In 2018, when the onion price reached $20, I once represented the team in the negotiation of large exchanges. I must clarify some facts: 1. The development team has not said that it is unwilling to pay the listing fees of large exchanges. 2 The listing fee required by the exchange at that time was very expensive, the price was about 3 million US dollars 3. Don't accept onion payment 4. Need to ensure that the price will not fall below the price before listing for a period of time.
If you are the decision maker, can you accept this fact? Do you spend 3 million dollars to pay? Remember not to accept onion payment!
If you think this is a promising project, you should support the development of the project together with the dev team. The goal of the dev team is long-term. The current market environment is not good. Short-term speculation cannot continue to promote long-term growth of deeponion.

Thank you for mentioning these additional information. To your points: 1. Nice that the Team was willing, but more important is the result than the willing. 2. Really all big exchanges requested listing fee of 3 million USD? And even if so, only the Dev fund was worth of more than 50 million USD at that time. Now, it's worth only around 150,000 USD so the result is that DeepOnion has neither good exchange nor funds to get listed. 3. There was enough liquidity at the peak of bullrun so it was possible to convert ONION to BTC and then to USD or maybe some part even directly to USD. 4. No coin can 100% guarantee that the price won't go below the listing price. With such condition, no coin would be listed ever, does not make sense at all. But listing on a big exchange was probably not the biggest mistake, considering the fact that DeepOnion did not manage to keep listed even on mid-sized exchange Kucoin due to low volumes. Bigger mistake is missing marketing which would bring new investors and traders creating both volume and price increase. Then the listing on some bigger exchange will become more relevant. And I'd be happy to support the project, but tell me, what are the long-term goals? I don't see any of them defined in an updated roadmap. There was more than enough funds to list on tier 1 exchanges, the reason why the team chose not to was because the core team had to reveal their identity in which they chose not to, so they persisted in doing exchange competitions. Its quite obvious even if they were to be listed on any tier 1 exchange the result would have ended up the same. (same as KuCoin) |

Still trying to win free listings, forcing your senior staff to spam Bitcointalk and other platforms with Deepvault images, the poor domination tasks that has done more harm than good, its 2020 friend the game has changed, sporting the old spam strategies wont work any longer. It seems your old ways hasn't changed, neither will this project if you dont do something about it. You will most probably delete this post as you could never handle direct criticism. Yes, that was another partnership of Verge which came to my mind. In general, porn industry is a logical usecase for crypto, especially for privacy coins. Not only streaming services, but also webcams, maybe even some dating sites etc. But it's not only about porn and dating, there are other kinds of fun for adults such as gambling or betting which might be suitable for privacy coins.
There are so many opportunities all around us, but it seems that some Team members prefer to post jokes here. I don't have anything against jokes, but I don't think it's right time now. Would be better to wait with jokes till ATH. At least I see some community members here who care about future of DeepOnion.
We were once a very passionate community, built from ground zero with probably one of the most protective attitudes towards this project. We were an army hungry for success, things moved along very nicely till we got screwed over by the team. Everything just started falling apart but nonetheless we had fun, this post is not intended to discredit the new guys, but to revive what was once great you need to build a community, create that excitement and involve people that's passionate about crypto in general. This project had good prospects and had a strong following even post 2017, Ideaupdater single handedly killed it by simply not showing up most of the time lol. He should have just assigned the appropriate people that was willing to carry on, another one bites the dust and this is going straight to shitcoingraveyard.

In the new ANN topic, you should reserve the second and third posts after OP for later updates. The second post in new ANN topic might be reserved for project's regularly updates. The third post in new ANN topic might be reserved for other purposes. Additionally, a new ANN topic is another way to refresh the project for the new year. Best wishes for Snowgem project. This is actually a good idea, to stress the most recent updates like Thor's hammer (51% attack resistance ) plus proof of concept and test video, Asgard and the POR vetting review are probably key announcements missing from the ANN page. Although it has been mentioned here it will get lost as the thread grows, so potential new members will miss this if they don't bother to consult other mediums for information. All the projects listed by you are very good, promising and worthy of attention. But certainly the best option for me is SnowGem!
