Im having trouble with my miner. Been mining about 3 weeks now. I have 4 1080 tis on the board and it has already burned up a surge protector (causing the breaker to trip) and now I have it on a different circuit. Its making the 6ft extension cord at the wall hot. The most Im seeing it pull is 900 watts with watt meter. I have 15 amp circuits with nothing else but a overhead led bulb on it. The 2200 watt PSU does not say its rated for 110 (says 176-264v) but Octominer rep told me it was fine to use. I have another non-octominer miner I built months before that runs the same amount of watts and does not get my plugs hot. Im worried about it burning my house down. My guess is its the PSU. Anybody? Thats the question Im asking. What miner and how to configure for nicehash? SMOS has ccminer but I get "share above target" rejections with and without overclock.
This is what I used: -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2rev2.usa.nicehash.com:3342 -u 3CzDLgHtrbicesviDcRDJPEpt1wB5PFN8W

I currently have dstm set to mine equihash but would like to switch because Lyrarev2 is paying out better. I cant figure out what to enter into what miner? Can somebody help me out? I have 2 rigs. 6x 1070 ti and 4x 1080 ti. (both running SMOS)

You have bots manipulating your coin on bittrex right now. BS

I bought a big dip while on bittrex and it jumped up 4 percent within the hour. I tried to sell it for hours after. Everytime I would put it up for sale. 2 BS sells would auto jump in front of me within 2 seconds. No matter how low I priced it. They was also keeping the asking side crazy low by padding it with more coins than you have. When I cancelled my order and stopped trying to sell it. All activity stopped. I seen it start again when some dude with 1100 coins was trying to sell his too. Somebody owns enough of this coin to manipulate bittrex. I ended having to sell way down the BS padded side to cover what I bought and take a big lose. I wouldnt recommend getting baited with a dip on that coin.

Yes but not sure how this attack works because it showed I was still earning. Just no payment happening.
The attack works like this: The attacker replaces the legit blockchain, with legit high difficulty blocks, with his low diff blocks, invalidating all legit blocks (orphans). That means no coins can be moved but his... He's not accepting any other transactions... He'd need to stop in order to get the coins moved again. The rest of the details is in post 1 much respect for explanation namaste Yes Ty

Ty. Will it kill the project or is it an easy fix? If it hard forks, do I need my coins in wallet off the exchanges?

Still not receiving coins on x17 supernova. It shows hashing and my share rate and stuff but, nothing. The last ten transactions that happened hours ago were orphaned. Is it just the pool I’m on or is this everywhere?

I’m mining x17 on supernova and have not got a coin in hours. 6 1070 ti and one 1080 ti. Shows me hashing away thou. I’m at work away from my rigs too

Same prob with Hive OS
Did you change anything in the BIOS after unboxing? I cant get to bios Can't get into the BIOS at all? I would say the motherboard is completely buggered if that's the case. Have you spoke to Octominer on live chat or anything? Not yet. Im trying

Ok. Im at my wits end with this board. Im trying to install smos and I keep getting:
usbb 1-2: device decriptor read/64 error -110 usbb 1-2: device decriptor read/64 error -110 usbb 1-2: device decriptor read/64 error -71 usbb 1-2: device decriptor read/64 error -71 usbb 1-2: device not accepting address 5 error -71 usbb 1-2: device not accepting address 6 error -71 usb usb1-port2: unable to enumerate USB device.
I have tried it with a USB3 stick and the msata with diff mouse and keyboard combos. Tried 2 versions of smos. using etcher.
I have the new server PSU and new board.
Its driving me nuts and shouldnt be this hard.
Getting ready to switch to hive and see if that makes any diff (but i dont want to)
Mine works great with Hive out of the box. I also tested this with Ethos and no problem. Sorry I don't use SMOS so can't comment on that one Are you running the new server psu on 110v?

I have a question. I have the newest octominer server PSU. Can I split one of the 6+2 pin to 2 x PCIe 8 (6+2) to run a 1080 ti? or would that be too much load on one connection? I will only be running 4 cards on the board but would like to add more via risers (to be cooler) later and leave some connections free for it if possible.
It will be fine to split the 6+2 into 2x 8PIN. TY
