361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2018, 09:17:53 AM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?
there is a lot of news telling me that bitcoin as a fundraiser for criminal activities and money launderers I think that might be the reason the government of a country forbids bitcoin in the country
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2018, 09:15:24 AM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.
buying and investing with bitcoin is an option, because investing with bitcoin risk is great that we should get if we sure and believe certainly will not feel panicked and afraid of investing with bitcoin
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: May 27, 2018, 08:13:15 AM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other
everything you say is true advantage of bitcoin, maybe the number one is seen from the highest price always among other coins may be that makes people think that bitcoin number one
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: May 24, 2018, 09:45:21 AM
I wonder this: if the usual banking system will disappear as such, then she will leave and credit system, leasing and installment payment, debt, etc. As there is no centralized authority that can issue and track correctness of performance. To some extent, this is certainly good, but in fact people who can not immediately earn a large amount of money and will remain in the lower levels of life, which gives the modern banking system (though not ideal). What do you think about this? How to Take a loan in cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency with savings and loan I do not think there is and can not be done because in my country bitcoin not become the official currency can be used as a system of sale and purchase transactions and savings and loans, even credit
365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Criminal investigation into bitcoin price manipulation? on: May 24, 2018, 09:38:44 AM
On May 24, according to bloomberg reports that the United States department of justice has started the currency manipulation about the existence of the traders and other digital currency prices of criminal investigation, which greatly strengthened the censorship of the United States market for encryption.
Is it real? Will it bring down prices?
I think the unstable bitcoin price can not be manipulated because we also know if there is bad news about bitcoin bitcoin value will decrease whether bad news is manipulated so that the price becomes unstable
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 24, 2018, 09:33:58 AM
Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

I think bitcoin theft has happened so often, I think we alone can secure the bitcoin we have, I do periodic code replacement and avoid sites I do not know
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 19, 2018, 05:07:36 AM
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another. A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!
1. Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2. September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5. Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"... (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"[IMG]
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"[IMG]
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"[IMG]??

Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.
I personally always believe and believe investing with bitcoin and I never believe bad news about bitcoin, patience beliefs and beliefs about bitcoin that makes bitcoin grow and work
368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why do many bounty projects provide fraud? on: May 18, 2018, 08:49:17 AM
I think the present gift project is unlike in 2017, in terms of distribution, trust, and worse yet the project gift manager escapes the responsibility / disappears. do you feel what I feel? for the masters here, what to do if I experience it? especially for me who is new in bounty world! thanks.
yes must have experienced and get a project that leads to fraud and I do not get anything from what we do, for me it is an experience for the future that we are more clever and meticulous in choosing a bounty project
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is selling Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2018, 08:42:24 AM
Everyone in here is desperate to convince each other the Bitcoin can only go up and therefore you have to buy and hold.

But when you buy Bitcoin, someone is selling it to you.

Why are people selling Bitcoin?

The knowledgeable people are the ones who are now slowly selling out before the bubble bursts. When you are now buying more and more Bitcoin ("investing" as people in here call it) who do you think you are buying them from?

You are buying from the knowledgeable people who are slowly getting rid of their Bitcoin.
there are some possibilities of people who sell bitcoin, maybe they are afraid of losing, maybe they also take advantage of the opportunity already benefit from the previous purchase price
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: May 18, 2018, 08:32:50 AM
Is no longer news that various countries of the world are not in support of Bitcoin either as a means of payments or for trading purpose. This are been a challenges most Bitcoin users are facing throughout the countries of the world inexception of few countries.

I have begin to see it that maybe they are thinking that adoptions of Bitcoin might bring a partial collapse of the banking system and also a means of curbing money laundering.
So, let hear your views on what can be done to make our government realised the important of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology.
I think bitcoin is a digital currency that will develop in the future later the government should also think about a lot of fake local money in circulation but bitcoin can not be forged if it becomes a legal currency
371  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: May 13, 2018, 05:23:53 AM
I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.
criminals and criminals always never loose with bitcoin and make bitcoin is always bad for its development I think it will not happen if the intention and purpose of investment with bitcoin is good for the future
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Bitcoin safely ? on: May 13, 2018, 05:20:00 AM
Hi guys
I know this might sound like a newbie question, but Ive not had enough bitcoin to think about putting any in cold storage since Cryptsy ripped me off when they went down Sad
But just lately ive built myself back up a bit, and just need to check my understanding of a creating a cold wallet is correct ? This is what I think was the best way but im not sure Huh

1. Download latest BTC client
2. move to a pc not connected to the internet.
3. Create an address on that PC without internet.
4. Send fund to address created on PC with no internet access.
5. Save keys in safe place Smiley

Also I was wondering if there are any 100% safe third party wallets that enable quick access if needed ?

