The mother of BTClock days!  Cheesy
THIS is that 3 block/day that we`re talking about!
MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!

One of these times we're going to hit a four or five day

Not per miner.  For my whole house.

I guess i should explain how the power bill works in Pennsylvania.  You are stuck with PPL to run the power to your house at .04 cents per Kwh and then you choose a provider and they range anywhere from .05 to .1 per Kwh.  A provider offered my 89.99 no matter how much power I use because I live very close to a ton of windmills.

What is your amperage limit?

I have 200 amp service.  I'm checking on how many miner will max this out.  I heard 6.

How does this deal sound for electricity?  89.99 per month unlimited plus 4 cent per Kwh.

Bonus: It's all Wind power

Per miner?    That is horrible.  Rough math:  1.4kw/hr * 24 * 30 = 1008 KWH for $89.99 + $40.32 = $130.31 / 1008 = $0.129/kwh

If not, say its good for 100 miners:  $89.99 + $4032 = $4122 / 100800 = $0.041/kwh which is great, but somehow I doubt that $89.99 is good for 100 miners.  What does it cover?

How many Kwh do you use and is it for all your machines or per machine?

about 3000 Kwh and that's including 2 s9's and all other power used in the house but I'm going to use more now...lol   I'm definitely going to add a few more S9's with this unlimited deal.

Instead of looking at daily payouts.  I like to look at the whole month or combination of months.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TUQ7eEWaMKaAW1QjAHy34KL9nQ09R6dPrRELAH7gG0I/edit?usp=sharing

But I'll admit it is nice getting 3 payouts some days...haha

This is Great!!! Would you mind if I shared this in my promoting??? What equipment are you using??? Also, the 3x days are Awesome!!!

Not at all.  2 S9's now but I had a S9 and S7 before.

I should add that I had to go off line for about 30 hours total around the 5th of the month so I probably lost about .001 for the month because of being offline.  Basically it was 1 Diff.

<SNIP>
I was anticipating a payout on almost a daily basis...

Welcome!!!

Although, in BIG CORPORATE POOLS, there can be enough overall hashrate for daily payouts, they are smaller than the rewards here.
Not to mention, the fees are higher, or altogether hidden in fine print. Also, people who join Kano'sPool with the "I get paid daily"
frame of mind, see smaller Rewards during the 5nd ramp, and instantly feel they are getting less than they deserve. They input their
numbers into an online calculator, and don't see the same results. However, those calculators don't figure in the 5nd. Out of fear, they start assuming they're better off somewhere else, before learning about the 5nd and getting their first "full power" rewards.

As Biffa stated, it all evens out. There is 100% truth to that statement. The variance can be nerve rattling at first, but when you
start getting full rewards, and you IGNORE the calculator, the initial fog clears. I've always looked at it as...I don't get paid daily at work.

Ultimately, at the end of the day, it's your decision, but if you're in this to learn about Bitcoin and want to earn more over the long run, there's no better Pool. Goodluck!!!

Thanks again, Biffa.  I'm on board with everything you said.  Just curious, are we not paid with any sort of transaction fees now?  I thought that was the #1 way we were getting paid with Blocks being found as a bonus.

Yes when a block is found, this pool includes the transaction fees when it pays the miners on the pool, proportionately to the amount of hash power each miner provides to the pool.

But when all the bitcoins run out, we will just be mining blocks for the fees alone.

Please don't take this the wrong way but google is great at answering a ton of these questions that aren't related to the pool.  The next subject I would read up on is "difficulty" and how it affects the amount of BTC you can earn per day/month/week.

Here is another good page to read as well.

It is not hard to explain on a YouTube video with visual props.

It is harder to explain writing on a post format.

I think he is basically asking what is the current ramp up time?

With the CDF[Erl]   @ .9789 for the month does that mean we should only run worse than this about 2 percent of the time?

On a good note it's awesome that we hit 2 blocks today!

Yay for a block! Now prepping for another 400%er

Only one block over 400 percent this year so I would bet against this happening.

And now unfortunately comes the removal of hash by people who can't wait.   Sad

MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!

Just talked my friend into moving over 3 more S9's.  He has a great understanding of good luck vs. bad luck...haha  A [rather not name] pool hasn't been very stable the last few days

Bitcoin mining is a lot like playing cards for tons of Money.  Sometimes you run good and sometimes you run bad.

I have a feeling we are going to have a couple of 4 block days in the month of May right after we crack this 300 percent block.

55  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [145+PH] KanoPool kano.is 7 BTC giveaway 🐈 US,UK,JP,NYA,DE,SG on: May 07, 2018, 08:58:58 PM
I'm curious about the monthly stats, 4th column, "expected". It's been at 3.03 for 4 days now. Is it only going to update when we hit a block,  like the way may didn't show until a block? Surely in 4 days our expectations would rise.

Yes, when we hit the next block (assuming in the next 24 hours), it'll jump the expected to 4-5+...part of the reason why Feb looks so "good" is that we never found a last block during the end of that month, so the expected never changed.

6 blocks are expected already since the first one was 300 percent unless we hit a block very shortly it will be two 300 percent blocks.
56  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [10 PH] ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool on: May 07, 2018, 12:49:52 AM
I'm really interested the time frame we find blocks after this next one. I guess I'm a sucker for anticipation.  Wink

If the pool stays at 21.1 P the pool should find around 3 blocks per month at current difficultly but keep in mind that difficultly changes every two weeks.

Hai folks, so ran on Kano for about 4 and a half days now, received 0.00067 BTC on this last block. I guess this pool is better for larger miners, I am running just one S9 so its probably not beneficial to me. I have been getting 0.0012 per day on slushpool, so I cannot see a benefit for me personally to keep mining on Kano. I earned less than half here over 4 days than what i get from SP in 1 day.

Am I missing something?

Here is a post about how much you should earn with 13.5TH/s when you have reached your full 5Nd...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg36027820#msg36027820

I have a friend that I'm trying to get to come over to Kano and he's not getting anywhere near .00012 per day with his S9's.  Are you talking about last month or some other timeframe?

With Kano you have to look at the whole month vs. one day btw.  There is also a site out there that keeps track of Kano vs. Slush and Kano has been higher every time I have checked it.

I know very small sample size but it looks like Kano hasn't really been lucky on getting the first block of the month.
