1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Crypto] Compact Confidential Transactions for Bitcoin on: December 15, 2015, 01:57:16 PM
I have had a little bit of time, so I can present an up-to-date apples-to-oranges comparison results from my most recent CCT test:

I'm missing the unit of measure here (and in the paper). I guess it is seconds?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pmtocoins.com new exchange [Update 12/03] on: March 21, 2014, 02:17:50 AM
How much was your withdrawal?

Edit: some of us are waiting for more than a week...not saying this is a scam but I'm starting to feel a little nervous.

0.13 BTC. I can imagine getting nervous, especially when wanting to withdraw higher amounts.
But I do think the owner is doing everything he can to fix this. I actually just read the opening post and got to know about the current situation.
Maybe its a good idea for the time being to limit BTC withdrawals so more smaller withdrawals can be made and people at least move their balance partially around?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pmtocoins.com new exchange [Update 12/03] on: March 21, 2014, 02:07:34 AM
After ± 3 days my withdrawal got approved, I just got the first confirmation.
Although I do agree that this is quite long for an exchange, there are enough people who confirmed reception of their withdrawals so scam accusations are not really necessary.

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Okpay to MTGOX deposit time on: February 18, 2014, 03:59:19 PM
You don't see it on MtGox until the balance is added, after a long time you just get an e-mail that funds are added and then it also appears in your history.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Okpay to MTGOX deposit time on: February 18, 2014, 03:22:00 PM
My last deposit took ± 10 hours, I'm guessing it will be even longer now.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can't withdraw from MtGox on: February 17, 2014, 07:52:02 PM
Sorry to be so harsh for your first post, but you must've been living under a stone to miss why withdrawals do not work right now.

8  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Koeling mining pc on: January 21, 2014, 07:16:21 PM

10  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: tweede kaart erbij hash naar beneden help on: January 21, 2014, 07:08:01 PM
11  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X 3GB GDDR5 OC crasht altijd on: January 21, 2014, 07:00:34 PM

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [ANN][SXC][1.5% fee] NL P2Pool-node on: January 13, 2014, 07:21:41 PM
For European and especially Dutch-miners, I started a Amsterdam (NL) based P2Pool-node for SexCoin (SXC). Fee is 1.5% just like official P2Pool.

You can find it at http://sxc1.nl.localpool.co.in:9699/static/

If you don't know how to use P2Pools, check out the Help page Wink

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [ANN][P2Pool index] one stop for local P2Pools with hierarchical subdomains on: January 08, 2014, 04:20:42 PM
I'm about to start a project which probably will strengthen P2Pools a lot.
As some of you may know P2Pools are decentralized mining pools, which among other advantages, reduce the possibility of 51% attacks.
You may have noticed that having low latency (low ping) to your pool reduces dead/stale-shares. This can be improved by having a node close to you.

The problem is that finding pools can be very hard and P2Pools often have only a IP-address which is hard to remember and some go down quickly when the pool-operator decided it is not efficient.
I want to solve this problem by creating an P2Pool-index.

But I won't stop there.
I will offer an hierarchical subdomain, to make finding a working and local node easier.
The index is also intended to provide a community for p2pool-owners, helping each other with maintaining their nodes and properly connecting with other nodes to raise our collective luck.
Ultimately this will result in more blocks solved and higher payouts for all.

Domain registration is currently in progess. The subdomains will look like:
jkc1.eu.localpool.co.in (my own NL JunkCoin P2P-node, currently available at http://jkc-pool.blockexplore.nl:19327/static/)
ryc1.eu.localpool.co.in (my own NL RoyalCoin P2P-node, currently available at http://ryc-pool.blockexplore.nl:9999/static/)

I hope you will see the benefit here, both miners as p2pool-operators Smiley

I am providing an alternative block explorer for MoonCoin, because the original one seems to be under high load. It will update every 15 minutes:

Donations are greatly appreciated, I expected high load in the next hours Smiley
