Any news from DSTM? When aproximately 0.7.0 ?

Is there a problem with 0.6.1? Runs fine for me.

I have posted this before but I'm having ZERO issues on Linux (Ubuntu Server) with 0.6.1 on a eight GTX1070TI rig.  I don't understand why others are having issues.  I'm seeing the slight speed increase dstm said we would and have never had one single crash since I started using his miner back in December.

So I don't know what is up with other problems reported.  I agree with chaostic in that most of the issues are user error and not setting up the Linux environment correctly.  I've been using Linux since 1997 so perhaps that is why I don't have issues.

I'm not seeing any performance issues on Ubuntu Server 16.04.4.  I am seeing performance increases however.  Rig seems just as stable and CPU usage appears the same on DSTM 0.6.1 as it did on previous versions.

Eight GTX 1070Ti @ ~505 Sol/s each for a total of ~4050 Sol/s for the entire rig.

Cards are undervolted/underpowered via Nvidia-SMI and overclocked as per the norm for the 1070TIs.

Looking good so far on Ubuntu Server 16.04.  I am seeing the slight performance bump.  Keep up the good work.  Been running your miner since December and have NEVER had a crash.  I only shut down to apply patches once a month and I'm back up and running within 10 minutes after that.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Email to reclaim username from site hack is invalid on: April 21, 2018, 11:33:50 AM
Tried to login with my username back from 2013 and the forum says the site was hacked in 2015 and I need to email an address to get it activated. Problem is, that address it shows to email is not valid and bounces mail.

On another note, the way your cookies on this site operates, once you try an old username name and it won’t let you login, you can’t create a new login. When you go to “create”, it keeps dumping you back to the error message saying your banned. You have to clear your damn browser cookies in order to create a new login. Pain in the ass...

Just want to say how good this miner is. My uptime is now at 90 days on Linux.  I only reboot to apply patches or update DSTM to the latest version. Rock steady miner. Keep up the good work.

Zcash pool seems broken. No payouts.

BTCP is up on the Equihash port - come pound the crap out of it!!!

How can you mine a specific coin? I thought zpool just mines whatever is most profitable on the specific algo.

You guys are silly with Windows vs Linux.  Use what you want.  Neither is "shit". Linux and all its derivatives is the most widely used server OS in existence.  Windows is the most widely used for desktops and consumers.

They both fill different niches. I run my rig on Linux but only since ive been using it since the late 90s. I can see how it would scare newbies away as the learning curve is high.  Back to BTCZ discussion...

I mean, look at the damn breaker panel that you will have access to. That will spell out pretty plainly the power availability of the facility.

I realize that BTC is the only method of guaranteed payout, but is anyone using LTC as their sole method and has it been reliable to do so?  I'm just trying to avoid BTC transaction fees.

How are the BTC transaction fee nowadays?  I'm just curious if it makes sense to have payouts (~$20/day) directed toward BTC or LTC.  I realize that the LTC wallet runs dry from time to time.

I seem to get better performance with DSTM than EWBF. It also lets the card overclock slightly higher (clock +150mhz vs. +135mhz). But the end result on the wallet side seems less than EWBF.

Here are my results with different miners: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-nt-qrBJWz9gXytLmJqtNVG75hjuIXHzbw1eAqvXHEo/edit?usp=sharing

Any plans for a new release soon?

He just did less than 2 weeks ago.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: February 25, 2018, 12:35:26 PM
@Biggen1 Another day (I tested whole last week and always mining only zcash was more or equally profitable than MPH. A month ago MPH was better 10-20% than any single mining):

1. ZCASH nanopool: 0,04246335 ZEC
2. MPH + nplus 1.3.1: 0,03636484 ZEC

Now its 15% worse result. Still I am running test on 2 other rigs for 7 days but Im pretty sure the results will be the same. You can check by yourself if you dont believe me (that would be even better - bigger sample).

I have no other way to test other than comparing my payouts vs what whattomine.com says I should get every 24 hours. Since I exceed that just about on a daily basis, I have to conclude that MPH is working fine for me.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: February 24, 2018, 12:47:39 AM
I made a test, I have two exact rigs (8x1070, the same configuration OC, the same result in DSTM/Claymore etc).

After 15-16h I turned off both (I did it yesterday so MPH could update balances from auto exchange). 1st was MPH 2.4.2 with auto exchange to zcash, 2nd was DSTM from MPH 2.4.2 configured to the nanopool zcash.

1. MPH: 0.03248487 ZEC
2. ZCASH nanopool: 0.0331 ZEC

1-2 months ago MPH was more profitable, now isnt, whats wrong?

Your sample time size is laughably small. Do it for a week and then compare.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.6 (Linux / Windows) on: February 23, 2018, 11:51:01 AM
//ZM-0.6 Win vs. EWBF-0.3.4b-BTG-edition Win//

DSTM's zm crashes more often than EWBF's with higher OC settings. With EWBF I can go with +100/+500 for a stable mining, but DSTM crashes after a few hours.

That is why you should stay with EWBF, at least for now. Many people complain about DSTM stability. And while it offers 2-8% increase in hashrate (depending on the cards) and a few W per card less power consumption, after subtracting 2% fee and constant crashes (you lose time on restarts) it appears to be less profitable than EWBF (at least for me).

Been using it for 3 months straight and NOT ONE single crash. Get off Winblows and use a real OS for server purposes.
