet and after a few "turn it off and on agains" when the block sync stopped, it's now working great. Just need 14 more confirmations till I go past 1000 and hopefully will see a stake by the time I get up. Go get some rest, you've earned it (and will probably need it too with this coin...) Oh and I'll sort the donation out tomorrow once everything is back to normal, I haven't forgotten, just with everything that's been going on my coins have been on lockdown! |
