61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin vs Dogecoin vs Litecoin vs Peercoin on: June 05, 2015, 10:09:28 PM
Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Peercoin all use SHA-256 Cryptography
Litecoin uses Scrypt.

They all differ in price, total coin amount and transaction time.

Doge actually uses scrypt, and I don't really know how peercoin works but they claimed that they are hybrid.

bitcoin = first cryptocurrency
litecoin = first scryptcoin and altcoin
doge = based on a joke
peercoin = ?
Peercoin= first hybrid POW/POS coin

all 3 are innovation expect dogecoin, that was created just for fun.

paypal is reversible so its hard to find a person who accepts paypal for bitcoin, you can try to get other payment option , paypal to bitcoin transaction is risky
69  Other / Meta / Re: Satoshi's IP address(es)? on: June 05, 2015, 09:40:02 PM
Does anyone know Satoshi Nakamoto's IP address(es)? The forums he posted on should be able to figure that out. He posted on p2pfoundation.org, here on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3, and the cryptography mail archive.

(cf. the related Bitcoin StackExchange question)
don't you think the guy who created bitcoin didn't know how to hide himself, he was definitely using TOR or VPN to hide his location and identity.

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin core QT. the standard 8 connections on: June 05, 2015, 09:33:56 PM
Bitcoin Core should automatically allow outbound connections. Core by itself is a full node. You can check your connections in the debug window. If you open help > debug window, inside the information tab, there should be something that says "connections." Next to that is a number, which is the total number of connections. Next to that in parantheses it says "in:" and "out:" these two are the number of inbound and outbound connections. Since you are running Bitcoin Core, the number next to "out" should be between 1 and 8. Inbound connections can vary.
I am using bitcoin core wallet but i never seen any inbound connection in my wallet, IMO there is some option/trick to get inbound connections

I think he is asking what to actually do with Bitcoin once he gets it.

You should read this forum a bit more. Trust me you will like it and you will find your time well spent.

Yes thats my question.
I can convert PayPal money into Bitcoin wth VirWox, but i don't know how to convert the bitcoins into real money, that is my question...
you can convert your bitcoin to real money by selling it on bitcoin to fiat exchanges, coinbase,bitstamp,btc-e there are many exchanges that you can use to convert your bitcoin to cash.

77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A small community on an island, use Bitcoin or create an Alt? on: June 05, 2015, 12:05:31 PM
using bitcoin is better then creating an altcoin, so users can exchange them to cash in their own countries, buy them online at major exchanges, and there are already many peoples who are using bitcoin, most peoples don't like new altcoin
