101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of NEO on: January 20, 2018, 02:29:54 AM
NEO is an interesting coin. Many people compare it to ETH however ETH has 17TX/s whereas NEO has 1000TX/s. Also they have recently updated their documentation for Smart Contracts on their site to quite good english compared to before. I think this coin honestly has the potential of doing better than ETH. Regarding the Chinese bans - this may or may not effect the coin. There's no reason the team can't work overseas. And besides, isn't the whole point of blockchain tech to be decentralized anyway so governments can't shut things down?
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinstarter.com (scam?) on: January 20, 2018, 02:24:53 AM
I inquired about this project before but also didn't get a response. It looks too good to be true honestly. For just joining their ICO you get 2 free years membership with a lot of airdropped coins worth thousands? How exactly would this happen? It makes no sense.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the return of the coin !!! on: January 19, 2018, 05:05:20 AM
I agree there is a restoration beginning, but you should be careful looking at daily charts. If you look at the monthly charts, there wasn't much of boom or a crash - it was more or less even. I mean the market cap of crypto is up hundreds of billions of dollars compared to what it was months ago. How could that possibly be the sign of a crash? It isn't, just a correction. I recommend looking at logarithmic lines to get a better idea of the general investor sentiment regarding crypto.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BCC - lie on: January 19, 2018, 05:02:46 AM
Here's the thing.. people were warned for months that BCC was a pyramid scheme, and even the creator of the ANN thread here had red trust, however people got greedy and ignored these warnings. Why should the entire cryptosphere suffer due to these people? Yes it's unfortunate, but it should be put down to a lesson learned by investors for next time.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all to USDT when everything goes down ? on: January 18, 2018, 02:41:09 AM
Like others have said, it's difficult to trust Tether since a lot of this is printed out of thin air without any proper audits anywhere. In saying that, when the market is crashing, it might be worth taking the risk in converting to it until the market recovers. Another option is to sell your coins on an exchange that holds as USD (their own books) instead of USDT (tether books). For example Kraken or GDAX.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta sucks on: January 17, 2018, 02:58:55 AM
EtherDelta no longer loads for me, the coins simply show a spinning circle indefinitely even if they're left for hours. Ever since the new owners took over, the exchange has become literally unusable. As someone else suggested, idex is a good alternative but it has low volume. However if we can all agree to stop using EtherDelta and switch to a better exchange such as idex then this issue is easily overcome. Change always starts with us investors.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me please!!!! on: January 17, 2018, 02:54:57 AM
Airdrop tokens aren't a priority for most teams. They're normally distributed along with the bounty campaign after the ICO takes place (if there is an ICO). This means the drop could take months. How long have you been waiting exactly? Only some projects such as DeepOnion will airdrop the tokens consistently and within a guaranteed timeframe, most others will do this eventually but not urgently.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blood bath! Bubble burst? on: January 16, 2018, 09:03:59 AM
It's too late to sell now. If you could have timed this dip a week ago, then sure it was the wise move, but with 30% losses in the overall market I'd advise to just stay in it now if you haven't gotten out already. It's bound to recover.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you all in when trading? on: January 16, 2018, 08:40:19 AM
The problem with the "all-in" strategy is you trick yourself into believing that you could have pulled it off in the past with hindsight. Let's say you invest in 5 projects, and one of them moons. You can convince yourself that you were really planning to put more money into that one project but you didn't. In reality you probably would feel the same way about any one of the 5 projects if they mooned and convince yourself that that project is the one you were really planning to choose above the others.

Try it now with a future project, just pick one but pretend it is your "all-in". This is the best test to determine whether you have the market knowledge to actually pull this sort of strategy off in the future without proper diversification. You might be surprised that your picks aren't as accurate as you may think (although for some of course they are - you must test yourself to find out).
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: January 16, 2018, 08:35:04 AM
Not really, I personally invested a lot in AChain whilst it was up, only to see it go crashing down this last week over 60%. The telegram is very active however like most telegrams it's simply filled with speculators discussing price and exchanges, with little discussion about the actual project itself. I prefer discord where specific channels for speculation are kept separate to the main channels relating to the core project discussion. For me Telegram is just a flood of speculators.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀📈[ANN-ICO]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 📈🚀🌟🌟 on: January 16, 2018, 08:26:00 AM
Interesting project but is the current platform live yet? Real Estate on the blockchain is a unique idea but I'm interested in seeing how it will perform with the live system.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: January 11, 2018, 11:40:42 AM
I just feel binance to have a smoother interface and feel a bit more professional overall. That's just my personal opinion.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 11, 2018, 11:39:07 AM
if you look at the market caps. and weekly returns currently.. the question is will BTC/ETH survive during this altcoin boom?
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FunFair on: January 11, 2018, 11:36:37 AM
What this coin is ? she will bring a new world ? Can throw the link I about it read

What the?

Anyway FunFair is aiming to revolutionize gambling by offering decentralized APIs to online casinos. It seems to have a lot of hype surrounding it at the moment and a good team.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Where To Buy Altcoins Using Credit Or Debit Card on: January 11, 2018, 11:28:01 AM
Surprised no one has suggested Coinbase yet, and then you transfer the BTC/ETH to an exchange where you can purchase all the altcoins to your hearts content =)
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any legit airdrops? on: January 11, 2018, 11:26:22 AM
I'd say many airdrops are legit however it's up to you to do the research on the team and at least read the whitepaper before joining them, since no doubt they'll require you to post to your facebook and twitter. You want to make sure your recommendation to others are trustworthy.
117  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to do micro payments with bitcoin? on: January 11, 2018, 11:22:24 AM
This really isn't possible currently due to the minimum fee being around ~$20. Personally I'd recommend using BCH (Bitcoin Cash) as you can still get low fees there.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 📌1,500,000$ [BOUNTY][ICO]🔥ERT Ethearnal - Autonomous Decentralized Freelancing🚀 on: January 11, 2018, 05:32:41 AM
Hello, when does the campaign end to claim the Telegram bounty? Also is there a cutoff on the join date?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum , is it the future ? on: January 10, 2018, 04:54:45 AM
I think not. It's shown to have slow network congestion lately and this will only get worse as more projects based on ETH are released. There are much better blockchains in development that will have a higher TX/s.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO question on: January 10, 2018, 04:50:56 AM
If the ICO token remains at the same price or goes lower, then yes it does. However if the ICO token goes higher than ethereum did (proportionally) then you would have made money
