I would suggest OP to try bitstamp. It is one of the biggest exchanges. Cheesy
383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc buying options on: May 02, 2014, 04:27:34 AM
Which country do you buy from?

Did you tried coinbase? Looks like they are the cheapest, but still there are many companies who are competiting for the cheapest prices, just google "Buy Bitcoins".

OP is in US and he can't pass the identity verification on coinbase.

sorry i forgot to mention, noob mistake I know.  I am located in SE USA.  I have clsoe access to moenygram, western union, and most major banks are within a coupe mile proximity of me. (live in a decent sized city)
if theres no real great things about any sites i can stil with LocalBTC.. but I feel like there's somewhere with cheaper listings. BTC-E (which i like to keep btc in incase i need to sell fast) list btc for about $450....  but i see on localbtc that they go 475+ for not so great methods, and $500+ for regular cash deposits... ony other people i know to get cash -> btc is wants to meetup in my city but has a $1k minimum. :\

edit; also willing to do bank acc/savings acc if they offer >24hr payment, coinbase wont accept my identity for w.e reason
384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet fee? on: May 02, 2014, 04:25:54 AM
I don't want to sound cheap, but I don't have much money, so the fee's seem like a lot to me.

Do you have a lot of dust inputs in your wallet?
385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining? on: May 02, 2014, 04:24:36 AM
IMO that it's better to mine altcoins with a good rep and than change it to btc so there is less financial losses.

Mining scrypt coins with scrypt ASIC? Or mining other altcoins with GPU?

This is not quite safety to trade here. You'd better to buy/sell in person or on the exhcange or if you do it on forum you'd better to use escrow (but it also means you should pay fees)

There are quite a number of trustworthy persons doing escrow for free.

etc.

Saw a lot of investments today, may some whales will come.

The site's profit went up 30btc these days.

Because 1DiCe1 lost 40 btc on the site a few days ago. Smiley

1) Read the forum as there is indeed lots of important information. But it takes a lot of time to find it from all these shitty things.

Those sticky threads and bitcoin wiki are great place to begin with. Smiley

DhaniBoy, we would love to have you join the site. I would just ask that you select a different username. Post a username that you would like here, and I will have your account changed.

Thanks...

399  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: April 09, 2014, 03:20:38 PM
Is there any such offer but for newbies? As I am also interested in getting money by my signature

You can't show links in your signature space until you are jr member.
So, I am afraid there is no sig program available for you at this moment...

EDIT: It seems there is one sig program for newbies (link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=493236.0), but you need to have 25 activity to join.

Minimum 50 posts a week. That is a lot of posting.

And so you can see very few people joined that program. Wink

I checked out one of those advertising sites that give out Bitcoins for viewing websites. It totally wasn't worth my time as the payout per click diminished as I approached the payout threshold, but I still received by first 10,000th of a Bitcoin. Now it's time to get a real job.

You can join a signature program here, when you reach a higher activity level.
The payment would be way better than faucets. Smiley
