Most starting crypto companies also have no product for more then a year. And not likely any customers the first two years. Flixxo goes live in May and until then they want to have partnerships and customers. It's no vaporware project like other projects These comments are both just copied from the Telegram group. I thought STX Beta was only Q2 on the roadmap?
Well done for beating expectations, lot more noise about, so I doubt much of market was following/expecting STX to Beta early.
Also giving out STX to new users right at Beta is a bad strategy. It prevents token appreciation because participants will be selling their free stx and there is a lot of professional multi-accounting and fraud so it’s not optimal for new user acquisition either. (If not already, the free STX should only be allowed to be used to place predictions, not withdrawn and on outcomes that are at least 3 months away so as not to negatively effect market price in the short term.)
The most popular special bets offered by bookmakers at the moment are things like ‘When will Meghan Markle announce she’s pregnant? 2018/2019’ etc. Which are ideal for prediction markets so hope to see predictions like that available to appeal to a non crypto audience.
Also 1/2 controversial predictions could gain some publicity.
