Sure. Dallas proper or somewhere "near" Dallas? I'm north of Dallas in Frisco/Plano if that helps any.

And as of a few minutes ago I'm no longer going to Dallas.  Now it's just Houston.  Love it.

LOL! Figures.

Proceed however you wish sir. My offer still stands as is.

I actually have a pelican case that would fit these very nicely for hand delivery.  So this is quite sad.  I'll let you know if anything changes.

OK, standing by.

1.23 shipped to Dallas.  Smiley

I kinda like the k16's. I have one thats been working great since I bought it.

I might be able to hand deliver the Ks to Dallas next week.

That bid would be for the 10Ks not the PSU and case.

I'm good with that. How much more for the case and the PSU?

I'm attached to my dozen corsair AX1200's so $200 for the PSU and $50 for the case and fans.  But it's pricey to ship that case.

Your right, I can get that case at MicroCenter. Didnt think of that until just now.

So yeah, if your in Dallas next week I'd be happy to take them off your hands for 1.23BTC. I'll even buy ya lunch!  Smiley

Monday the 16th?

Willing to throw my bid in there for 1.2 BTC for the lot local pickup.  And minor tutorial to make sure I hook everything up correctly to get mining, never dealt with Klondikes.

Klondikes are SUPER easy. I found that cgminer in Windows and CG and BFG in Ubuntu find them without issue.

I dont even recall having to install drivers in Windows although I may have.

Yeah didn't think it would be hard and the new BFG says it autodetects them without issue.  But I am just a simple farm boy that broke some gaming consoles because they were "easy" to mod.  So a quick walk through so I don't cause a toxic spill wouldn't hurt.

Ouch, gaming consoles... Been there.  Smiley

I hate that sinking feeling when you realize you've broken something.

The sad part is, I already have some of these from Steamboat group buy - major loss on what we originally paid for them Sad

The misery of ASIC pre-orders...with no end in sight.  *cough* hashfast *cough*   Wasn't as bad as 13 month BFL delays though.

I'm glad I wasn't around for any of the pre-order messes. Some of the horror stories are just awful.

Yeah, I'm waiting for MBP to unload my BTC. Glad I spend some BTC when it's at the peak.

To all those grammar police I would like them to meet my kids generation that now fluent in english, chinese and their mother tongue Cheesy

MBP?

MegaBigPower, the US distributor of Bitfury boards and chips.

Ah, thanks for that.

Thanks for the insight!  Btw, you English is perfect.

I almost have bitcoin investing/mining thing backwards.  To me, earning BTC is really just a way to be able to buy more mining gear.  I'm more into accumulating gear rather than the BTC itself, lol.  And I know at some point I'll have to stop because I'm not living in a datacenter.  And I'd like to still have a few BTC left when they are $50,000 each... Or more.

This is exactly what I've been doing.  Grin

Everytime I end up with a significant amount of BTC I buy more stupid miners! LOL!

I've been eyeballing KNC, BlackArrow and CoinTerra all day.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Qt / bitcoind version 0.8.5 released on: December 07, 2013, 12:01:27 AM
to the dev's that are subbed to this thread.

Looks like my problem had something to do with permissions within my bitcoin-qt folder. I needed to take over the chainstate folder and one other folder.

I wish I knew the exact commands that helped me but I've closed the IRC chat client.

Bitcoin-QT now launches normally after power cycles and normal shut downs and restarts of the app.

Thanks again for the help!
338  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: MacOS X LevelDB Corruption Bounty (10.00 BTC + 200.2 LTC) on: December 06, 2013, 02:26:17 AM

Can you join us in Freenode channel #bitcoin-dev?  We need details from you to debug this issue.

Please preserve a copy of the chainstate/ directory, compress it into a .tar.bz2 or .tar.xz archive and upload it to somewhere like Dropbox for the devs to analyze.

Hmm... I thought I could figure out how to join you guys on freenode but I'm clearly not that smart...

Still trying, user gamefixer if I make it in there.

I've got to go and get my kids so I'll do this when I get back.

None of the new builds can fix a database corrupted from an earlier version.

Try running:

Code:
/Applications/Bitcoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/Bitcoin-Qt -dbcache=1000 -reindex

one time to reindex with the Bitcoin-OMG9 binary and let us know how it works out for you.  I'm running on a similar setup to you and mactest1 did cause corruption for me but the recent OMG7-8-9 builds are running good for me now...so far.

Tried it. Worked to open bitcoin-qt OMG9 one time. After I shut it down and opened it back up again I get the corruption error again.