Sorry if my question has been covered many times, but I just don't want to make a big mistake.

Thanks
Rick
I think that you are telling me is enough to answer for security issues in investing with bitcoin just do the replacement of the key code in a regular way and avoid surfing on sites I do not know
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Cryptocurrency in Universities? on: May 13, 2018, 05:04:35 AM
Do you think that cryptocurrency should be taught in schools or University? Specially in the field of business management?

As a student, I believe it will give us an advantage to this so called cryptoworld, right?
if bitcoin is accepted as a financial system that will be needed by all countries I think it will be taught in the world of education because we know bitcoin will continue to grow
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading will be faded !!?? on: May 13, 2018, 04:58:40 AM
We are in the period of cryptocurrency, thousand of coin are available and trading. Even, most of them are invaluable, like, we take the rock to selling in market, people are curious about it and buy it. But nowadays, everything is more delicate and we dont know it valuable or not.
Cryptocurrencies are fighting for the future. Bitcoin is the promoter and the cause of this War. I think, in the near future, some of coin will be accepted for trading and exchange with the other products. BTC, ETH, XRP, BCC .. will survive. In addition NEO will survive because it is belong to China. They know how to make their products can compete to the world.
How do you think about it?
I think the cryptocurrency will not fade but will continue to grow as the advancement of tehology and the development of an increasingly advanced era and the interest of investors will be greater in investment
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: May 13, 2018, 04:53:20 AM
Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?
I think there are still many qualified bitcoin investors who are still interested in bitcoin and not just pursue profits in their investments
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: May 12, 2018, 07:22:03 AM
I am wondering if there's a huge probability of bitcoin investing will become a company's focus. Like making a company that specializes investing of bitcoins

Any thoughts? Smiley
a time could have happened because we also know the development of bitcoin is also more advanced along with the development of technology and the development of the current era does not close the possibility of bitcoin companies will adopt bitcoin
377  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: easy way to follow the bitcoin price on: May 12, 2018, 07:18:38 AM

378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investment is bitcoin on: May 12, 2018, 07:13:53 AM
I have been reading the posts on this forum and so many people are saying they lost a lot of money and bitcoin is no good. Many people are saying that bitcoin and other cryptos have been a bad investment.

But if we look at the facts and the performance and compare to other investments that some people make we can see that this is not the case.

People are making the mistake of focussing on price changes on a day to day basis but investment is not about day to day price movements. It is about patience and reward.

If we look at the changes in one year we can see that bitcoin has performed many times better than all other investments. For one year bitcoin has gone up a massive amount. It was $900 this time last year! Now it is $7000. That has given bitcoin investors an incredible 700% return in just one year. The stockmarket average return for the same one year has given only 2% return. Fiat money has fallen. The dollar has gone down by 15%. Savings accounts have given a return of about 1%.

When you look at the returns and losses of all these investments, the best was stockmarkets that gave average 2%. So bitcoin has given 700% yet people are complaining that it has been a bad investment, even though it is 350 times better than the next best investment. What other investment has given you 700% profit in one year?

Remember, don't be fooled by day to day price changes. Look at the one year and the longer term facts. When you look at these you can see that if you invested in bitcoin you have made many more profits than everything else put together hundreds of times over.

is currently the bitcoin where the investment of cryptocurrency is still the best although we also know the price dropped dramatically but there are still many investors whose investment interest is quite high
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: May 05, 2018, 03:42:59 AM
Bitcoin opens many doors of new markets, which would affect the economy of a country, the reason why there are some countries who don't like bitcoin because cryptocurrency controlled by no one and because they don't get taxes. But if governments open there eyes and use bitcoin in its positive ways as possible you would be shocked that the third world countries who opens their gates on bitcoin will become one of the best countries we have ever seen.
I think that's what all bitcoin investors want in every country, the government protects bitcoin monitoring and development so it creates good cooperation between bitcoin and the government of a country
380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise? on: May 05, 2018, 03:37:48 AM
The Bitcoin is reaching $10,000 again.

Personally, I think cryptos will be the future, even some countries already banned them, like China and South Korea.

Recently, an news shaped my eyes again, it said that the investment banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs will start trading Bitcoin futures using its own money.
Bitcoin (BTC.X): will this rally sustain?

Do you think bitcoin will continue to increase?
I think bitcoin will continue to increase in price, although we all can not know the exact predictions of our most important patience and belief in bitcoin
